We contacted Day & Night based upon the Angie's List reviews and were not disappointed. The receptionists as well as the scheduler, Maria, were all exceptionally courteous, prompt in answering the phones and very knowledgeable. And when they said they would need to call back, they did so - and promptly. They offered to dispatch a plumber on the same day I called; however, at my request the plumber, Cameron, came the following day. I had requested that he come at or after 2 p.m. (either was fine,) but he called to ask if he could come earlier. When I told him that wouldn't be possible, he was very gracious and showed up promptly at 2 p.m. Let me add that he was very careful about covering his shoes whenever he was in the house, removing the covers when he left, and putting them back on when he re-entered, thereby keeping our floors clean. Cameron was at all times courteous, respectful and professional in his demeanor. Since we'd had this problem before, we were skeptical about accepting services, such as a camera being used to inspect the pipes/drain to see if there were other issues, but we ended up okaying doing so. Cameron asked several questions and was able to figure out why we are having this problem recur. (Not a specific problem, it seems, with our drain, but with a LOT of cat fur going through our washer, which connects to our kitchen drain. Lesson learned, now that we know!) The one issue that occurred was that Day & Night's jetting device was being fixed and didn't arrive back to Day & Night until later, and so could not be used the same day, so we scheduled a next day appointment. In the meantime, a friend recommended a licensed plumber friend of hers, and we decided to go with him, as he too could show up the next day, and he charged several hundred dollars less for the same job. He also seemed to be very knowledgeable about jetting (as was Day & Night, to be clear,) so this wasn't just a matter of our choosing the least expensive provider. To their tremendous credit, Day & Night did NOT charge us their $59 fee to go out and evaluate the problem, since we ultimately went with another provider. (If they do the work, the $59 fee is absorbed into the total cost of work done.) They said that since they did not have the equipment available (and we would have had the service done the same day if they had,) the service call was, to all intents and purposes, on them. Now, *THAT'S* being a responsible provider who does the right thing, and we appreciated them doing that - although we were prepared to pay, since we also understood that they had expended money to get to our home, and Cameron had spent, I believe, slightly over an hour with us. So, we will definitely consider them if we need future work.

This is a great company. The work is done professionally and responsibly. I bought a year contract for maintenance. Philip was excellent - thorough, respectful, careful, helpful. He explains clearly and effectively. The work is done to meticulous quality. He helped me choose the most effective plan and avoid needless expenses. I continue to highly recommend this company.

Excellent. James from Day & Night contacted me to provide me an estimate on a tankless hot water tank; as I received a quote from another company. James came to my home when promised and we discussed several options including the tankless hot water tank. At the time Day & Night was running a special which was $500 less than a competitor for the same item. The install was extremely professional. I am very pleased with service that I received from Day & Night plumbing. My former plumbing was great, but Day & Night is better. I have since switched my plumbing company to Day & Night. Day and Night did a fantastic job!! Josh was our plumber and HE IS THE BEST! We used Day and Night for our AC replacement last summer and we are hooked on this company. The technicians and all other personnel are very professional, courteous and friendly. You cannot go wrong with Day and Night.

I have used their services twice now and both times have been 5 star service. My ac unit went out over the summer and I submitted an online request late at night and received a phone call very first things the next morning. They had dispatched someone right away and he fixed the problem at very reasonable pricing in a timely manner. Yesterday I had ricki one of their technicians come out to do a routine maintenance which was apart of my warranty from my previous work that i didn’t even realize I had that’s Michelle called the prior day to tell me about and ask me if I wanted to schedule my free winter maintenance which I did and ricki was here the next day (yesterday). He was very professional and courteous and very knowledgeable. He also explained some great promotions they are currently offering which we are seriously considering. We heard about this company from our neighborhood association. They were highly recommended and now I know why. Day & Night was amazing and I would highly recommend them. It was the first time I used them and they have found a permanent customer. Troy did my install and he was fantastic. He took plenty of time to answer my questions, was professional, and expedient. In fact I will specifically request him next time I need work done. The people at their office were very responsive and friendly. The day my service was scheduled they called me to give me an update as to when to expect Troy. Overall fantastic experience!

Wow, our experience with Day & Night has been top-notch from the first appointment with Marc through installation by Kevin, Josh, Mike & Tony. These guys were so polite, considerate and friendly. They took great care to protect wood floors and new carpet and cleaned up thoroughly. The two A/C units were installed like clockwork. Everything was done to the highest standard! We would give A Plus if we could. We are so glad we chose Day & Night. Thank you!

Shantell was the person who answered the phone. She was quick and professional - exactly what I wanted. They were on my roof an hour after I made the phone call. Eric was fast and polite, explaining the work to be done and helping me to decide between the expensive way and the less expensive but riskier options. Price seemed fair (although I’m no expert on these things).

Very well. Informative, prompt, professional and I also subscribed to an annual service contract because I was very happy with the attention to detail and prompt service.

