De Santiago Brothers

My overall, price, professionalism and quality ratings are averages of two main pieces of work I hired De Santiago Bros to do: routine lawn maintenance, and sprinkler valve repair. When we moved in, I hired De Santiago Bros to do lawn maintenance for us. In the course of doing so, the sprinkler valves turned out to need replacement. They did this replacement. I kept them doing lawn maintenance for the next three months (through October) and then decided that my lawn work was sufficiently small that I did not need their service. Lawn care: This is A work. They were quick, effective, punctual. Cost was $55 biweekly. Great service. Sprinkler repair: This is D-F work. The sprinkler valves lasted for 6 months. They led to extensive leaking around the sprinkler valve box, that extended under my sidewalk and risked damaging the concrete. I called De Santiago Bros and got no response at all, and so went ahead and had a another company (AZSprinkler) come out and do the repair. That company found damage to the pipes leading to the valves, indicating that it was not just (double) valve failure leading to the problem. I am not sure why the valves/pipes were not leaking the entire time between September and February, though. It should be noted, De Santiago Bros did knock on my door a week after I called them to follow up on my message (when they were already in the neighborhood working elsewhere). That was too late, though, because I hadn't heard from them and had the other company do repairs already. That said, they were punctual when we had an appointment scheduled.

I have lived in this house for the last 9 years and these are the best workers I have had here for this garden.

I usually work with Dennis, but there are several of them. They are brothers. They come out every Thursday. They are on time. I pay them monthly. They are fairly priced. They also do extra work if needed. They are good.
