Fail Fail Fail 0- Stars Associated with "Angels Moving", these guys (Fred Jesse Hayes and Chris- and apparently a "Tiffany Kessinger" is in the mix somewhere) pushed us off for 4 months (still dealing with it and small claims court)- refusing to pay to fix a BABY GRAND PIANO they DROPPED. Only after looking for SOME kind of restitution, they agreed to $500 but then wanted to lower that to $400. This was instead of paying for the $1500 in damages to our piano. WHICH THEIR GUYS DROPPED! The WORST! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are understaffed and under equipped. My move was scheduled for Sat between 9:30 and 10:30 AM. I got a call the evening before that they had a truck break down and wouldn't be able to get the mechanic to look at it until the next morning. So now we are looking at noon-ish. At this point, start thinking of alternative solutions (ie. RENT A TRUCK!). Then I hear around noon that the truck can't be repaired, but they are going to get to me after the other 2 jobs are done (ummmm, what happened to the crew from the other truck? Still... rent a truck! Back up plan!). Then I get a call that the movers are overheated and can't do it that day. WHAT??????? They then ask to reschedule for MONDAY! 2 days later! I am stuck in limbo at this point and thankfully closed on my house a week early so I had a little leeway to get out of my apartment. Can you refer me to someone that could do the job Sunday? No. Anyone else would need at least a week to schedule me. Any other movers? No. Apparently they have no other movers/labor they could schedule on Sunday? So...Monday it is. Monday rolls around and they don't call me on the way to my apartment. I call them. Oh, they are there already. WHAT? I'm on my way. I get there, where are they? Not there. Someone walked off the job and didn't want to work that day. OMG, are you even kidding me right now? So they are trying to round up a couple guys that want to work Monday. Finally, a couple guys show up at 11:15 AM. One was his first day for the company, the other guy didn't even actually work for the company, just a buddy that wanted to earn some money for the day? All my belongings are in the hands of these guys. It takes them over 6 hours to get a one bedroom apartment moved (and I had already moved a lot of boxes, the closet and clothes). They didn't wrap my furniture and damaged multiple pieces. They BROKE my futon, my sofa got dirty from their dirty hands and setting it, fabric side, on the ground outside. They gave me 10% off for all this hassle. Oh, and I had to miss a day of work because they couldn't do the job on Saturday as promised. This pushed my whole schedule out 2 days, I spent several nights unpacking and cleaning and closing out the old apartment until 2 AM that week (which affected my work as well). When I called (several times) to complain and let them know about my dissatisfaction, I got no apology, just excuses. When I emailed and asked for some kind of assistance with the repair and cleaning of my furniture, I got absolutely no response. This company (which the real estate company I work for USED to recommend to clients on a regular basis) has dumbfounded me as far as customer service and problem solving. There were so many times and points that they could have saved this review from happening and they have made no effort. SHAMEFUL! Buyer beware!

They were commended by Dose Moving company. We had an excellent experience with Classic Delivery. We called the number given my Dose Moving, Chris answered the phone and we were surprised when he said that they can do it on the next day. On the next day, David called at the time promised to meet. They showed up on time at Costco with big moving truck. We knew right away because the truck was clearly identified. David and John did an excellent job. We were so impressed with their professionalism, they knew what they were doing. We had a second floor, and tiny stairs. Our old sofa was bulky and very heavy. They did the job with out damaging the wall, door and sofa. They brought the new sofa, also very big and heavy, in the box to our unit without any damage. Highly recommended. We will use them again.

My case manager recommended this service although I did not see their name under any of the reviews of companies I read. We are senior citizens and low income. We moved out of a one bedroom 600 something square foot apartment. I was quoted a price of approx. $300.00. They arrived promptly and were careful about covering things but it took them 4 hours to load the truck. I only bought 4 large boxes and 3 med. and one wardrobe box. They would take something down and be gone for a half hour. I moved all the rest of our clothes and smaller things with 2 trips in my car. I think they were determined to make this job last all day. Also the truck they brought was too small and they had to make 2 trips. They were told about a storage unit and the size that needed moved too. When I complained they gave me a 10 percent discount and took off second trip fee but left on the hours second trip took which wouldn't have been necessary had they brought a bigger truck to begin with. They blamed me because I didn't specifically name every item. I had no more than anybody in a one bedroom would have. Now they are threatening me. They charged me $675.00 after discount. Totally outrageous. Was really taken advantage of by this company. Far cry from $300.00 .

