We had 2 windows installed and a security door. The 2 windows that were installed were the 2 that get all day sun and they are very efficient as I have temperature sensors in those rooms and now maintain the rest of the house temperature to save money on cooling costs can't wait to do more windows so the house will be more efficient. Overall amazing customer service. Very friendly, not pushy was recommended from a friend great price can't go wrong with this company definitely will do more Business in the future.

Desert King was amazing! They have the best install team! Very professional knowledge kept us informed of what they were doing all the way through the installation process. Our door was beautiful we love it and we definitely would use Desert King again that's a very professional cost was amazing and the finished project was absolutely outstanding very very satisfied with desert king windows!

Their warranty is a joke. The replaced our patio door less than 3 years ago. We had the same opening for the prior patio doors and we started to notice water damage on our floor after installation. When we moved furniture, we noticed the casing and baseboard around the door were all rotted. I have been requesting service since June and someone was supposed to remove and re-install the door Saturday and they cancelled saying that it's a problem with the stucco surrounding which is impossible because there was never any problem with the 20 year old doors that were there before. This place is a joke. We just did an experiment spraying the doors and water just pours in when spraying the door and not getting any water on stucco which is their claim of the problem. It is not. Unfortunately, with this site, I can't show the video of 6 seconds of water, but if you are currently dealing with this company, please contact me and I will send it because the water just pours in.

Going on 5 days. Waiting on one window being installed. Some caulking done but badly because there are gaps. Some Windows don't even have caulking. The Windows I order were not the Windows installed. One Windows was obviously to small to they tried to spay foam it in but left finger size holes. My back sliding glass door does not lock. I have called 4 times and still nothing. By ignoring me, it's obvious they don't want to fix my window issues. I'm not happy and I will never recommend!

Didn't hire, I was told by another company that if I had holes drilled in my vinyl that it would cancel out my warranty on my new windows. I purchased a new house and not one company advised me of this. For right now I won't be adding solar screens.

After getting quotes from several companies, we chose this company for: Highest quality Best insulating value Exactness on measuring and appointment times. We are extremely happy with the windows. They are beautiful solid and the quality of light that enters our home with out the heat took us by surprise. We made the right decision using Desert King Windows

Fabulous, Ron is wonderful to talk to and always returns my phone calls quickly. Any questions we have we can call day or night, We really enjoyed doing busines with him and the crew that came to do the install. We had 3 other companies out first and Desert King were definitely the kind of people we wanted to work with. It's a family run business and that was important to us as well. Ron and Victoria were a pleasure to deal with.

Recently had our new Amerimax windows installed by two teams - Dave & Donovan and Matt & Tanner. It was a two day install hence the two teams. Both days everyone worked hard, cleaned up at the end of the day and were very polite and respectful. No music was played, no smoking on the property, they chatted with us and amongst themselves. We met Desert King at the Phoenix Home Show in Glendale this year. Our salesperson, Dan, was knowledgeable, punctual, respectful and honest. He was GREAT!!! We did thorough research on Desert King, checked ROC, researched Amerimax windows, looked at reviews for Desert King on several websites, asked for addresses of installs (which they gave) and referrals of installs that were over 5 years old (which they did) and I drove by all the houses to see completed and current installs and contacted the referrals, which spoke very highly of this company. Desert King scheduled a measurement and the crew arrived on time (I am a stickler for punctuality). They received our windows in when they said they would and scheduled an install date straight away. Another great thing is they do not take a down payment, payment is made when they are done. The only hiccup we had was on the first day of install one of the installers could not make it do to a medical situation but the company did not have anyone else to come out and start. At first they were going to split the install between a Tues and a Sat. We did not want that. In the end they were able to schedule us for back to back install days. Thank you Jayson! Overall EVERYONE, from sales person to installers to owners, was VERY EASY to work with. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this company. As far as the windows we fell in love with them before they were installed. I expect no issues with them whatsoever and even if something does happen I know Desert King will be there to take care of any issues. THANK YOU DAN, MATT, TANNER, MIKE, DONOVAN, RON AND JAYSON!!!

The response was immediate from the company regarding when they could come out and give a bid. I received an email and they did read the times I could meet. However they did not show until after I called. Eventually showed and gave us a very good bid; HOA requirements prevented us from going with them.

