Description of Work: I used Desert Mountain Electric LLC. They ran some electric to the garage so I could put some lights out.

Description of Work: Project was to replace track lighting in kitchen with brighter lighting. They kept in touch about the arrival time. It had to be pushed back and they called twice to keep us updated. The removal of the old track lighting and the installation of 3 new lights went smoothly. There was no mess to clean up. A small hole in the ceiling where the tracking lighting was needs to be repaired. They had told us that no dry walling would take place. We were okay with that. Electrician was very friendly and professional.

Description of Work: Installed 5 feet of conduit & hung a chandelier. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!! He charged 9.3% sales tax on his labor as well. OUTRAGEOUS!!! Watching this guy work was like watching paint dry..SLOW and laborious. Would NEVER hire them again or recommend them. I felt VERY ripped off. The guy was 20-25 minutes late but charged me from his scheduled start time. Only good thing was quality work.

Description of Work: They were told up front that the location of the pendant light was 18'-20' high. They came and did not have the right size ladder and had to reschedule. I had to reschedule twice because their truck with the right size ladder was still being repaired. Whey they did come they were over an hour and a half late and I had to call their office repeatedly to get a status on whether or not they were still coming. Horrible customer service. However, the two gentlemen that came were nice and did the job requested.

Description of Work: John Barrett should get a Nobel Peace Prize for electricians. He was incredibly polite, a very nice person. Went way above and beyond. It was a pretty mundane thing, I just needed a circuit breaker installed. He was saying "You can't do this without doing that, but you don't want to do that because this is too expensive, so you should just do that." He even drove to Home Depot to get another part, but the price stayed the same. I talked to him about his life and his kids. He was just a real gentleman. He fixed everything and gave me various options. He was very straight, very credible, very expert - that was obvious, and he told me what he was doing as he was doing it.

Description of Work: I signed up to have light fixture changed to CAN -- $99 conversion deal. Contractor came out and looked at light and said it was $99 to do the work and an additional $90 for the can -- for the $99 you had to have an existing CAN and my existing fixture was a fluorescent light. I declined to have the work done. The guy from Desert Mountain Electric was very professional and very nice. I had no problems with them just wasn't prepared to pay an additional $90. /

Description of Work: Installed four 6" ceiling light cans, associated dimmer switch and an electrical outlet. They were prompt, very professional and vacuumed all work areas at the end of their installation. I was impressed.

Description of Work: Purchased Angie's deal-2 hrs labor for $99. Installed a new electrical outlet. Found problem with outdoor light fixture and got it operational. Troubleshooting for loose connection in under cabinet lighting. |Pleased with the service. Punctual and courteous. Took care to protect my flooring and limit drywall damage. Thoroughly cleaned work area. |Will have them back. Asked them to provide me with estimates for future work before they left. Competitive and fair pricing. |

Description of Work: They helped me fix a GFCI fault that I could not fix myself, and were fast, friendly, and most importantly, informative on how to fix/address the issue. I was very impressed and would use them again should the need arise.
