I am so disappointed in Century 21! I assumed that I was in professional hands because it was "Century 21". I toured the property with my realtor and loved it. I called and spoke to a receptionist who informed me that it was still available, and Stephanie Crow was the realtor who would contact me. I immediately applied for it, and for EIGHT days, I never heard from Stephanie nor anyone at Century 21. My agent and I called and emailed and never received a response from Stephanie. At this point, I feel like I was scammed out of my application fees. I am shocked that this is a legitimate Century 21 agency!!

I don't know about overall, but our listing agent Lisa Francheschi, was terrible. We followed all her suggestions for what we needed to do to sell the house. She knew we were on a deadline, but seemed to lose interest when it didn't sell in the 1st month. When we asked her what she was planning next, she asked US for suggestions. When she FINALLY did a Realtor Open House, she neglected to tell them about what we had already instigated to remodel to make the house more attractive - all the negative comments were about what we were already in the process of fixing, and Lisa knew it.. We were lucky to get a phenomenal realtor after we fired her, who got the house sold by utilizing HIS professional expertise and not relying on our amateur ideas!

Very very very very very badly
Description of Work: Lisa Francheschi was hired to sell our home in Goodyear, AZ. She did not do her job and cost us valuable months - we were trying to sell the home in Goodyear and buy a home in California. Lisa was not helpful in aiming us in the right direction and actively worked against us in a very petty manner when we flat out asked her what needed to happen in order to sell our house. She was more focused on being able to tell us "I told you so" than telling us straight out what we needed to do to sell the home - even when we asked point blank. DO NOT HIRE HER!!!!

I was assigned Realtor John Marselis. I signed a 3 month contract to sell my property. Initially he gave me comparisons showing that the property was worth a higher price than the listing price we initially put on it, because I wanted the property sold quickly. The first month was fine and he aggressively marketed the property and kept in touch with the progress. By the second month he wanted me to lower the price further, even though it was lower than his initial comps. When I refused because I needed to get a specific amount out of the sale he became aggressive and bullying. We received multiple offers but all were lower than the list price less an amount that I had for flexibility, and with each decline of the offer he bullied even more. He pushed to give additional commission to the selling agent to motivate them to push the house. I agreed but this didn't work either. However, we finally received an offer for full price with my substantial contribution to the buyer's closing costs...but it was still within my "flexibility" point so I agreed. However, problems only multiplied. The home was in escrow for almost 4 months!! The buyer, although pre-qualified did not qualify for multiple loans-not John's fault. However, what I did not like is how I felt that I was misinformed by John as to the progress in the first eight weeks of escrow; then bullied and manipulated to sign extension after extension in the belief that closing was "only days away". Meanwhile I am paying the mortgage, utilities, HOA and other expenses of the home without the sale or other income to cover these expenses. At the end the whole transaction fell through.
Description of Work: My agent was John Marselis of the same Real Estate company.

We had a great experience with Elizabeth Wilson. She can be reached at 480-677-9238 if you have real estate needs.
Description of Work: We used Elizabeth Wilson with Century 21, Az. Foothills for our realtor. She did an outstanding job of selling our home and helping us buy a new home. She also helped our daughter with a short sale. She worked so hard with the bank to get the short sale accomplished. We would strongly recommend her for any of your real estate needs but especially if you are doing a short sale!!.
