They were great. They were very courteous and honest. We had them for over 24 years

At 7:30 pm last night, we realized no cold air was coming out of the vents in our house. We did a few simple checks on the a/c unit but since we are complete innocents with hvac stuff, threw up our hands. We called Donley Service Center at 8 pm. They had a tech at our house by 9:15 and had the job finished by 10:00. We were very impressed by the fast, friendly, HONEST service we received. Josh K. found that our negligence was the cause for the a/c breakdown. We had a super dirty filter and apparently that had put too much strain on the unit, tripping the circuit breaker. He told us what to do and fixed the minor problem. We will call and schedule a full maintenance call to have our unit fully checked with Donley Service Center. Their prices seemed very fair, especially with the coupon I got from Angie's List. We may need a new unit soon-- ours is 13 years old. I would definitely use this provider for maintenance and for a new unit installation.

My regular cooler man was unable to come set up my cooler, and the temp was already in the 90s. Donley was able to come out the same day I called (on a Saturday) and got the cooler up and running. They thoroughly serviced the unit, inspected everything, told me I would probably need new pads next spring, but it was good for this season. They charged me the regular service rate in spite of it being a weekend call.

I had a number of different issues with both of my ac units and donely was great at handling all my concerns.

He had switched the faucets, fixed the drips, and installed a refrigerator filter. They are very well known, but extremely expensive for the jobs being done.

At about 3 pm on Thursday afternoon I called to have a technician come check out our AC which wasn't cooling. Within an hour and a half the tech arrived and did a thorough check of our system. Unfortunately the compressor in our 12 yr old system was DOA! The tech made a couple of calls to see when a Donley salesman could come and give us options. At 7 that evening the salesman showed up and spent a good hour and a half laying out the options for us and never once pressured us in any direction. Being that late in the evening he couldn't promise that they would get here on Friday but would promise that they would be here Saturday morning and have the job completed by 5 pm Saturday. At about 7:45 am on Friday a crew showed up to remove the Freon from our old system - 90 minutes later the crew showed up to start replacing the system! 2 very friendly and conscientious technicians spent the day getting our system replaced. It is extremely difficult to find a company that believes in customer service and integrity - but Donley Service Center excels at both!! I would highly recommend them to everyone! BTW - after the job was completed, as the techs were leaving, they backed in our car and did minor damage to the bumper. They felt absolutely horrible. On Monday morning I called their office as instructed and immediately talked with the decision maker on how to take care of the damage. I got an estimate that morning, emailed it to them and had a check to cover the repairs on Wednesday! Pretty unbelievable to me in this day and age!!!!!

I live 1500 miles away and rent out this home to long term tenants. I conducted all my business with Donley over the phone and via email. Close coordination was required between myself, my tenant and Donley to arrange for the work to be performed. The company was prompt in arriving for the initial home visit to provide an estimate for installation of the new AC system. Specific details were quickly relayed directly to me and all my questions and were addressed. My tenant reported that Donley Service arrived promptly when scheduled to perform the work. Care was taken by the workers to properly install the equipment and the work area was left neat and tidy when complete. I am very pleased and will definately use Donley Service again.

They service technicians are clean and courteous. They even were little booties in the house. I like that are all in full uniform. The customer service in the office really great too.

We had a leak in the ceiling, and determined that it was caused by overflow from the drip pan associated with our A/C condensor. I called Donley, with whom we have a maintenance contract. It's summer in Phoenix, so they were not able to come until the next day -- lots of people with A/C emergencies. They said they'd be there between noon and 4, but fortunately they called at about 9 -- several hours earlier than we had expected -- and arranged to come right away. After inspecting the situation, the serviceman showed us a photo on his phone of the problem - the PVC pipe that takes the condensate away from the condensor had broken off right outside the condensor. He explained options for repair and cost. We gave the go-ahead, and he soon had the repair done. He was not able to get the broken piece out, so he blocked that drain and installed a new pipe on the alternate drain. He showed us a photo of the repair. The service call took about 2 hours in all. We received a receipt from the serviceman and a copy by e-mail from the office. The whole thing was handled very professionally. Unfortunately, we had not been able to turn off the A/C as we were advised to do because we had an ill person in the affected part of the house, and he could not be moved. That meant that the leak continued for 24+ hours, and now we have called for a handyman to come repair the ceiling.

Company was on time, very responsive, quick evaluation and an inexpensive repair, back to being cool.

Very responsive to my request to have both services performed on the same day. I wanted to get my rental unit ready for the new tenants without taking more than 1 day off from work. Both servicemen arrived on time, were professional, and performed the required services. We have used this company for years for our home and rental property. They may be slightly more expensive than others, but the customer service is worth it. We never feel that we are being taken advantage of. Wonderful company with excellent employees.

What they did was very inexpensive and reasonable. Their service staff was very knowledgeable and very conscientious.

We would recommend Donley Services, from start to finish. They did quality work with quality product. They worked, continually, until the job was done; didn't see them take a break! They put down plastic and floor mats to protect floors and in closet to protect our clothing. The air conditioner was for upstairs and had to be installed in the attic After they were done, they cleaned-up and vacuumed. They are very professional and may charge a little more, but you get what you pay for. So far we are very satisfied Wayne & Arden Greenholtz

We have a contract with them is twice a year for servicing. Service at this visit was excellent as always. When you purchase their service contracts any future service calls you automatically get a 10% discount on parts. You get bumped on the list if they are busy. They are very respectful and diligent with their customers who have contracts. I have never had a problem with them. They are prompt ot get out and deal with your problem. They are very respectful of your personal property, they use the disposal booties. They alwasy clean up after themeslves. I have never been left with a mess after them.

They are very reliable and we've used them for a very long time. They show up on time. Our experience with them are excellent. The price is fair.

Ironically, it was because of an attempted bait and switch on the install of a $13k AC system almost 10 years ago that we switched to Donley. For nearly 10 years they gave us excellent service on both of our houses. However today, we got conned. We wanted our AC moved into the yard because it was right beside the bedroom and made too much noise. The salesman who did the estimate thought that when we wanted our "air conditioner" moved, we only wanted one of the two identical compressors moved. He didn't try to upsell me on the offhand chance that the second compressor made as much noise as the first. Surprise, surprise, when I went out to inspect the work, I found I had paid $1200 to move only half the air conditioner. Sure enough, on the estimate, it listed only one compressor. I had to pay an additional $600 to get the other one moved. The salesman knew exactly what he was doing and didn't try to upsell me because they made more money through the misunderstanding. In the AC business, bait and switch is a time honored con job. Whoever Donley was before, they've changed. There are more honest companies out there these days. Stay away.

I was satisfied with their service. The arrived promptly and had qualified people that did good work.

They solved the problem for us. We are planning to use them again.

They are a family owned company. They are friendly, professional and reliable. The price was expensive, but they are fair.

Scheduling the appointment was easy and the technician arrived on time (plus called when he was 30 minutes away). Ruban repaired a clogged drain pipe and serviced the two heat pumps & air handlers. Our units are 16 years old and on the verge of needing replacement. He took pictures to show me some of the worn parts and we are starting to shop around for eventual replacements.

I like them because of their price, punctuality and they say what they do. They charged me $200 for that particular visit for plumbing services. I will use their services again in the future.

I was satisfied with my experiences with Donley Service Center. I would recommend them to others. I will continue to use them.
