Technician called 30 minutes before arriving as requested and was exactly on time for the appointment as booked (7am). He checked the unit and discovered the light control box was no longer working. He attempted to track down a replacement control box but found that due to the age of the unit the part was no longer available. He removed the entire unit from the ceiling and capped the wires, until I could purchase a replacement fixture. He recommended an few outlets that provide ceiling light/fan combinations at very competitive prices and assured me he would return to install the new unit as soon as I was ready. Overall I was very satisfied with the service from Desert Mountain Electric and their tech, John.

Things went fine. The only thing I found a little odd is that you do not receive a receipt at time of the job being completed, but the email it to you later. I was trying to use a Big Deal with them and didn't know that wasn't applied until after the fact. Everything was straightened out in the long run, so no trouble.

Unfortunately there must have been a miscommunication with the receptionist about the date of the originally scheduled appointment, which I believed to be on a Thursday, but I guess was mistakenly made for Friday. I might recommend doing confirmation calls or emails to avoid this type of thing- would have preferred not to spend my day off waiting for someone who wasn't coming. Had to reschedule for the following week. Regardless, it was a good experience over all and I will be using them again. John was on time, professional and quick at his work. Took advantage of the 2hrs for 99$ Angie's deal and had to pay just over $50 additional for parts. I was a little worried when he told me he had to go to Home Depot for the parts because this is the only place he has an account- the nearest one is nearly 30 minutes away and it sounded like I would have been charged for the time. Thankfully, he took my advice and ran to the Ace around the corner, so it was a non-issue. My only other recommendation to improve the service would be to suggest that they be prepared to repair any dry wall damage. A few holes had to be drilled into the ceiling and were left that way. We are getting ready to do a bunch of painting so we can take care of it ourselves, but would be nice to have them go the extra mile

It was fine. They did a good job. They were here on time and they did the work within the timeliness.

The appt was scheduled within 2 business days of our call. The electrican called twice to update his arrival time. The work was done quickly. He put down plastic to catch the dust, made minimum cuts in the wallboard, and cleaned up everything when he was finished.

Miguel was professional and efficient. He was here for less than an hour. I also asked him some questions about my low voltage lighting and although he doesn't work on low voltage systems, he explained how the mechanism works. He was very patient.

The gentlemen was on time. He was very thorough. He was very expedient but methodical in his work.

He showed up on time, actually a little early. I had purchased fans three of the four rooms and he moved one from one room to another. He worked quickly, even though it took more than the two hours that I had purchased on a "hot deal". One room needed an additional support, one needed a different light switch. He had the materials in his van and I don't think there was a huge markup for the convenience. He finished up just before he was about to go into the third hour, cutting cost down. The only little issue was because of that, there were a few wire remnants on the carpet but that is totally excusable.

I made the arrangements for my parents to hire an Electrician. The reviews on Angie's list were good for Desert Mountain Electric. I left a voice mail describing the service request needed. My phone call was promptly returned and I and my mother spoke with the office manager regarding what services were required. The office manager was very pleasant and told my mother she needed to purchase the alarms and they would install them. My mom purchased the alarms the following day and contacted Desert Mountain Electric. She left a voice mail and her call was promptly returned and she was able to get an appointment for the following day. The electrician showed on time. Was very courteous to my parents. He answered their questions and completed the job for $89.00. My parents would use them again and because of my experience in speaking with Desert Mountain Electric and how they treated my parents I would use them for myself and recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you Desert Mountain Electric for taking such good care of my parents.

Miguel arrived on time and was very professional. Explained the installation of the 3 LED can lights in the kitchen. Decided to update all can lights in the house. The installations were done in a reasonable length of time and cleaned up easily since he did not make a mess. I was very impressed with Miguel and will call Desert Mountain Electric and ask for Miguel for some future electrical needs that we discussed.

Even though this deal ended up not working out for us, the company was very courteous, professional, and informed us of the correct steps we needed to take in order to get a refund.

Two guys showed up, one was a trainee, got to work right away and had the timer put into the wall plate and set. Very nice guys.

Very well! Our electrician was very pleasant and extremely competent. He also took time to explain what he was doing when asked.

Absolutely fabulous from the moment of contact until Trip left. A great experience. I called mid-morning to ask for service since we had lost all of the lights in part of our house. The gal was going to schedule us for tomorrow and when I asked if there was any chance for today, she said "let me make a call and I'll get right back to you". She did indeed. Probably in less than 3 minutes she called me back and got us scheduled for today. I received three calls from the Electricians asking for advance information so that they came prepared. The first Electrician was held up at another job so right away another one called me and said he was on his way. He showed up about 30 minutes later which is exactly what he said he would do. He worked very hard unplugging everything (and that was alot) to finally determine that we had a lamp that had a short in it. Trip was fantastic and he was good to our dog too. Very personable man, showed how much he cared about delivering great service and did a wonderful job. Any other electrical work that we need done I would call Desert Mountain immediately. I'm so sorry that the person that posted before me had a bad experience because this is a great company judging from my experience. And the price was unbelievable. I didn't prepurchase any of their "deals" because I wasn't sure what I needed. So they honored the one hour for $69 which was very gracious of them. Saved me a bit of money and gave me an overall A++ experience. Don't hesitate to call them if you need electrical work done.

As usual, he was on time. Very professional and in little time <45 minutes completed the task perfectly. His performance was in keeping with my prior excellent experience with this person and the company.

This was by far one of the best contractor experiences I have ever had. Miguel (sp?) was the technician and he was excellent. He took care to put down plastic everywhere he worked to avoid a mess. He cleaned up after every repair. In replacing the doorbell, he went above and beyond to make sure it was sealed and snug when I am sure other contractors would have left it up to the home owner. Miguel made sure that everything that needed to be done was done right. He replaced the outlet covers with improved and better covers and replaced the switch of the pantry light which he noticed was not working properly. I don't think it could have gone better. In repairing the doorbell, he brought two different types for me to choose; nice! NOTE - This repair was part of an Angie's List special offer $99 for two hours of labor which is reflected in the above cost.

It went fine. As promised, the removal of the tube fixtures exposure of the recessed area created a need for drywall work. They did provide me a name and number of someone who did drywall work, but he missed two appointments to come over and I instead used a most satisfactory Angie's list provider for that task.

My technician, John, from Desert Mountain was great. He was on time, he called first, he fixed all the problems and was personable and helpful even when he had to locate a hard to find can part and return another day to finish. I feel he went above and beyond for me, to get the job done right.

It worked out okay. It was awesome! They were very nice and there were no issues. They even waited because I had to go run and get something. They were very accommodating.

The service man Miguel did an excellent job. He was on time and completed the job we wanted done. he was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. We are thinking about additional electrical work and his company sent us a bid quickly. I would rehire for my next electrical job

Chip was very professional and competent. He offered a better solution to what I wanted and made it happen. He took care not to damage the wall where I needed a cut-out in order to drill a wall cap. That made my repair easier for me. He wired up a switched receptacle and I finished up wiring two recessed lights to complete the job. The whole process went very smoothly. Only downside to the day was that my 14 year old cat died suddenly four hours later, so the day will always be marred by her passing.
