Design Tree Maintenance sent out their estimator. He made a good evaluation taking into consideration my needs and requests. The pruners showed up and technically and professionally performed the "haircut" on the tree. All was hauled away and chipped. Wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

From my first contact with Design Tree to set up an appointment, then meeting with Ben who gave us good solid advice, to Andrew and Gina - everyone has been professional, caring, prompt and courteous. I also want to give a shout out to Pedro, who, as they were working, I was mowing and blowing off our backyard. He came with his awesome gas blower and finished off the blowing in a fraction of time that it would have taken me. He definitely went above and beyond. Thank so much!!!

They did an excellent job of trimming our trees and removing all the limbs, branches, and leaves from the trees. The guys were friendly and very professional.

Design Tree Maintenance did a fantastic job of removing two large willow acacias that were leaning precariously over our roof and also endangering our next door neighbor's house as well. They did the removals in an expert manner that avoided any mishaps to persons or property. They also trimmed another very large acacia for us and it looks beautiful. We have used Design Tree for tree services since 2001 and they have always done excellent work for us. They arrive on time, expertly do the work as contracted and there are no surprises when the bill arrives. And it is all done for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them for any tree services you might need.

We hired Design Tree Maintenance to trim two large trees in our yard in March 2019. One large mesquite and one large palo brea. Making the appointment was easy and the office staff were very friendly and accommodating to our schedule. Nick the Arborist came out and gave us an estimate, he was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We got a call the day before work was to be done to confirm arrival time. The crew arrived promptly and were professional and friendly. They did an excellent job trimming back the trees. They also did an excellent job on clean up afterwards which I really appreciated. We should be all set for the monsoon season winds. We have used Design Tree Maintenance for many years and were pleased once again this year. They know how to trim trees properly and I highly recommend them.

Estimate was given based upon a current photo of the tree texted to the manager. When the team arrived to do the work, I was informed that the effort had been under bid and was more work than anticipated. The price increased from $200 to $300. Since this was my first Palm tree work, I paid the 33% increase in price. Next time I contract out any effort I will ensure the quote is FIRM first. Work was performed on time and they did a decent job. Clean up was excellent.

They were great. They removed a tall and wide pine tree from the front yard. They used a large crane to remove the tree and a machine to cut up the branches. They also removed a smaller tree. They cleaned up everything when they were done. They also came back to remove the stump. I will be using them again to remove some more trees. They are fully insured. I would highly recommend them.

We have used Design Tree Maintenance for years. In addition to the tree work this time, they dug up and re-graded a false rock stream to install drain pipe. Employees were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Left the project neat as a pin!

they came out on time. However they did not call me when they were on their way out. They trim my palm tree that looks really nice. But they trim my pyracantha bush way back too much. I had specifically told them on the phone and left a note on my gate about how much to trim it. They also trimmed my boanvia bushes when I did not ask them to. I was really unhappy with their services.

Excellent. The arborist, Ben, has assessed my trees annually and knows his stuff. Since having him work on my trees, I have not lost any more trees and he saved one that had the beginning of a bore infestation. They all look healthy and amazing. Rene and his crew did everything I asked in a polite and courteous way, as well as cleaned up beautifully after the job was done. I think this is the 6th year they have trimmed my trees and I love that when they are finished they don’t look ‘trimmed’ just beautifully shaped with nice ‘bird holes’ inside the crown that lets air pass through and protects them from monsoon winds. The deep root fertilization keeps them healthy and strong to fight off pests. They mulched my citrus as well to keep the roots cooler in the summer. There are cheaper jobs out there...just look for the trees that are topped and look like they have been amputated. My trees are precious to me in sunny Arizona for their shade and the privacy they provide from my neighbors.

