We agreed on a date and time, and Collins called before coming. He arrived on time, took a look at our locks, explained everything and set to work. He was very professional and helpful. Not only did he re-key all the exterior locks, he disabled some interior locking door latches that might have caused a problem (slight extra charge - but very reasonable). He was very conscientious; he even called us back to make sure we didn't have any further problems and that we were able to get our mailbox key to work. We would definitely use him again.

We wanted to have all the doors rekeyed to our new house. John was very responsive, able to accommodate us on a Saturday morning, showed up on time and did a great job. All our doors were rekeyed and he left us with a handful of spare keys. Great service!

John was great to work with. He called right after buying the deal to set up a time to do the work. He was prompt and very professional. He even fixed a few things that he did not charge for, and provided some great security advice. I would use Collins Locksmiths again in a heartbeat!! Excellent job by a guy who loves his work.

Service was great, they were early, explained what he was going to do and threw in some additional services and materials at no additional cost.

I contacted John to fix door handle and latch. He responded promptly and we talked for a few minutes. He asked me to send some photos of the door & locks via IM, which I did, to help him diagnose the issue and to determine what was needed. We set on a day & time. He arrived right on time and was very cordial. It only took him a few minutes to confirm what the issue was. Rather than install a brand new indoor & outdoor set of handles and lock kit I'd purchased, he was able to make the repair just using a new latch mechanism he had, and I was able to keep my existing door handles, and return the new kit to the store for a refund. Great experience, highly recommend.

Our experience with Collins Locksmith was ideal from start to finish. I explained our situation over the phone and John went out of his way to help, even though he didn't typically service our area. My friend that was at the house while he was working was so impressed he immediately hired him to come and address an issue at his house as well. They re-keyed my house and I purchased an additional lock. He was courteous, prompt, called me before hand, and he explained things well. They did a great job.
