After 4 days of no response I e-mailed them. They told me that they couldn't beat the other price. I re-explained that it wasn't that I was looking for a better price but that the other people wouldn't get back to me and asked again what their price would be. That was a month ago. I never heard back.
Description of Work: I e-mailed through Angie's List to get a quote for repairing two damaged tables. I told them that I had another quote but that those people were taking too long to get in contact. They asked for pictures and measurements. I took pictures, measured the tables and the damaged areas, and provided the amounts of the other quotes. This took a little while to complete.

THE REPRESENTATIVE WAS KIND, PROFESSIONAL, & THROUGH. HE EXPLAINED THAT HE WASN'T TIED TO EITHER PARTY & WOULD SUBMIT AN UNBIASED REPORT. HE WAS QUIET & RESPECTFUL. HE DID HIS JOB VERY QUICKLY BUT IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT HE WAS WORKING FROM A PARTICULAR CRITERIA.
Description of Work: THIS COMPANY WAS HIRED AS A CLAIM SERVICE BETWEEN THE MOVING COMPANY (THAT MOVED MY FAMILY TO ARIZONA) & MY FAMILY. THE REPRESENTATIVE CAME OUT TO ASSESS THE DAMAGE I CLAIMED OF OUR FLAT SCREEN TELEVISION. THEY DENIED OUR CLAIM SINCE EXTERNAL DAMAGE WAS NOT EVIDENT.

MARC CAME OUT AND WAS VERY POLITE. HE FIXED BOTH PIECES SO THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL THAT IT WAS DAMAGED. THE CHINA CABINET IS OVER 60 YEARS OLD AND IT LOOKS PERFECT. WITH THE LEG OF MY TABLE WHERE THERE WAS A LARGE PIECE OF WOOD MISSING, HE WAS ABLE TO USE EPOXY WHICH LOOKS LIKE WOOD. HE MATCHED THE STAIN ON BOTH ITEMS WELL.
Description of Work: WHEN WE MOVED TO PHOENIX FROM ST LOUIS, SOME OF OUR WOOD FURNITURE WAS DAMAGED. MARC REID WAS SENT OUT TO FIX A TABLE AND A CHINA CABINET. ONE HAD A LARGE CHUNK OF WOOD OUT AND THE OTHER HAD SMALLER SCRATCHES.

THE SHOP DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB IN RESTORING THE CORNER OF OUR DESK. YOU CAN'T TELL THAT IT WAS RUINED. MARC CAME TO OUR HOUSE TO FIX THE TRIM ON OUR DRESSER AND TOOK HIS TIME MAKING SURE THE ENDS WERE EVEN. IT NOW LOOKS LIKE NEW.
Description of Work: WARRANTIED UNDER OUR MOVER'S POLICY. SOME FURNITURE WAS DAMAGED DURING OUR MOVE FROM GEORGIA. A CORNER OF A DESK WAS DESTROYED AND SOME TRIM FROM OUR DRESSER WAS TORN OFF.
