They did a fine and responsible job. They showed up on time and they packed my things reasonably well however they could have packed a few things more securely. Everything arrived okay. Nothing was broken nor scratched so they knew what they were doing. I did not think they were responsive to my emails.

Overall, I am very happy with going with Camelback, my only concern is that they weren't the cheapest place to go with. Now, I ended up going with them because of their reviews and ability to fit me in last second. The two movers did a great job making sure that everything was well wrapped and that nothing got damaged. Moving some of my stuff on the second story had to be hard, but they made it look pretty easy. If and when I move in the future, I will most likely use Camelback again just because I know that they will do a great job for a fair price. I just hate paying more then I have to.

From the beginning to the end of my move, everyone I dealt with at Camelback was outstanding. Alicia assisted me in my long distance quote, made arrangements for all the details of the move, promptly sent me all of the forms I needed to insure that my move was safe and would go without any problems or interstate conflicts, and also instructed me in anything I needed to be responsible for. Alicia did not miss a detail!. My move was also on somewhat short notice, nevertheless, it was completed with out complications. Steve was my actual mover, and head of the team who assisted him. Steve is a very seasoned mover, and was meticulous in his approach to carefully loading all of my precious furniture and belongings. Fortunately, Steve was also able to be at the unload site, which was personally helpful to me in terms of continuity. Due to moving from outside of Arizona and in a tight moving window, I took responsibility for my packing. However, anything I did not get packed, for whatever reason, was responsibly packed in wardrobe boxes that Camelback had arranged to let me use for the duration of my move. In 1991, I moved from Phoenix to Massachusetts. I must say, the difference in the two moves were like night and day; the move to MA was horrible, the move with Camelback from MA was fantastic! For the move to MA, I used a large national moving company. In that move, things were missing, broken, damaged, and the lack of cooperation to have needed repairs done was annoying. Additionally, what I found was that my extensive CD collection, which somehow went missing, was mysteriously not on the moving inventory of this national company I had used. However, on the cross-country move with Camelback Moving back to Arizona from Massachusetts, nothing was missing, everything was accounted for, and nothing was broken or damaged! Camelback Moving and Storage gave me, without a doubt, exceptional service from the very beginning to the end of my cross country move! I highly recommend Camelback to anyone moving in or out of Arizona!!!

These guys were awesome. They showed up on time, worked HARD the entire time they were on my properties and respected my home and family. I can't believe how quickly they moved my whole home. They were happy to heed my wife's feedback on placement of furniture and boxes, being sure to line things up just right. It was 110 degrees out and I didn't see these guys unprofessional for a second. I consider this the best money I have spent all year.

I can't comment on the moving because we called twice for a sales rep to visit and ZERO help. On the second call a person who seemed bothered said sales was busy, asked questions and said someone would call with a price that day. That was 48 hours ago, two other companies came to provide a price and one of them followed up with a call. They may be big but with this treatment I know not to sue them now - imagine when I was calling for service help! I'm out.

I've used Camelback moving several times over the past 10 years, mostly for office moves when I worked with a local non-profit. When it was time for my own personal move, I felt most comfortable with them - given that all of my past experiences have been pleasant ones. The process was very clear and streamlined from end to end. They were able to fit me on my preferred date, which was only a few days out, and even offered special pricing since it was a non-peak date. First and foremost they have a trip charge, plus the hourly rate, and that was it. I like that since there aren't a bunch of extra charges. The trip charge covers their supplies and all the common stuff, which I read online that some other movers will up-charge for. It also covers them getting to the job, so the clock truly starts when they arrive and you sign the documents. I advised them that I had recently installed new hardwood flooring at my new home, and they were exceptional to not only make sure the move order was noted - but to also suggest and offer to install felt pads on all of my furniture. They hipped me to the best place to pick up the pads (home depot), and sure enough the movers were eager to put them on without hesitation. The guys who came out to do the move were extremely friendly and careful, and I felt I could trust them to do their thing without constant supervision. The condo has a tight stairwell and there were a few scuffs on the wall. They weren't deep so I didn't even mention it since I will be going over the place with touchup paint anyway before I list it. I had one chair that shifted during transit and the side appeared damaged, however i was able to bend the piece back into place while discussing it with the mover so all was well. They do offer to refer you to several insurance companies if you want to opt for more than the industry standard coverages, which I appreciate having that option. Overall a very pleasant and stress free experience from start to finish.

they helped me pack the larger bulky items and move my stuff to both their storage unit and my new place. They were so nice and I loved the way they handled my stuff. I have recommend them to my friends.

These guys are by far the BEST movers I have ever used. They work incredibly fast (since they charge by the hour, this is very important), they wrap everything really well, and they are extremely polite and professional. They were also on time, nothing was damaged in the move. I would highly recommend them to anyone and if I need moving services in Phoenix again, they will be the only company I will call.

James and Frank were both very nice and professional, as was everyone at Camelback Moving. I went through a move just 1.5 weeks earlier with another highly rated mover and had a bad experience with their front office. But I cannot say enough good things about Camelback Moving. No hidden fees - no misunderstandings about rates and discounts - everything was up front and above board. All my possessions arrived undamaged and were moved much quicker than the other company that used 3 guys. I would highly recommend this moving company!!

