I made an appointment for 2 weeks out; the day before the planned service, I was told that they would need to reschedule. The woman who called to reschedule was very rude when I would not accept the first day they had available; I work and am only home on Friday's and the weekend. I asked for the next Friday appointment. She would not give me a time, nor a block of time which I found unusual. She said they make their appointments the day before so someone would call me on Thursday to give me the block of time. I did not get a call on Thursday, and on Friday, I was home all day, tried calling several times, but never reached anyone. I left messages that day and several days the next week. I never received a return call.

After my furnace wasn't working correctly, the home warranty company sent out Dean's Family Service to take a look. The technician was on-time, professional and thorough. Within minutes, the furnace was back to normal at just the cost of the service call. I will definitely be using them going forward for all a/c and furnace maintenance.

Called in a warranty claim and was referred to Dean Family Service. Was told they'd be in contact with me within 24 hrs and they were give or take a couple of hours. Wasn't an emergency call so I was ok with a Monday appt with 2-5 block. Got here at 2 and finished by 3. Flushed the line and all is well. Another company tried to sell me over 1200.00 in repairs or a new 8k system. I'll consider using them when we do replace the whole system next year.

Dean Family Service came out to fix an issue with our AC, but left before it was completed. We called them back out to finish fixing the AC and they refused. They just took our money and ran. We called and asked the dispatcher to call the technician back and they refused. They said that you can live without AC for another day. Umm..In Phoenix Arizona in the summertime, you can't. It's too hot. Their customer service was terrible and they made it blatantly clear over the phone, that money is all that matters. Customer service isn't a priority. If anyone out there is looking for a Good AC repair company, DO NOT CALL THIS PLACE!! They are terrible.

Three visits occurred with no fix. First visit, tech was in and out of here in a flash, said nothing was wrong, nothing he could do to determine what might be wrong, left without doing anything at all. Told me if it quit again to call the office and someone would come right out. So, unit again malfunctioned, I called office, was told that it'd be 2 or 3 days for a visit, and was told that there was "no way" their tech would have told me what he did. In effect, accused me of lying. 2nd visit, he added refrigerant. But still insisted that he had to see the unit malfunctioning in order to diagnose. Blamed the warranty company rules. 3rd visit, same story. Add to this phone calls not returned, late coming to appointment and no one bothered to call me; I even faxed the office because their answering system was full and could not accept more messages. Finally, I asked for a refund of the call charge, and the tech told me I could get a second opinion by calling the warranty company and requesting a different company I did that...new company, diagnosed and fixed the problem in first and only visit.
Description of Work: Requested repairs to A/C unit that was malfunctioning intermittently; would blow cold air for hours, then blow hot air. Service provided through home warranty company.
