Team arrived promptly, performed work in a professional and courteous manner, removed all cutting and debris and cleaned up like it never happened. These people are tree experts, don't mow lawns or do general landscaping. If you need tree people who know what they are doing, you can rely on Chip Off The Old Block.

It went extremely well, everyone was super polite and professional and punctual. We had a little snag with the stump grinder machine accidentally nicking the pool pump pipe that was close to stump (which I am ok with because after all accidents happen) but everyone was extremely responsive and they had someone out immediately to fix it and had it fully replaced/repaired the next morning. Nick and all the guys were excellent. I would definitely use them again!!

The man that treated the trees and the crew that trimmed them were all on-time and extremely professional. I am very pleased with the results. I would definitely hire them again.

Work on pines was good. One palm was over-trimmed, but the crew claimed not to have received the very specific instructions I made for that tree when scheduling the estimate. What caused a major problem for me was that they failed to keep the appointment time they had twice confirmed. It took multiple attempts to find out when the crew actually would arrive. They made no effort to address this although admitting it was their error. This caused me to need to reschedule a flight. Cost of change fees and other problems caused by them not showing up as scheduled were far more than the small reduction on my bill. I would not use again unless the office and scheduling staff took their jobs more seriously.

Conrad did the estimate on a Saturday and was professional and knowledgeable. The crew came out the following Friday. They were quick once they got started and the stump grinding crew came immediately upon their completion. We weren't even sure that they could come the same day so that was a plus. They did not grind, instead pulled everything completely up and sprayed to eliminate anything that could resurface. The crew was pretty loud while they were setting up but they seemed to be having a good time. I can't complain about people enjoying their work!

The arborist was professional enough, but after hearing what 3 other arborists said, the opinion here was pretty much based on textbook theory rather than a blend of classroom knowledge and real-world information. My trees are nearly 50 years old, and they aren't going to look like they're 7. Trying to get me to pay $1,000 for maintenance just didn't seem right. Glad i passed on it..

The Arborist came and reviewed the work I was asking to be done and explained in detail what should be done. I was given a price and then he deducted for the Angie's List discount. The price was terrific based on the other 3 quotes I was given for the same work. There were 3 crews (1 for feeding, etc., 1 for tree/trunk grinding, 1 for tree trimming and removal. All 3 crews arrived on time, were professional, reviewed the work to be done in advance and at completion, and were friendly. The work was completed as expected, the clean up was great, and I am completely satisfied and would use them again in the future.

My trees looked very healthy after being treated by these arborists. Had to get over the "sticker shock" as we didn't budget for this extravagant expense. I reasoned that it was better to "bit the bullet" than replace the trees.

Tree trimmingwas excellent. We had a problem with the professionalism of one of their workers. Management was very responsive. They called back to be sure that we were satisfied with the work.

The price was great. Nick came out on a Monday and the trees was removed on Tuesday. The price was the best I got and the quality of workmanship was A one. The grinded the stump down and cleaned up behind themselves. They even at no extra cost removed a pile of dead tree trimming that was left behind by the previous tenants. I LOVE THEM

Excellent. Crew showed up early, trimmed and cleaned up. Deep feeding was done by another guy, who did a superior job to what another firm did a couple of years ago.

They did a very good job and cleaned up afterwards pretty well. We had them previously as well.

I had a sickly palm tree in the front yard that had become an eye sore. Chip Off The Old Block removed it and ground the stump to be level with the lawn around it. Fast, easy, clean, thank you!

Their work was great my husband said, he didn't like their administrated staff but their workers were great they did a great job. My complaint was with the collection part of it, they didn't collect on the day of service which I was ready to offer, I had ready, ready a check for them however they didn't accepted it at that time and the very next day they started calling me everyday for the check and kind of aggressively trying to get the payment, then I went away on a trip because I fly for a living and then I was gone for three days and everyday they called on day two the day after that day after that and we wanted to finish the open invoice and I got tick off I didn't send it out to him I waited another few days purposely and when she called me I said to her [21:37] she goes well whatever it's really irrelevant but I said maybe the post office was busy too they didn't sent it to but we have already sent the check. We had our trees deep rooted and fertilized and we had our trees trimmed and they came out and did the trimming they gave us the date and time they were going to be there for instance if they said they are going to be there 2 o'clock between twelve and two on Monday I am just making this date up so we waited and they came close to that time period it would have been little bit after and then we waited for the rest of the day for the other guy to come to do the deep watering they did the root fertilization and they were suppose to also do the trimming and they didn't come because there two different crews so they wanted us to wait another day and their excuse was well maybe our guys got busy and they couldn't come today and well we waited all day for you to come and now you are telling me you are going to take another few days for you to come out and finish the job and they said well we got busy so that's when I said when I sent the check when I finally sent the check I said well we sent the check maybe the post office just got busy I said do you remember just like your guys got busy maybe the post office got busy.

Excellent. Charles was very good in providing us a quote accompanied by a detailed work order. Work was conducted on time and outstanding work including exceptional clean up.

Trimming was done on schedule and they cleaned up very well. The next day they were supposed to deep feed the trees, but nobody showed up. But they did call for payment information. After the 4th call we asked when they were going to complete the service. The person calling about payment didn't know the service was not complete or that it even was supposed to be done, but still wanted payment. They did come and feed the trees after we had to tell them that nobody had come to do that. We received 9 phone calls regarding payment, a bit much. We've used this company before and had a good experience, so that's why we chose them again. Probably won't use them in the future. They were more worried about payment than service.

They were very responsive and ready to start the job quickly. Their price was half that of 2 other bids and the job was done well and in a very timely manner. They also cleaned up beautifully afterwards.

Punctual, polite, and high quality work. Fast and efficient. Cleaned up completely. Also, preserved a large cactus growing at the base of the tree, exactly as I requested. Everything was chipped and removed. Will definitely use them again !

I chose chip of the old block due to great prices. When I scheduled the service they told me that they cannot commit to any time and I will receive a phone call the day of the appointment with time of service. On the day of the service the offices did called and advise me that 10am is the scheduled time for the crew to arrive to my home. Even after 1hr of the scheduled time no one showed up and when I called the office they had no information of the appointment even though they did call me and scheduled the visit earlier that day. According the sells person I have been talking to the appointment is not in the system since he booked the appointment. This does not seems as a professional company if their systems and consumer service is not up to date. I did take my business somewhere else.