We recently purchased a new heat pump/ac unit from Day & Night and couldn't be happier with this company. To start, Brian, the salesperson, arrived on time to provide an estimate. He conducted a thorough review including inspecting ductwork, measuring the square footage of our home and utilized computer software to calculate the proper size unit we needed (we have only been in our current home a few months and discovered the current unit was too small to keep the house cool when the outside temps climbed above 100). Brian was friendly, professional and knowledgeable, explaining everything in terms a layperson can understand. I want to add that other companies provided an estimate after merely looking at the home's square footage. They did not bother to look at the duct work. Had they done so, they would've found what Brian did: A need for some adjustments and a total lack of insulation in several areas. We decided we wanted Day & Night to do the job. They next scheduled a technician, Peter, to come out and take a look concerning the ductwork and other technicalities. During his review, Peter spotted a hidden potential hazard concerning the current electrical configuration. We were grateful to Day & Night for spotting the problem which they fixed during the installation. We were able to get the job scheduled within just a few days. The crew that arrived, Josh, Tony, and Cameron, like everyone at Day & Night, arrived right on time at 6am. All three were friendly and hard-working. They even brought (and installed in a back bedroom) a portable air conditioner so that we would be comfortable throughout the day while they completed the installation. They also carefully laid drop cloths knowing they'd be working on ductwork that might kick up dirt/dust. The three kept the pedal to the medal, and by about 1:30 pm, they were finished. And by "finished", I mean they gathered all their equipment, disconnected the portable a/c unit, and thoroughly vacuumed the floors just in case any dust escaped from the drop cloths. They could not have been more thorough. I can't say enough good things about Josh, Tony and Cameron-- they were absolutely great! One week after the installation, it is Day & Night's policy to send another person to inspect the system and installation. Carey came out and I found him to be friendly and knowledgeable, like everyone at this company. He saw a minor issue with one of the parts on the unit-- they'll be out in a couple days to fix it. It is nothing that is impacting our comfort but Carey was not happy with the part and wants it corrected. I've lived in AZ many years-- this is the fourth or fifth new heat pump/ac unit I've had to purchase. My experience with Day & Night was the best of all. These people know what they're doing and it shows! The quality of the unit itself is of course important but it is even more important that the installation - including proper ducting, etc - is done correctly. For that reason, I am glad we chose Day & Night. I will never use any other company for our a/c-heating needs. If you're seeking high quality -- from the schedulers to the technicians -- go with Day & Night. You will not be sorry.

I emailed 4 companies for a quote at about 8am. Day & Night A/C called me within an hour and a technician was at my home 30 minutes later. They helped me resolve my issue and prevent further issues with some helpful advice. They were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They more than earned the $60 service charge. I would definitely hire them for any future issues! P.S. At the time of this review...2 hours after the Day and Night technician left...I have not gotten a response from any of the other companies.

A/C went out late last night. Called Day & Night and got a call back very quickly from Chantal, who scheduled us for 8am today. Ricky came out on time, diagnosed the issue quickly, and provided courteous and professional service. He kept us apprised throughout the process - with pictures! - and cleaned up after himself. Terrific job! We will be using this company from now on.

They arrived promptly and were able to diagnose the correct problem immediately. I was really concerned that my entire air conditioning unit (a 12 year old unit) might be ready to bit the dust. Fortunately after obtaining one part they completed the work the same day and ever since our air conditioning has been working like a new unit. Dominic was very helpful!

Day and Night has come out to my home for two separate jobs. Excellent scheduling. Prompt and professional service by technician. I was very pleased with the professsional service of Day and Night and will use their services again.

Excellent! Josh was fantastic! We haven't use an out-of-pocket plumber in quite a while and were a bit apprehensive. Decided on getting numerous estimates from those suggested "A"-rated from Angie's list to fix/replace a couple of toilets and fix a leaky sink. Second person to come to the house was Josh. He looked at the leaky faucet and decided he could fix it without charging us. That sealed the deal and we used Day & Night to replace the toilets. Josh was professional, courteous, timely, quickly efficient, and clean. Not the cheapest in town, but probably the best!

Overall went very well, no complaints from the field service technician Kent. He was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions, provided a detailed explanation of what the issue was, and how it would get fixed. The only issue was when the home office called to schedule my repair appointment, they scheduled it without me confirming it. Therefore I was not happy about that, but due to Kents professional service in the beginning, I called and moved the appointment to a date/time that was more convenient.

Service was performed satisfactorily but quoted service charge of $59 was more than doubled to $140. No justification for the charges was provided on the receipt and the technician did not seek approval or otherwise inform me of charges prior to commencing work. There were no parts issued and no hourly labor rate provided on the receipt. The technician spent less than half an hour checking out the system, resolving noise issue by tightening compressor bolts. How this inflated charge was calculated is a mystery. Communication of charges needs to be improved.
