Troy and JAY came out and installed a new panel. Everything went great

Troy, the owner of Desert Mountain Lighting, is an excellent electrician. He pointed out to us the upfront expense of LED lighting offset by the lower operating costs etc. He did a very good job of cleaning up after he completed the job. We recommend him to any that needs electrical done.

When I called the provider on Thursday he was apparently out in the field but indicated that he would be in touch the following day. The following day, Friday, I received a message on Angie's List site that he would call around 5:00pm Saturday. When I did not hear from him on Saturday I made arrangements for someone else to do the work. He called on Sunday to apologize - he said he had been unable to retrieve my telephone number from Angie's list because the system had been down.

Scheduled very soon after purchasing the Deal, which was helpful for me as we are in the middle of other remodeling projects as well. Some confusion their end when Troy showed up on the wrong day, but was very pleasant and the reschedule worked better for my schedule anyway. John did the install, is a very pleasant guy, was conscientious about the potential mess of opening up drywall and having insulation coming into living room. He was very good about showing me options, giving me his opinion but wanting my decision to be what I wanted. Lights look great and the room looks better overall. My suggestion to all of us buying Deals is not only to read the fine print, but read between the lines of what is not in the fine print...I wrongly assumed the Deal was LED lights. I stuck with the incandescent lights due to budget constraints once John explained what the Deal included. He did not upsell the LED's just explained the options and offered to install one to show me the lighting difference.

I did not use this person as I thought that $100 per hour was a bit excessive for installing a timer switch for front lites - I had already bought the switch. I am a older person - the only reason I did not do it myself, is that I was afraid. I know there is someone out there who will do it for less- does not seem to be a difficult situation - Maybe I am wrong!! I understand his cost.

Using the Big Deal, I purchased 4 recessed light installation, and after he arrived I asked to move a light switch over to another inside wall. Everything went as good as expected, there was an issue with where we expected to put the lights because of the rafters but that's not anyone's fault. Great job, great communication and I'd use this company again.

AWESOME! Troy & John were excellent. Troy & I spent quite a bit of time evaluating LED light colors with the interior colors to make sure we had the right color lighting. Both Troy and John are very helpful with the aesthetic part of the lighting as well as the technical installation, which was very important to me. I wanted to replace my under cabinet lighting in the kitchen with LED strip lights and John told me not to do it because with a shiny granite counter you will get a reflected row of dots that looks like a runway! I was so thankful for that information, because that would be awful. They went above and beyond on the whole job. I would definitely recommend them!!!!! Called them again today to have them come back for exterior lighting/electrical.
