I purchased a Coupon for $349 for four recessed can lights and switch. The service provider was very friendly, called and scheduled the service within 10 days. He talked me into upgrading the four lights to the LED lights with a dimmer switch for an additional $271.25. I am very happy that I made that decision; love the dimmer switch. I had asked to have the four recessed lights evenly spaced around my Master Bedroom ceiling fan (with the ceiling fan being in the center). I assume that this is what most people would do. Unfortunately, after the provider cut the four holes and installed the lighting, I could immediately tell the lights where off. I took a piece of string and ran it from one can light horizontally across the room to the other can light. I did this for all four lights. The ceiling fan was not even close to being in the path of where the strings crossed! The fan was about two feet closer to one set of the recessed lights than the other set. I text the provider a picture of how far off the ceiling fan was from the center point where the strings crossed, and told him that I was disappointed because I had asked for them to be installed evenly around the ceiling fan. Now the ceiling fan stuck out like a sore thumb because it was two feet closer to the lights on one side of the room. He offered to come back at a later date and move my ceiling fan. It took a few weeks, but he did return and move my ceiling fan. Unfortunately, I had to contact a drywall company to come and patch the hole in my ceiling, texture, and paint. It was either move my ceiling fan to be evenly centered with the four recessed lights, or I would have had to move two of the can lights and that would have just resulted in two patches, texturing and paint. I would still recommend this provider, I think I would just watch a little closer next time or mark out on the ceilings where you would like your lights installed.

I was really happy with Desert Mountain Electric's performance. The repairs were quick and easy. It made me wish I'd done this much sooner.

No one showed up on the 6th so I called. They claimed I never rescheduled. Mutually agreed to a refund.

Work went smoothly. Troy was very experienced and knew what he was doing, very professional in his work.

Everything went great from scheduling the appointment through the end of the appointment. Troy arrived on time. Was very friendly and professional. He answered all of our questions. You can tell he knew what he was talking about and wanted to help. While up in the attic he noticed an issue with our insulation and let us know just to be nice. We appreciated that. He also suggested something else for us to do in the future for safety purposes since our house is old and has aluminum wiring. He was not trying to sell anything just letting us know since it can be a safety hazard. When up in the attic he determined he would be able to install an outlet underneath the patio but it was a bit more complex and will require 2 men. So, we will definitely call them back when ready to do that or any other electrical needs.

The service went fine. They installed 3 light fixtures. I paid additional for the parts which I already knew I would have to do. The extra fee was reasonable. I liked the fact that they came out on time as promised and there were no hidden costs. They completed the job within the time frame promised. They came out to give us a free estimate to make sure everything was fine and scheduling was very easy.

My experience with them was fine. There were no additional charges other than the Big Deal. There was only one gentleman who came to do the job. He was very cooperative, helpful and prompt. The quality of work was very good. He answered my questions and gave me information that I needed. He was pretty quick and finished the job within the time frame I had.

Desert Mountain Electric was late to the time they said they would arrive, but that was not in the installer's control. Their office did call and notify me that he would be a few minuets late. Once he arrived he surveyed the work that I explained, he went to a home improvement store to purchase the electrical parts that were required and did the installation very professionally. He completed the project well within the time that I had purchased (two hours).

Everything went well. Originally, we wanted some work done to install pendant lamps over an island, but this work could not be done because of some carpentry issues that we have to resolve. Our electrician arrived on time and did a great job. I cannot recall our tech's name, but would definitely use this company again.

Troy from Desert Mountain had been on 4-24-2014 to give us a time estimate on the work to be done as we were buying a special deal coupon. He was on time, friendly and went over all the steps required to get the job done which was to replace 2 pockets lights, check on why they were shorting out, and wiring and hanging new pendants over our island. He was punctual and friendly, The work done was excellent and we were advised as he went along on why and what a peculiar situation entailed to get the job done right. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Prompt arrival, good communication. Very happy with the install and the service provider. Used an Angie's list 2 hour special to accomplish the job, which was done in about 90 minutes.

They arrived on time, were very professional. They went right to work and had the job done in a short time. The fans and the light look great and work perfectly. I was very happy with their work, and I will use this company in the future, I will also tell my friends because I thought they were that good!!!

We loved it and had him come back out to do more work for us. Troy came out both times and we really liked him. The lighting has made such a difference in house.

The worker was nice but the location above the stairs required special ladders, and additional cost that I was not willing to pay.

Will the technician was very fast and made sure that everything work properly. I have rescheduled some more work to be done on Mon. April the 21st and will keep using this company.

The installer was prompt on his first visit but we had to reschedule because his ladder wasn't tall enough for my 14 foot vaulted ceiling. I told the scheduler on the phone that I had 14 foot ceilings when I called to set the appointment but it was missed in her notes. It took another two weeks to get him back out. Once again the installer was prompt and on time. He did very well with the work and did in within the two hours that I had purchased with the coupon. The additional charge was for parts. I would recommend these guys again, just make it clear if you have ceilings higher than 10 feet. They will need to bring a bigger ladder.
