UPDATE The lower management team AWESOME, Love Brenda and her technicians however the General manager Jason Macias is APOS, extremely rude, unprofessional, loud and lacks decorum. 2 yrs ago I purchased $6-8k 4 ton AC unit, July 2023 they installed a burnt-out fuse to the AC disconnect $100+ at which time I was told everything else looks and working properly after testing the system.. Then today (30 days later)...fuse issue again and they quoted me $400+ for replacement of ac disconnect box installed. I questioned the cause, the bill and stated I would get a second opinion because it was suspicious!!! The tech calls his GM Jason M who's raising his voice while speaking to me saying that my warranty will be voided if anyone other then Delta services touch the unit and that I had voided the warranty by placing fuses into the ac box which I did as instructed by THEIR hired tech. Therefore a heated debated ensued which he began to talk loudly, disrespectfully, demanding with a harsh undertones to me. His lack of professionalism and decorum has changed my overall opinion and rating of this business. Although the manager and techs are awesome, he represents the DELTA company, therefore my MONEY and business will cease, all transactions outside of my warranty services. I had a State Of Arizona Licensed Electrician come and inspect my AC disconnect box and was told that the box was not the problem only the WIRING which was incorrectly and poorly done????? I'm not saying SCAM but use caution and get another opinion before rendering money for services. Maybe this is why the bad attitude $$$$ Brenda I have the MOST RESPECT for you and do apologize to you for this negative review. Money wasn't the main issue it was the continued piling of monies for added services that was being required...smh PLEASE SEEK 2ND OPINION ON SERVICES
Description of Work: AC unit fuse burn out second incident withinb30 day period. I only wanted an explanation of the required services and then sought a second opinion for confirmation..then it went left and all HELL broke out. My heater decided to die during the coldest week of the year. Delta Air was able to have a Tech out within a day. Aaron was prompt and spent time evaluating the unit and tried a few fixes. Unfortunately the unit was old and I ended up replacing the entire unit. I didn't want to risk the A/C unit failing in the middle of summer. Caleb and Juan performed the installation the next day and I had heat by noon. The installation was done professionally.

We were highly impressed with the staff and the manner in which they completed their tasks. Each person on the job took the time to introduce themselves and shake our hands. They were professional, and they took the time to explain things as well as the time to clean up after themselves. I'd highly recommend them!

Their service is very good. It is just that we had some bad experiences with them on the installation and everything. We ended up with a very good installation, but they just didn't follow up on anything. We were always calling them, trying to get things finalized and done. They just really irritated me. They did a good job of installation, but a very bad job of customer service. They have been very good this year, in fact, twice we have had one of the new units they installed cease working in this Arizona heat of 110 degrees I called them and they were out, like, within two hours and repaired it so it was excellent response both times.

I called them like at 9:00 in the morning because the unit had stopped working and they were here by 11:00 and had it resolved. About five weeks ago it was the same way. I called them and they were out within like three hours and had everything working within an hour or two. There was no cost, because I'm under a service policy.

They did a good job on the installation of the units, but almost two months later and I still don't have the required paperwork to send in for my $1,600.00 SRP rebate. They keep promising that they will get them to me but still another missed appointment today. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

The first time I used the gas furnace, it made bad sounds. I called them out in the spring after going all winter without heat. He got it started back up, and was about to do step 2 of a 22-point check. He said, ?This system is arcing and there?s a great danger of this catching your house on fire.? He said they would pay for me to stay in a hotel to get it fixed. I was recovering from an accident, so I couldn?t, but that told me a lot about the company. I had gotten a few other estimates, and Delta gave me a basic quote. It was still expensive, though, and I told him I?d gotten other quotes. He said he?d beat that, and he did. It was wonderful of them. He replaced the unit with a pump and removed the gas furnace, cleaned the ducts, and did several other things. I was so grateful to them for helping me. I would highly recommend them.

They said they wouldn’t put the kind of motor in it that was having issues, and they went ahead and put it in anyway. 6 months later, under our agreement, they came to inspect the air conditioner and heater. They told us we needed several things, including our ducts being cleaned. They wanted to charge us a sizeable amount of money to do that. We contacted someone else and they said we wouldn’t need our ducts cleaned. At that point, I decided I wanted to get out of our agreement.

