Description of Work: Our heat/air conditioning unit we out and he came within a couple hours and fixed it very well.

Description of Work: They came in and did a 16 point check on the AC unit. They responded very quickly when we indicated we were without air. The office staff orgiginally said they could not scehdule a visit for another 2 weeks..but when we said we were without air, they were able to have someone come that same day-AWESOME Service. The technician spoke mostly with my husband and offered some advise on what to do to replace the thermostat, which was the cause of the problem, and offered to replace the thermostat that day.which we declined as we felt it was out of our budget ($500)..we went to home depot and got a $59 thermostat and did it ourselves. We also replaced the contactor ourselves for about $12 instead of paying their higher fee to do so. It was refreshing to get advise on how to do some of the work ourselves to save money. The only disappointment I had was the technician did got go over all the items he checked and gave specific feedback on everything he looked at and why it might be important. Instead he emailed my receipt after he left which showed the items he looked at. Which I have no idea if he really checked them or not or what the items even were. They have a great follow up service from their office to check on the visit. When I mentioned the disappointment over the technician not going over the items with me, they told me most people don't want to know or don't care and that I could have asked. While that may be true, the technician could have at least offered to go over the list with him before he left and given me the option to accept or decline. I would most likely use their service again. Very friendly and right on with their appointments and care about the customer.

Description of Work: I had to resort to calling a separate plumbing contractor when the plumber used by Home Warranty couldn't seem to clear the main line from the house and wanted to charge me $1,000 for a special service that wasn't guaranteed to work. I turned to Angie's List and found Day & Night AC and Plumbing and I saved myself not only the frustration and anxiety of dealing with an inept company but over $800!!! I absolutely will use Day & Night not only for plumbing but plan on going there first when I renovate my AC units. THANK YOU!

Description of Work: The AC unit needed coolant and replacement part. The provider responded quickly and the repair was done on one trip.

Description of Work: Fixed leaking toilet. It is a American standard champion 4, he had to get special gasket and bowl kit, removed the toilet tank to install them, installed new bolts, washers and foam gasket, and put the toilet back together. I works fine now.

Description of Work: Was the heat and air conditioning inspection for one year. This was their second visit on the one year package of approx $179. The technician thoroughly inspected, tested and clean the outside unit and the unit housed in the attic. I paid a little more than the $69 special I usually purchase from another source but I feel I got more thorough service for the money with Day and Night.

Description of Work: Replace leaking tank water heater with a new tankless heater. Original was electric , new one gas . Relocated the heater to the outside if the house.