I was on vacation when I called to request service. The scheduler worked us into the schedule so that I would not have to take a day off for service. Stan, the technician, arrived right on time. He adjusted and lubricated the rollers. He was very thorough and professional. When he was finished the door opened and closed with much less effort. In my opinion Desert King Windows are top notch.

Ron, the salesperson, was very professional and knowledgeable in providing a quote. His presentation was by far the best of the companies we interviewed. He provided a list of references for us to contact. The installers showed up on time and did the work efficiently. They disposed of the old windows and installed the new windows and door. They left the work area clean. The only problem was that the patio door was delivered with the wrong glass and wrong handle hardware... The installers went ahead and installed the door so we would have security. We called Ron and he confirmed the errors, ordered the proper glass and hardware, and then two weeks later the glass and hardware were replaced. We are very pleased with the appearance and performance of the the windows and doors.

They did a great job. They cleaned up well and removed all of the old stuff. The new windows look great and open easy. Super easy to clean. Double insulated as well!

They were prompt and finished the work in one day. The windows are great. There was a small hole in one of the screens, and it was replaced the next day. The sliding glass door is also very good, however, the security gate would not close after the sliding glass door was installed. I called them and was told a workman would be out the following day. He did come over the next day, but only to fix the damaged screen, he knew nothing about the door. Since the company is based in Phoenix, they usually only do repairs in Tucson one day a week, so it was a week before someone came out to look at the security gate/sliding glass door problem. I should mention that during the estimate process, the estimator looked at my existing sliding glass door and existing security gate and said that it would be no problem to install a new sliding glass door with the existing security gate. However, the people who came to fix the install problem did not know anything about security gates or how to fix the problem. The security gate would not close because its doorknob made contact with the new sliding glass door frame. So the workmen removed the doorknob on the gate, went to Lowe's, and replaced the doorknob with a lever type door handle. The box that this lever handle came in says "bed and bath" on the front, nothing about outside doors or security gates. It is a very tight fit (between the new sliding glass door frame and the existing security gate) to lock and unlock the deadbolt on the gate and turn the thumbnail lock on the lever handle. It takes both hands to do it and cannot be done at all quickly. I pointed this out but got no response. It was obvious they didn't know how to actually fix the problem but were doing their best to make it work, which it does, just not very well. I also pointed out that the sliding glass door was very hard to slide open or closed, but I got no response to that either. At that point, since it is possible to open, close and lock the door and gate, I decided that was as good as it was going to get. I would like to add that at one point during the process of having them come out to look at the security gate which would no longer close, the man I was talking to on the phone related a story about buying a new car and not having the car fit into the garage upon getting the car home, and that that situation would not be the fault of the car. I took that to mean that it was my fault that the sliding glass door and the security gate would not fit together, since I was the one who had purchased both. This company does great window work. However, I cannot recommend them if that work involves anything else.

Everyhting went according to the schedule set

They did a good job. If I refer somebody to them, I get $100 for the referral and a $100 for people who would listen to their pitch. They were upfront about it and I collected a $100 from them twice by referring other people. People don’t have to buy anything, they give them their pitch, and if they don’t buy, I still get the $100. So far, everything has been good. There is always something wrong when people do installs like that and they have come back twice for adjustments. I just need to call them about it and they would come out and take care of it. The lady that referred them to me, her dog ripped their screen and they fixed it for free. They are very service oriented. They are not cheap either. They were higher than the big box stores by quite a bit but I got quotes from other quality installers and they were $100 cheaper than the highest quote. I didn’t shop around that much. They were really good about being punctual.

They are a very professional company. They did a great job.

Very well, salesman was great as was installation crew. I received 4-5 quotes and they were right in the middle. This was a very worthwhile investment, our home is much quieter and better insulated now.

Chose to go with a different company

I felt comfortable speaking to their salesperson, and all of the work turned out fine. I did have an issue with one window, but they came right out to replace it. Also, I think they did a fair job cleaning up the work area.

They did an awesome job! All of the work was completed within one day, and their employees were very professional. I do think they were a little pricey, but I was happy with the service.

This company has great products and an excellent service. They were very honest, up front, and there were no surprises. They were timely, professional, and clean. I would certainly use them again.

I love my new windows and door! The only complaint I have is that some workers forgot to watch to their feet when walking in my home, so I had to clean up dirty carpet. That being said, they were very polite and easy to work with. Overall, I would certainly recommend Desert King Windows Co Inc to others. Also, I like that their salespeople aren’t too pushy.