I had a very good experience with this company, from the person I spoke with to arrange it (Tom) to the two delivery guys. They went to great effort to fit the delivery into a tight schedule for me, and they managed to do it, keeping communication up with me all the way. Everything was great. I recommend this company for delivery services (I haven't tried them as a mover, but would if I needed that service).

The service turned out really well and I have no complaints. They were very careful and they covered items that needed to be protected. I had no issues at all.

Classic Delivery and Moving was extremely helpful with my move. I was under a time consraint because I had to move my items out of storage before the end of the month but couldn't schedule the move until the bank settled the mortage for my new home. Classic Delivery and Moving was able to schedule my move with only 2 days notice. The movers showed up on time and worked very quickly in moving my item from storage to my new home. They were extremely careful with all of the furniture and were very friendly and professional to work with. I highly recommend using them if you're needing a moving company!

Had a horrible experience w/another Angie's list provider a week before (8/3 & 8/4 respectively). Called this company due to its proximity to the drop off location for the move. Spoke w/Tom. I'll refer to him as Tom #1. He listened to my story, and I then went on to explain what I needed, etc. as far as the job went. I explained that my realtor was going to be at point B to accept deliver but that she had something going on after 12pm 8/9. He said "no problem, we have the delivery window open from 10-12" so I said perfect we'll take it. He asked that I call on the day before to provide the "timing" window for which the realtor needed to get to the property to accept the delivery. So I phoned Wednesday afternoon. A man answered. He began asking a bunch of questions and information I had already provided to Tom #1. So I asked "is your name Tom, you don't sound like the guy I spoke with last Saturday who I already provided all this information to?" He said "yeah, my name is Tom but we have about 4 who work here." Let's call him Tom #2. At that point, he began saying that there's no way they could get there till 1pm to which I said to Tom #2 "Look, the first Tom I spoke with gave me the two hr. window of 10-12pm and I took it because I am out of state and relying on the kindness of others to be there to receive this. My realtor can't be there at 1pm that's why we took the 10-12pm slot." I went on to tell him that my phone call was not to "renegotiate" the terms that were already agreed to last Saturday. To which he said "no problem, we'll be there between 10-12pm." Then he asked me for payment to which I said that was also agreed last Saturday and the agreement was I'd pay by credit card AFTER the job was complete given what had happened before w/having to stop payment on a check I had already performed for the first company who then never performed the service. So I said, I'd like to stick w/those terms also. When someone says they'll be "there" between 10-12pm I expected by Noon. Isn't that what you would think? Now Thursday rolls around and by 10:30 my time (1 hr. behind AZ), no call to my realtor. So she texted me that there wasn't a call and she was concerned they were going to be late which would make her late and what were we going to do? I called her and told her I'd wait 15 more minutes. If they hadn't even called her then for the 45 minute lead time call, then I was going to call and cancel the service. Meanwhile the realtor called her husband and had him drive over to point B to receive the item as she just knew they weren't going to be there by 12pm since they hadn't yet called her for the 45 minute call (she was already at the property). So...at about 10:55am my time (11:55 AZ time) they called her. She told them her husband would be there, etc., etc. as she had to leave for her appointment. So, at roughly 12:55pm she got their call saying they were 45 minutes away. So I would guestimate their "actual" delivery of the item 45 minutes later from that call but I cannot be sure. Either way, it was outside of the agreed upon "delivery window." At about 1:30 my time I had still not receive the call for payment so I called them. Gave Tom #1 (I recognized his voice) my cc number and he says "we charge $2.00 for cc payments" I said we'll you didn't tell me that last Saturday. It annoys me when people don't make those little hidden fees known upfront so I said we'll that's okay because your ad on Angie's list indicated I get 10% off on the service and he said "when did you tell me you're an Angie's list customer" and I reminded him...last Saturday when I called to hire your company for the delivery so he did honor the 10% off. All said and done, if time is not an issue for you and you can be flexible and be willing to go outside their delivery window, I'd say use them again but make sure you get all terms up front and keep track of the "last names" of everyone you speak to who has the first name of Tom.

What a wonderful moving experience! I must say that I have used many moving companies in my life and this one was in a word, FANTASTIC! They were on time, professional, friendly, careful, courteous, efficient, and everything else you would want in a moving service. I had to move a few things between three locations and they were great. It was inexpensive and fast. No hidden charges as everything was stated up front and very reasonable. They wore uniforms and were very polite. Anytime I need a mover, I will only call Classic Delivery and Moving.

We could not be any happier with the movers, price, quality of work, punctuallity etc. This is a Grade A company in every respect. They even honored the Angie's List 10% off coupon.