We spoke with several vendors to get bids to trim several mesquites, several palo blancos, a palo verde, plus a few other smaller trees. We also wanted to remove two trees, having them replaced with other trees. In all cases, we were only getting bids from companies with certified arborists. Nick T. from Design Tree Maintenance (DTM) was able to see us very quickly. He was very knowledgeable and very thorough, explaining the process and the best ways to maintain healthy trees. However, to be honest, I will say that Nick can be a bit "salesy". After getting the other bids, we decided to go with DTM even though they were not the lowest bid. DTM was able to accommodate our schedule, ability to provide a warranty on the new trees, and we felt comfortable with Nick. The trimming and planting crews were outstanding. The teams (Melvin was the lead) were very efficient, clean, and easy to work with. And, we are pleased to say that the trees look excellent. I dropped DTM to "B" on price since they were one of the higher bids and I dropped them to a "B" on professionalism because we did have to get the crew out a second time since we did not believe a few of the trees were trimmed quite enough the first time. But, all in all, I would highly recommend Nick and the DTM team!

I had an Ash tree removed. Tree Design Maintenance did a fantastic job. The Arborist that came to give me my estimate was very knowledgeable and informative. The team that came to remove the tree did a fantastic job, they were punctual, extremely efficient, and cleaned up leaving my yard better than they found it. I also had a citrus tree resized and I was blown away by the results. It is clear that these are professionals that take their jobs seriously. Would definitely hire again and recommend to those looking for a skilled team to handle your tree needs.

Workers arrive on time and ready to remove tree and associated debris. Work proceed in a timely and professional manner. This involved climbing tree , use of ropes and chainsaws. Actions were deliberate and done with skill. Area was cleaned and raked leaving only some saw dust in the grass. This took the better part of a day. The stump grinding was done the next day and executed in the same manner. It should be noted the tree was in a space that was bordered by a fence and a wall. Neither was damaged!

We had an approx 40 foot palm tree that really needed to be removed. Nick from Design Tree Maintenance came out to give me a price on the removal and his guys were out the very next morning removing it. They did an excellent job and it took them 1.5 hours to remove the palm tree. They cleaned up and removed all the debris. I would definitely hire them again.

Trees were taken out and handled professionally. Rehired to look at my tree under attack by bugs, they helped fix it, tree is alive and well.

Nick and his team did a great job, he spent a decent amount of time during his consultation stop to fully understand our concerns. Even offered advice on side items, he really knows his trade. We had three trees blooming giving my wife severe allergic reactions. Reactions that were causing her to have breathing problems and reactions to foods. The trees were removed including stumps. It looks like the offending trees were never there. His team was equally effective and professional. When the team cut the branches they carried, not dragged, them to the chipper. Not to mention they were fast, they took down three trees (25 to 35 feet) down in about an hour. They were fantastic. Thank you to Nick and his team.

A 3-man team arrived on-time and proceeded to trim my two large mesquite trees in the backyard. In total, they spent about three hours on the project. The trimming looks great and they did a nice job of cleaning up after they were done.

It started well. They came out and gave an estimate and did the work the following day. However a week and a half later, the places where the branches were cut were not treated and sap is pouring out making a huge mess that will then be tracked in the house. We called Wednesday and they said they were going to come out Thursday and look at it.. We told them the house was going to be listed Friday and it needed to be done by Friday noon. Unfortunately no one showed up and it is still a mess. They just called us back and said they could send some one out on Friday night for $500 as an emergency charge (despite them being told of the problem on Wednesday.) Needless to say we aren't paying this fee and are left to ourselves. We wish we hired a different company.

We have used them for years at both of our properties. They have been fabulous. We are going to bring them back in for landscape lighting. It was an expensive, big project, so we wanted it done. This is not the first job with us. This is one of many over 15 years. I keep going back for their customer service and quality guarantee. In the past, we have had an issue and they came back and made it right.

The only issue we had was the stump grinder would not fit through our gate so the stump had to be cut below grade by hand. It took a couple of trys to get that completed.

Have used them before and was satisfied with the service. This time was a mess. Billed me before work was started/completed. Right-hand didn't know what the Left-hand was doing. Disconnect between the back-office, dispatching and crews. All around mess, and still trying to straighten it out.

They showed up the day selected and came back to take of some minor items.

Extremely well. Very pleased with the work.
