This was a big deal purchase. They did not put in the chandelier because he thought it was too heavy. There was other stuff he was going to do at the same time so he applied the big deal money to other work he was going to do. He did all the rest of the stuff that I had requested. They did not respond to my request for an appointment I made on their website. So then I had to call them the next week. I had used them once before and I asked that the same person come out to do the work, and he did. I think the thing that wasn't good was that they didn't respond. And I called the office, like, the next week. So I told them about that. They said they only had one person in the office. They said to email them to set an appointment and I did, but I wonder if I hadn't called would they have called back at all. In the past they put ceiling lights in the kitchen. He did a good job on that. He was here for about three or four hours. He stayed longer and did other stuff. There were a couple of little glitches. They are always transparent on what they charge. I think it is, like, $99 per hour. I would say their pricing is in the realm of what other people charge. I also had them back for something else and they sent a different person, but that was alright. He came exactly when he said he was or something like that, but he called me about 20 minutes in advance. They are focused on their their work, do it and then leave.

This was an Angie's List Ceiling Fan Installation. We purchased the fan from Home Depot to replace an old one. We were told to leave the fan in the box. The installer was on-time, quick and did a great job.

John called to let me know when he would arrive, and he was right on time. He checked all connections in the breaker box, tightened all of them and said that should do it. Since their service performed in August, 2015 meant this call was still under warranty, this service call was at no charge!

Once I purchased the deal, I made contact and requested a specific date a couple weeks out. I received a response within 24 hours and got the date I wanted. My electrician called just as he made entrance to property, he was very professional and polite, and arrived right on time. I would recommend Desert Mountain Electric and would use their services again. Thanks again to Jay- I love my new lights!

Work went well. Angie's List sent my desired dates and time for me when I ordered. Email from Angie's List said Desert Mountain would get in touch with me but they never did so Called them on 06.02.16. They did not have my order. Finally after their searching she found it. My first priority was on 06.0316 but Desert Mountain had to schedule me for 06.06.16

First a plug on the end of my kitchen island went out. Then my garbage disposal started to work only when it wanted to and, finally my dishwasher stopped working. I discovered that when rummaging around under sink, sometimes things would work. I looked on Angies and this company I had used before was running a deal. They came very quickly and solved the problem. I had a short in the plug under the sink that all these things depended on. They rewired and grounded the plug and things are working perfectly. These guys are great!

They were very professional and punctual. They cleaned up after themselves as well.

I have tried contacting them several times by phone and by email and no one ever contacted me back. I asked Angie's List for a refund.

John came out and did an excellent job. He called twenty minutes prior to arriving, arrived on time, was efficient, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. This is second time I used Desert Mountain and would definitely have them back again. I love their Angie List specials! The owner confirms appointment a day ahead via email. Nice!

I asked this provider to put in a vent fan in the attic. He came out and went up to the attic and advised me that the area he needed to go into is fire walled off and it's an addition. I then had another provider come out to install some insulation and they stated that although there is a wall, he had no problem getting in to the area. I had used them another time, and they advised me that due to the heat they would have to do work at 3:00 a.m. which just didn't make sense to me.

Overall fine. The electrician was polite, on time, did a good job. One less thing for us to worry about with the sale of our home. It was nice to be able to go to Angie's List and know that we would get a good deal, and quality service performed.

Excellent service. Initially had some difficulty communicating via the Angie's list messaging, but resolved quickly. Called ahead of time. Called when he was about to arrive. Excellent, professional job. I would definitely use again!

It did not go well. I liked Jay, the owner, who came out to bid the job. I liked how he said they would go about moving the panel. I even asked "no surprises?" and he said with confidence no surprises. Surprise! Wrong parts. We explained that we are adding an addition and the new load would require us to upgrade to a 200 amp 40 breaker box. They installed a 200 amp 20 breaker. My wife was the one who noticed but it had already been installed. They came back an added a 20 breaker sub panel. It works but not what we wanted or expected. The electricians, John and Miguel, worked hard and did a good job. They went above and beyond to do it right. Had the wrong parts not have been installed Desert Mountain would have got 5 stars. This whole project has been a nightmare anyway and we were happy to finally see some progress than Desert Mountain screwed up. Another disappointment. Can't anyone do it right the first time?

It was determined that the 1200W microwave was too much load for a 15A breaker when anything else on the circuit was turned on. Service tech provided estimate to run 20A dedicated circuit (I did some research and that is a valid recommendation) but we chose not to have the work done at this time. I have used them in the past and always trust their advice and strong recommend them.

Outstanding! John came out to my house on time and was very knowledgeable and addressed all of my issues. John was able to correct a wiring issue that past electricians could not.

Very responsive, showed up when they promised, completed the work quickly.

They came out on time, protected furniture as needed, professionally installed and tested the smoke alarms as requested. Will call them again in the future

So I put off for a month calling an electrician. Our living room outlets stopped working along with half of the kitchen outlets. I knew it would be excess of $1,000 and dreaded calling. Desert Mountain came in and did a great job. recognized the problem pretty quickly, changed out some burned out outlets that had or had not been pig tailed drawing too much current to the other outlets when high powered devices like the toaster oven was on in the kitchen. replaced 3 outlets and wired them correctly and diagnosed a couple of other things that we will address with Desert Mountain in the future. They were great.

It was excellent. My husband and I were very impressed with Logan and the professional and courteous manner in which he completed the work. Very, very well worth the money................