From the first phone contact, Classic Delivery was professional and responsive to our needs. We were able to schedule the move on the date and time needed - thus, they were very accomodating. Our movers were very nice to work with and they took great care in protecting and moving our furniture and other items. It was also nice that the movers were willing to take some of our items to the Goodwill. I will most definitely use this moving company again. I highly recommend using the services of Classic Delivery.

I found Classic Delivery on Angie's List, after (unsuccessfully) attempting to find a donation center who would accept a (in very good condition) hide-a-bed; and then having to resort to finding a handyman service we could hire to move it to the curb for refuse pick-up.-No handyman service was interested either. What was sad is that this piece has a new mattress, and is in wonderful condition. We hated to discard it-but no charity would accept a hide-a-bed. After being turned down by two handyman services, I decided to search moving companies. Classic Delivery was the first on the list. Tom, the owner, was wonderful. When I answered his questions regarding the condition of the piece, he told me he worked with a couple of animal shelters, and would be happy to pick it up. In fact, the charity uses these donations to raise money. Tom was not going to charge me for his pick-up service. I was happy to include a personal check to the shelter, as well, when the two young men arrived for the pick up. They also happily provided me with a donation slip. This is a moving company, first. But what Tom did, was out of the kindness and generosity of his heart! My husband and I are dedicated to generosity, and are animal lovers, as well. The young men from Classic Delivery were friendly and professional. They came into our home, and wrapped the piece as if it was being moved to a new residence. I was very impressed. If we were to move, Classic Delivery would be the first company we would call--for all the right reasons. What we experienced was just a bonus-from a man who owns a business, and has all the right values...personally, as well as professionally. ...very refreshing!

Excellent. Having to relocate due to short sale. Wanted licensed, bonded insured company mostly to move just the 350 lb rolltop desk and tall glass-front shelves. Price was half amount quoted by 2 other vendors. They called 20 minutes ahead of arrival and arrived precisely on-time or a few minutes early. Crew of 2 handled the job efficiently and very smoothly. They were courteous and friendly and handled the these large pieces with care and put them right in place in new location without a scratch. All done within 2 hours or barely over and I didn't feel charges were excessive, especially considering 2 other companies required 3 hour minimum + a minimum travel charge making their fees double or more.

I have used them previously in the past, but this time they underestimated me and charged me twice the estimate. They also damaged the walls while moving things. I wasn’t satisfied with them this time and will not use them again in the future.

Everything turned out great! They were efficient, polite, and hung in there until the end, and best of all they stuck with the estimate they originally gave me!

Tough move... My husband has more books than the library and had to work out of town during this move. --- There had to be 400 boxes plus for the whole move. There were three trips to the new location. I had had rotator cuff surgery, and couldn't touch a thing. The guys were GREAT about reminding me not to start packing, which is what I wanted to do!!! ( ( had done the last two moves alone) They were wonderful and flexible when we started to see how huge this move from a 5 bedroom house with studio ..... to a two bedroom condo with a two car garage - was. I would recommend them to anyone... and Thanks for all the reminding not to get involved with the packing.. My shoulder is still in one piece.... healing. They were FANTASTIC !!

The contractor arrived on time and finished earlier than anticipated. the job was estimated at 3 hours plus 'travel time" the actual move took 2 hours but I was billed for the 3

They crew was punctual but the information conveyed during the estimate a week before was not given to the moving crew. They did not bring ANY wardrobe boxes, then Tom, the owner was contacted and he brought over 6 boxes and when I stated that I had asked for 9 - he stated "you will have to make do". The van was old with no name, I was almost embarressed to have it in front of my home. The crew worked very hard, but it took much longer than the estimate and therefore cost more. They made no attempt to protect the wood floors until I asked them to do so. When the time was mounting, I began to help the crew finish up. Many items were left wrapped when they left, not a big deal, but not professional. I used this company because of the A rating on Angie's list. Makes me wonder if the owners or friends put things on the list to make them look better than they are

I placed my initial phone call to this company as I was refered to them by the Property Manager of Belara Apartments that I love so much. Was given a date and time that I would receive a call back from the owner to provide an over the phone quote along with a date and time for the in person quote. Scheduled the move, asked for and received the written quote via fax and the movers followed with me the day before the move to confirm the date and arrival time. Kirk and his moving partner showed up and got right to work and were wonderful and very communicative with me about what they were doing and answered any questions that I may have had and did it all with professionalism and were extremely friendly and have great energy about them.