Response from Delta Air Conditioning LLC
On May 15, 2013 the member was schedule for an air conditioning check up at the cost of $59.95 for the following date May 18, 2013. While our technician was at his home he did a full inspection of his unit. The following work was done on his unit evaporator and condenser coils acid clean, thermostat wire repair and replace, low side insulation, a 1/4 HP fan motor installed, and 5yr maintenance program was purchase at the time for future service with our company. The maintenance program agreement can only be terminated within a 30 day period as stated on the contract signed by the member. The second time we schedule the member it was for January 10, 2014. On this visit our technician changed out the fan motor, which was under warranty from previous visit. No charges were made on this visit due to having an agreement with our company. The regular pricing for a motor change out is $481.00. Our technician offered the customer some recommendations he thought would be helpful for the unit performance with no obligation.

The initial contact was wonderful and, after the two company reps examined the unit they replaced, I felt VERY comfortable and happy to do business with them. They had been highly recommended by a co-worker, as well, so I thought I was in good hands. The installation was set and, at the same time, on the same day, we scheduled duct cleaning, installation of a new thermostat, and a permanent air filter. The ONLY thing that was done on time was the installation of the unit, itself. I called my representative about the remaining items, and he told me he'd check on it and get right back to me. He never did...EVER. After waiting a reasonable amount of time for him to respond (2 days), I started making calls. Everyone with whom I spoke told me it was someone else's fault, but arrangements were made to complete the work on a Saturday. I was given a 3-hour time frame for the duct cleaner to arrive and, while I was waiting for him for the 3 hours, the appointment time came and went. 45 minutes AFTER the expiration of the time window, he showed up. He told me that a company truck had broken down, and was profusely apologetic for the delay. I understand when things happen. What I do NOT understand is why no one called me to tell me about the delay. Therefore, I spent an entire day just waiting for them. And, although I was told the thermostat would be installed the same day, no one ever showed up to do that. And I did not receive my permanent filter. I made more phone calls and, although I wanted to remain calm, cool, and collected, it became very difficult as I told them I've NEVER had to work so hard to get work done after spending this amount of money. Again, everyone was very apologetic, and they got someone here to install the thermostat the next week...but still no permanent filter. I called...again. This time I was told that the filter comes by mail, and to expect it in 7-10 days. (Why no one told me this at the beginning is beyond me.) When it arrived, it was faulty...the manufacturing work was incomplete---not the company's fault, but another strike against them nonetheless. I called...again. A new filter was ordered, and I reminded the person with whom I spoke that I had been promised a free labor contract to make up for all the problems with my installation. From start to finish this work took 4 weeks, with me fighting to get everything done every step of the way. It's now been two months since this process started, and I've never heard another word from anyone about the labor contract I was promised. I couldn't possibly be any more disappointed with this company, and I would NEVER recommend them. After the contract was signed, everything went south...and still hasn't been resolved.

Like one of the other reviews, we had a service contract with another business that went out of business due to unethical practices. Delta contacted us and said that they had bought the customer list and would honor the contract we had. When we had a small AC problem last week, we decided to call them becuase we already had a contract with them. When the technician came out, he spent tons of time on the roof. Then he called us up and showed us the "black, green and white microbial growth" in the unit. He talked really fast, and was extremely aggressive. He would not say the actual word "mold" but hinted at it until we knew exactly what he thought it was. He told us that the previous occupants of our house must have been filthy people and that the whole unit, including duct work needed to be thoroughly cleaned. He basically told us that our family's health was in danger if we did not do these services because we were breathing in all of these things. The price was not cheap. He also indicated that our whole unit would likely need to be replaced within the year.Because of warranty issues, we did not use Delta to do the work. We used another company approved by the warranty. They came in, as well as a third group, and looked at the unit. Both of the other groups, independent of eachother, told us there was no mold and that the unit was extremely clean for being 11 years old. After digging into reviews, the BBB and other sources, we have found that this kind of tactic is fairly common to Delta. I would not use them as they appear to be out to sell as many services and new units as possible whether they are needed or not. They are not a very ethical company.

They woke my wife up with their unsolicited scam phone call, how do you think it went.
Description of Work: They called us claiming to be able to honor our maintenance and warranty contract with Abode Air (now bankrupt), we asked if they had a copy of the contract and they said no, they indicated they had a B+ as well. They have an F currently, and how exactly would you honor a contract that you do not have a copy of? These people are likely just as bad as Abode Air, I would steer clear of them.

This is a company that was put out of business that was taken over and given a new name. They still have the same employees. They found 6 things they considered wrong and wanted $2,500 to fix it but I have it fixed by a different company who said It only needed cleaned for far less money.
