Copperstate Moving

Sent a slick sales guy, Tyler Ricks, to my home who undercut the other two movers I was getting bids from. Promised pack 4/10, move 4/11 and unpack 4/12. Called the office to clarify a couple of things just as truck had been fully loaded when “the owner” told me they could not guarantee arrival. I said I would reflect this in my google review and she told the driver and movers to cancel my move and unload the truck. They made a couple of phone calls and drove away with my belongings. I was sick to my stomach and mortified. I cancelled the unpacking portion because I had no trust of this company by this time and I am still waiting on my refund for that while they wouldn’t open the truck until I paid them their $4500. This company is completely SHADY. Nothing but LIES. DO NOT USE them if you value your health and well being.

My things arrived reboxed, damaged and some were stolen. Owner Marcus threatened and yelled and screamed at me. He refused to provide the inventory to the driver. After a considerable amount of back and forth he did email it. Directed the driver to return with my belongings fa to put in his storage in Phoenix! Do t use these people. They are untrustworthy and thieves

What an awful experience. Moved from CO to AZ and they damaged over 30% of my belongings. Marcus made many promises he did not keep and actually took a switch to one of my items that he promised to replace and then refused to bring it back. Many of my items didn't make it on the truck and I am still waiting for them to get those items to me - hopefully they won't be damaged as well. There is no follow through- and they haven't taken responsiblity for the out of state movers they contracted with. Additionally, they promised the things they took apart would be labeled and used to reinstall - that didn't happen and I still have items missing parts. Additionally, their in-state movers put a huge amount of pressure on you to immediately post a review in front of them. I did so as one of their in-state movers was very good but with the understanding they would make it right for the mess they made. This didn't happen. Lastly, don't be fooled by them promising other services to make up for the damage they caused. They sent 2 people to hang photos - the installers asked me to buy them dinner, took a really long break and took 3x the amount of time as normal installers and then I'm told by Marcus that he is deducting their cost from any claims. Additionally, they promised to return and touch up paint any damage but did not return. They also said they would have all the items needed to hang the photos but they were unprepared and charged me for 2 hrs to go to home depot and buy supplies.

Copperstate repied to my Google review that I exaggerated our claims. We had verified damage by a 3rd party - the first 3 items off the truck were broken and then the damage kept coming. Copperstate says that we asked for our goods to sit outside in a truck in the PHX heat - NOT TRUE - my husband was born and raised in PHX and would NEVER ask for that to save money. The clothes that were wrinkled needed to be drycleaned - silk and sweaters and the shoes/boots were permanently damaged from being crammed into boxes so Copperstate used less boxes. Heat damaged our leather couches and our clothes were mixed in with art work. We had bed frames, picture frames and glass broken and items melted in the heat. We also were told that only Copperstate people would work on the job; all subcontracted out. Only positive was the driver at our delivery point who was apologetic. We paid for storage inside, not outside. We had to redo the claim because Copperstate tried to avoid full value replacement!

Badly! Many lost items!!! Art work, antique chair, linens, lamp shades, step stool and more. Partial delivery July 15, list of missing items sent July 16. Owners and rep unresponsive to calls, texts, emails! Where are my possessions? Lost or stolen, delivered to someone else? Owners say dedicated to honesty, protect & provide stress free move. Keep in contact from beginning to end, prompt, reliable, on time. Very unprofessional. Let me know less than 24 hours before delivery that shuttle was now needed after rep saying no need. I paid for extra truck and owners say they paid for it. Not true. Owners say they gave 20% discount. Not true! They gave 10% for delay of delivery due to no notification. Sorry I ever did business with these people! Where are my possessions??? It's been several weeks and no communication. Paid $3600. and still do not have complete delivery.

I would like to inform all in regards to our initial review. The owner, Crystal, reached out to me after my complaint on 3/1/2021. Crystal was very apologetic for our unsatisfactory service and all unbeknownst to her. Crystal satisfied our dispute and we are pleased.

From the very beginning in speaking to the lady in the office the experience was more than I really expected. She made sure we had everything we needed and communicated with us about every step of the process. The review of the items to be packed by the men was done perfectly because the truck was loaded with perfection. The load had to travel 1800+ miles and when the truck arrived at it's destination, barely a box had even moved a few inches. There was no breakage and they finished the job in just the time they said they would. This company hires great people - I found them on Angie's List and every part of the experience with Copperstate Movers was met with professionalism, courtesy and a sense of pride in providing great customer service. In addition to all of this with a 'normally planned move' there is scheduling and time notice to the company so they can stay within their schedule. This move was a last minute call (a little more than a week notice) for men to load the truck. Several companies wouldn't even consider trying to make something work but this company did everything for us to make it happen. We agreed to have everything ready so we didn't step outside their time frame and we let them run the show and we followed their excellent direction. I would recommend this company to anyone that was looking for the right people, the right service and the right price for the services they offer. Moving is stressful. Last minute moving when you have to come from out of state to prepare items for the move adds to the level of stress. The minute the two men started 'working the job' there was a sense of calm and we couldn't have asked for a better company to load the truck!! There is not enough vocabulary to adequately describe how fantastic this company is! If you are looking for a moving experience that breaks the mold, look no further. The work they do is beyond compare, and the people that make up the company are the most skilled, thoughtful, kind, caring, compassionate and personable I have met! After suffering a devastating and emotional loss, they helped me to clear out the space where a loved one lived, and did so with the utmost respect; both for the belongings as well as my emotional state. They are reliable and honest and hard working... and I will use them forever more for ANY such work that needs to be done. I am so impressed, appreciative, and grateful for everything. THANK YOU COPPERSTATE!! Marcus and the guys are phenomenal... I could not recommend them more highly. They really and truly are THE BEST
