They were very thorough and professional we have engaged them with an annual maintenance contract.

I had a warranty company which basically didn’t allow me to use them. The guy who came with Donley was really nice. They didn’t charge me. I had the specific technician come back. He was really nice and did an awesome job. I had good experience with them. I would definitely use them in the future.

We have been a Donley customer for over five years because they are reliable, knowledgeable and professional.

No complaints to date. Although I doubt that my tenants are pumping in heat this week. (115F today)

I paid $2500 for the work after all the rebates. I like working with them. Whenever I had trouble over the years, I can always call them, and I can either talk to the person who answers the phone or a manager. They have always settled it in a way that I am happy with. The technicians who come out are very professional and polite. They always clean up after themselves. They always tell me before hand, what they are going to do. They tell me what they are doing as they are working. They always know beforehand the cost, so I appreciate that. I haven't really compared them with anybody.

I've had a home maintenance program with them for 15 years. They are fabulous. I get a discount on any parts, supplies and service. I get priority service because I am one of their maintenance customers. They are just a great company and they have a good reputation here in Phoenix. They are all over the Valley. The price includes the spring and fall tune up. Their prices are a little bit higher on a lot of things but it is worth it to me to know that Donley is working on it and they will stand behind it. I have purchased 3 air conditioning units over the past 15 years with them.

I like their honesty and integrity.

The plumbers discovered that my kitchen had been mis-piped since day one, with the hot and cold to the kitchen sink reversed. The house is 20 years old, but I've only had it five years. This will undoubtably save energy costs for the dishwasher. The young man who installed the garbage disposal turned it on to check it out. It made a terrible clanking noise. He turned it off without notifying anyone in the crew. I had to ask them to check it out. Sure enough, one of the pop-out plugs was inside the disposal. When they fixed the leaking faucet, the new gaskets, or whatever, didn't provide a hard turn-off for the faucet. All identical faucets in my house have a hard turn-off. Their simplistic reply was "When the water shuts off, quit turning the handle." After a couple of years, this faucet goes about 30 degrees beyond the normal shutoff of the other faucets. I am a single man and only use one shower. The new mixing valve for the hot-cold water is terrible. I turn it to hot to get the hot water flowing, then I have to turn it all the way to cold, and then back to medium to get some sort of warm mixture. I have no idea what the other shower and tub are like in this regard. In general, they installed the equipment they promised. I appreciate their changing my kitchen piping to the correct heat flow. They informed me of future problems that I might expect with one of the toilets (floor seals). However, I have been somewhat disappointed in the equipment.

Three years ago they installed an Air Conditioner that I was satisfied with. I called them after the air conditioner was damaged by hail. The first guy who came out and said the unit was still working and their was damage and he left. The second guy came out and gave an estimate. It took 4 weeks for them to respond and they told me that the someone else had picked up the part. They tried to double the estimate after I paid them $1,000.00. The unit itself was worth $4,500.00 and it was middle of the road. He reluctantly gave me my money back after 7 weeks of struggle. The owner of the company did not seem to care about this.

Everything went well. They were fine.

They came on time and found the problem quickly. They fixed it in a very workman-like manner. They were a little pricey.

I would always get several estimates to make sure of pricing.

I was initially unhappy with the units. They did everything possible to satisfy me. The president of the company called me within 24 hours, and we worked out what I needed done to my satisfaction. I was extremely impressed with him. He had his chief of operations keep in constant contact with me.

They came on time, had the part, and fixed the problem. They were polite and clean. Their price was good.

They always show up on time. Their pricing is a bit high but the quality of their work is great. They are very trustworthy and I have been very satisfied with their service.

They did great. We had a problem with it and they replaced the parts free of charge. They were prompt and professional. They called back right away over the weekend. They scheduled for the following Monday. I would recommend them to others.

Good job. Two plumbers were here for 8 hours, and a third was here for a few hours. The work was completed as estimated. When they found additional problems, I authorized the changes on the spot. In several cases they found deteriorating conditions and warned me of them. However, I passed on getting them fixed at this time. On one of the new on-off knobs in the bathtub, a mounting screw was not installed on the faceplate. They installed a water spout with a lift for shutting off the tub spout and routing the water to a shower head, even though there is no shower. I have no idea what would happen if I lifted that lift thingy. Would I flood the wall behind? On another new faceplate in the shower, a screw is installed crooked. I suppose this can serve as a leak point for water to get into the wall. I'm going to seal it with clear silicon. I'm a little disappointed in the leaking faucet repair. They replaced the internal cylinder, or something. The faucet now has no hard stop when turning it off. Every other faucet in the house has a hard stop. I asked about this, and the reply was "when the water shuts off, quit turning the handle." On installing the garbage disposal, some kind of pop-out got into the disposal. It made a heck of a racket when being tested. The young man who installed it felt around inside, but didn't remove anything. He just kind of walked away. On the final inspection, I reminded the head man about the noise from the disposal. It took him a few minutes, but he was able to find the object and remove it. Anyone installing garbage disposals should be aware of this possibility and make sure it doesn't occur. In general, I am pleased with the work. I can live with the minor discrepancies. The new toilets are great. The new on-off knobs in the shower and bathtubs are turn-on type and easy to use, instead of the previous pull-on type. It was a real struggle going the pull-on push-off route. The new garbage disposal is quiet and works well.

Wonderful, that is how I would describe this company. They do such a great job even with larger jobs. They were very efficient and they showed up on time every time that they came out. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I am really satisfied and happy with the work that was done. It was fast, efficient and I got a fair price. I only wished they would have returned my call because one day I called them and they did not answer. Besides that, everything else was ok.

I think this company did a terrible job. The vault they replaced, they put it upside down. He was supposed to be a twenty year veteran plumber, I did not think so. If you are an experienced plumber, you don't put things upside down. On top of that, they charged me a lot of money for that ridiculous job they did. So I had a bad experience with them, and I would not recommend them at all.

We returned home after a 3 week vacation to find the laundry tub, washer and kitchen sink backing up. It was Thursday afternoon and Donley scheduled to come out on Friday afternoon. They called first and arrived before noon. They diagnosed and completed the work quickly. First they cleaned the line with a cable for $131.20, they they used a "jet" a tool to wash out the line for $295.00. They only charged us for the "jetting", the work was completed within 45 minutes. The job came with a 1 year warranty and they said we should not have trouble for 7-10 years. They worked efficiently and were very clean. The only complaint I have is that we did not know how expensive it would be and it was about 2X what I expected. I do not blame them for not giving a quote, since my husband just told them to take care of it. I would have done the same, but would have appreciated knowing the $$ first and making a decision. They did some A/C work for us and gave us a quote with options then.

Although the price was more expensive, the work was done timely, courteously, efficiently and completely.

They were timely, informative and reasonably priced.

Regarding (1): I had bought this ac unit brand new from Donley in March 2006, paying over $8,000. It broke down in early July 2006 and Donley fixed it. It broke down again last night at 8 pm. I had paid for Donley's ''Home Comfort Plan'' which includes ''24 hour emergency service''. However, Donley refused to come out last night because they had ''too many other calls''! The next morning at 8 am I called again, but they would not come out until after 12 noon, despite my vigorous pleading and multiple calls. That's a 16-hour response time for one of their best customers! Nobody from Donley apologized or explained at any time. Regarding (2), I asked the tech on the same visit to clean the coils on a small wall ac. It took him less than 20 minutes, and he charged me $136. Afterwards I felt like a bloody fool, which of course I was, to pay this much for such a small job, especially in light of the long wait for the warranty repair.
