John telephoned to see if he might come early and that was fine with me. Very pleasant and took the time to get to know my dog, so I didn't have to put my baby outside in the mid-day heat. Was not offended by my wanting to observe and ask questions. No issue with his competence, I just like to learn about all aspects of home maintenance. Completed the work within 2 hours and then gave me a very reasonable estimate for installing can lights in the kitchen. Very pleasant, satisfying service. I will be calling them back to do the kitchen, when it cools off enough to work comfortably in the attic Thank you Desert Mountain Electric!

The Installer arrived on time for the scheduled day of service and easily did the installation of 2 cieling lights and dimmer switch within the 2 hour time frame alloted for the $99 special. In fact ,it took him less than 1 1/2 hours --and that included having to go up in the attic to run the electric! And he cleaned up after the job with a Shop Vac. The installer was super nice and a very efficient worker. I will definitely use this company again for any future electrical work.

Electrician showed up on time. Took out the old lights, installed the new ones, and replaced the switch with a dimmer. Job was done quick and professionally.

I suggested two places to pull power from to the electrician, but he was more observant and noticed the doorbell transformer was just above where I needed the receptacle and pulled it from there. Perfect almost, turned out there was a fire break right below it, so once he got through that it was easy. Great job. I've hired Desert Mountain several times before and always had the same good experience.

had to stay extra time, a alarm went off and he had to help us disarm it;;;; and I had to run out for a part for the fan I had a couple other questions for additional work, but felt he was unsure about how difficult it would be; had another electrician in and he found easy solution to the other issues.

Tripp was my electrician today. He was prompt and personable. I explained my concerns re: one of my low voltage transformers. He tested the transformer and checked the two other transformers and evaluated the system which took a bit of time and he was very thorough determining which transformer controlled what. This is a fairly new property for us and this is the third time that I have used this provider since March. This service call was to evaluate my low-voltage outside lighting and I took advantage of their outdoor lighting evaluation deal. Previously I bought a two hour deal and a one hour deal. The first time they came out when the house was brand new to us I had them replace an outlet, run wiring to an outdoor tv which was somewhat complicated due to the location, and a check a couple of other switches etc The work was done extremely efficiently and I thought that they would only have time to run the wiring and put a new outlet in for the tv but they had time to check other things as well The wiring for the exterior TV involved cutting through some drywall and stucco and they were meticulous about the clean up and tried to create an easily patchable hole for the drywaller. I was impressed. The second time I had Desert Mountain Electric come out I was unsure if I had a pool problem or a breaker problem related to my pool equipment. Jay the owner determined that it was an issue with the motor that was tripping the breaker and showed me exactly what it was doing. I have had 3 different Electricians including the owner Jay and all have been top notch. I have been lucky enough to get a variety of the 'deals' here on Angie's list. But I consider Desert Mountain Electric my electricians now. They are efficient, work cleanly, are knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. They provide a written estimate if you inquire about additional work emailed immediately to you which I really like. Three different service calls and three different electricians each one competent, friendly and helpful. I feel confident that when I request service from this company I will be rewarded with professional service every time.

Everything went well. They provided what they promised. There's some additional work. all at a reasonable price. I didn't have to pay more than the "Big Deal" I purchased. They were very good. They did everything that we expected. They did a good job. It was a reasonable price. They were on time.

After several emails and phone calls, we settled on a specific day and time. I received a call several days before the appointed time saying that they had a open time slot and would that be acceptable to me. I said yes and the tech (John) arrived exactly when he said that he would. That always impresses me!!! He completed the work well with in the hour's time that I paid for. He was very polite, friendly and professional. I will definitely use this company again when I have electrical needs and will certainly recommend them.

Showed up on time, looked over the job then he went out to get the needed parts. Ran the cable and installation was done to code. Only one very minor hole in drywall (told us up from it would happen and let us know that he doesn't do repair on drywall) They were not the cheapest. About $120 - $150 more than others. I went with them due to their rating here and, as far as I am concerned, it was worth the extra money. Overall looks fantastic.

