Description of Work: Installed a deck over the existing pool. Everything went well.

Description of Work: I retired my pool and had a deck installed over the pool shell in 2013. I like the deck a lot and enjoy not having to take care of the pool. The drain equipment(sump pump and float) have had to be replaced several times and from the start every time I called with a problem I was told I would be charged $136 for a service call. I did not have to pay it because it was always their equipment with a problem. After a year of dealing with Jeff Getz(my only contact) and getting an argument every time, I told him I was through talking to him, that I would file a complaint. From that time I have had good service and the equipment was replaced and is working. |This is not maintenance free and I don't feel I can go away for several weeks without someone checking it. If it doesn't drain the water will stagnate. Last month I had to shovel mud from the pump area as it clogged the equipment. The mud comes from dust storms and rains and leaves that get through the cracks. I am not sure I would do it again. They have no competition and no service dept. It will probably pay for itself in 9 yrs. because my water and electricity bills went down dramatically. |

Description of Work: drained my pool and built a composite cover for it. Looks very nice, and have had no issues with the cover.

Description of Work: Deckover installed a well constructed deck covering our pool and spa. We were not using either of them, costing us a considerable amount of wasted money yearly. We also needed to invest in replastering and retiling. The deck is extremelly solid, and looks great. There are access doors installed so one could store things under the deck. There are two sump pummps installed if it rains. Even though the price was higher then thought, our pool was larger then some, it will save us considerable amounts of money in maintenance. Future owners can remove the deck and refurbish the pool if desired.

Description of Work: We very seldom used our swimming pool but to maintain it we paid a monthly fee to a service company. We considered having the pool filled which would have been expensive and would depreciate the value of our home. Apple Homes, Inc.( dba Deckover) gave us a better option. Deckover drained our pool, installed a sum pump to drain out rain water and constructed an attractive custom deck over our pool. If at some future date we want to resurrect the pool - it can be resurfaced and refilled at minimal cost. We can then enjoy the pool or give a future buyer the option of a pool.
