CHAVEZ & ASSOC LTD

In a word: Uninspired. We went to Chavez & Associates based on the pictures on the website and meeting Mr. Chavez in person. The service provided was substandard in that we had to always ask for the work product to be provided. It took three weeks to get a rework of a 1500 sq ft house! Then, we only got the plans after asking when we might see some plans. Also, when he sent us plans, he failed to include a laundry room! He then quickly added a laundry closet (not the laundry room we desired) on the plans without any apology. Additionally, Mr. Chavez did not take into consideration the plan we provided to him that showed the addition of square footage, which he took a picture of after viewing them. Lastly, we had asked about putting a second story on as well and that never showed up in the plans he drew. It was like pulling teeth. Even after meeting with him in person, he did not know the name of his client (the person who wrote the check for his work - can you care any less?) and he again presented extremely uninspired work product. Mr. Chavez is a nice guy, but his work is a solid ‘Meh’. Steer clear if you expect creativity or being treated as a valued client. What he provided to us was NOTHING like his website. $3K down the drain. Complete disappointment.