Desert Mountain was exceedingly prompt in arriving at my home. The problem was quickly diagnosed and fixed. I felt that the contractor took the necessary time in diagnosing the problem and fixed it at an extremely reasonable price. I would not hesitate in calling on this company again.

The work went fine. I purchased a deal for 2 hours of labor for $99 and felt that the amount of work I had would fall into that time frame. In communicating with them prior to the appointment I asked if I should go out and purchase the switches and cover plates and they said no that they carried them on their truck. When he got here he told me that he would have to go purchase them and would be back. After the installation he told me that I owed $339 for the switches and one outlet and three covers. When I asked to see the receipt for the materials he purchased he told me that they were billed to the business and he didn't have a receipt to show me. So I went online to see what these items cost and I came up with $185. I felt that the mark up on the products was high and that I should have been able to purchase my own as I did with the light fixture. There was also no cleanup after he was done. I had to pick up trash and vacuum after he left.

Jay Clark was very efficient he did a great job. The only problem I had is when I called and asked if I should do the one hour deal or the two hour deal I was told to do the two hour. Jay took all of 15 minutes to install the outlet so I wasted 20 dollars getting the two hour deal.

It was alright but I had him do some other works like putting in the floor mount, floor box in the living room, they only did so-so on that. But the other one's alright. When they did the concrete work, it's not the prettiest thing in the world. My interactions are good with them. I got electricity in the floor mount, it's just kind of cock-eyed, that's all. They came when they said, no problem. Maybe I will use them again.

Had to change appt. time twice because of closing dates on condo. They were excellent to work with on date and time change. Electrician was very professional and fixture had a few problems with lack of room for wires in fixture but worked to make sure it was secure. so it took extra time. Would definitely use again.

It went very well. He came out and did an initial assessment that I used an Angie's List deal for. And then after the mini split had been installed he came and hooked up the electrical line. He was professional, arrived on time and had the work done quickly.

Excellent, very clean professional and knew exactly what to do.

The serviceman showed up well after the appointment.I requested the service to look at GFI outlets. The serviceman arrived in his private vehicle because, he said, the service truck broke down; therefore he had no tools to test the GFI. He, basically, had no tools to do anything. So he wasted some time and finally installed a fan. What a waste of money.

He arrived on time; called to see if he could come earlier than scheduled...He spent additional time troubleshooting the problem. Professional and courteous but also personable. When an electrical issue concerned after he left, he was back the next day to remedy the problem. Great.......company....

Very satisfied. The service man was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and willing to spend the extra time to make sure the trouble shooting of the issues in the front yard was thorough and accurate. I would definitely use them again.

The technician was on time & very friendly. I failed to get him exact measurements of my living room ceiling height for one of the ceiling fan installations but he bravely gave it a try with his ladder and was able to install it with little trouble. Had I provided him with the correct information he would have arranged for some scaffolding instead so I felt a bit bad about that and greatly appreciated his effort. It's been 6 months since the install & not sure why that fan changes speeds & the light turns on & off without me flipping the switch or using the remote so I may have to call them again. The next ceiling fan was a bit of a challenge to balance properly but he took his time & now that ceiling fan is extremely quiet & the downrod is perfectly still. The light fixture in the spare room was easy for him & took him no time to install. On his way out he even changed a light bulb located on a spotlight high above. You can't beat $99 for 2 hours of work. Lowes & Home Depot charge about $75-100 for one ceiling fan installation.

Unfortunately i forgot the installers name, but he was very efficient, knowledgeable, neat and quick. All the unnecessary spare parts from the new fans were returned to the cartons that they came from. The old fans loose parts were near the old fans. And the new fans operate perfectly, no shaking or noise.

Tripp was the electrician who not only did this job but a second job that i hired the company to do because the work he did was so great. He has great customer skills, is an expert electrician and i would hire them again in an instant.

All went well. Price was competitive and service level high. Would use again.

Great service, great work I was very happy. John was professional and punctual. He gave me good advice about the type of lighting to use, etc.. I will use this company again!