We used this company to move us from Sedona to San Marcos one year ago and were very happy with them. When we were ready to move back to Arizona, we got many quotes from other companies, but decided to stick with what we knew. Also Camelback Movers was the most economical quote. We got quotes that were twice the price that Camelback quoted. I have to say that the actual men who moved us were excellent in every way. Very professional, polite and careful with our furniture. We had the same driver for both the move out and the move in. David was the best! The office staff was less precise as they failed to let David know that he had to bring wardrobes. Luckily I asked prior to his arriving so he purchased wardrobe boxes and brought them to the move. Moving can be very stressful, but both of our moves with Camelback went extremely well. I cannot say enough about the company. Of course one has to be a good packer/organizer. I box everything well and label it. We always purchase insurance even though we have only had to use it one time. We are not afraid of something being broken, but insure against a major truck wreck where everything is lost.

They were friendly and easy to work with. I have used them twice and they were great both times.

My sales rep, Trini, was professional and very helpful when I called numerous times with questions. He wasn't prompt returning phone calls, but, I think he was super busy and did his best. The crew that loaded up my house was terrific. Mike drove the truck and was the one in charge. They were late arriving for pick-up but moved quickly and got it done in much less time than estimated. He was right on time with delivery. There were a couple of things damaged at that end but he got his tools out and could repair most of the issues. He was pleasant and accommodating.

The move went well. There was nothing broken or damaged. The entire move took about eleven hours. The men must have been tired after all the work, but they just kept doing their jobs and their attitudes were always pleasant and helpful. These men were friendly, courteous, and professional. They knew exactly what needed to be done and they did it. Moving is difficult, at best, but Camelback Moving made it as easy as possible. Thanks.

The three person crew showed up on time. However, (1) way over estimate and incomplete.The actual hours spent were 1/3 more than estimated (I shopped around and the estimated was abut the same across the board). They left the washer and dryer in the garage (instead of the laundry room) claiming they would not pass the doorway. Afterwards, I called around and every appliance store told me that was unheard of. I ended up spending another couple of hundred dollars to hire someone else to move them into the laundry room. (2) unprofessionalI noticed at least one worker answered his personal phone calls during the move and forgot the whole tool set once at the old house ( I had to get it since they were behind schedule already) and once at the new house after they left.They were not careful with the furnitures. I had to point out to them that there was a huge gash on the BBQ grill cover. They also scraped paints off the desk edge and walls when they moved furnitures into the new house. (3) overall, it was not a pleasant experience and I totally regretted using them.

I found Camelback Moving on the web.I called them while living in Colorado and set the date for their 2 men to unload the U-haul truck in AZ. They were on time. They were young, maybe too young and wouldn't provide a good day's work. Boy did they disprove my thoughts! Those two young men worked hard, non-stop and it was hotter than Hades that day -- 117! The house had been shut for several weeks. It was a foreclosure, and it smelled like one too. They worked hard and long. The DID complain that the guys who packed the truck did a poor job as nothing was plastic wrapped and they wrapped everything! I very impressed. I saved all the information about the unloading. After 8 months, I have decided I miss my mountains too much. I am moving back to CO. I have called Camelback Moving. I hope those two young men are available to load the truck! After calling 3 other movers from Angie's List, Camel back gave me a very fair price. In fact they were $10.00 less expensive per hour than the competition. I already know how they work ( I hope I do NOT jinx this trip) and feel confident in their work ethic.

Arnold and Joe called ahead and arrived on time. They began the packing, which included virtually everything in the house including electronic equipment. The packing and loading phase started at 9am and finished around 5:30. The unloading phase started at around 6pm and they were finished at around 8:30, which included the reassembly of two beds with head and foot boards. They worked well together as a team and clearly enjoyed their work. Great personalities and professionalism. Everything arrived in tack and experience was a long day but a lot of stress removed from the chore of moving. I would definitely recommend them.

This is a delayed review as I did not locate this company here, but rather by word of mouth. My sister..who is a B**** to work with... suggested Camelback Movers. I figured if they could satisfy my sister, they MUST be good... which they were!!! Although the initial communication ( via Email) was a little delayed at first, the service itself was great. The guys arrived as expected and worked as a great team in the 100 degree heat.. they were careful with the items and very respectful and nice to work with. I could not have been happier.. I thought that our group of guys were exceptional. I suggest that rather then email..you just call the team via telephone... once I called them, everything was great... the amounts quoted and the time expected was right on the money. I will use them again this weekend for my next move!.

They were very good with their estimate when they came to talk to me. They came on time. They did what they said they were going to do. They were pleasant and hardworking. They were in and out and very unobtrusive. They were very good.

They did an excellent job. They showed up on time and shrunk wrapped everything. Nothing was damaged, so we were pleased.

The entire experience was absolutely excellent. The movers we exceptionally professional, experienced, and nice. There was no upselling whatsoever. The price they charge us was competitive. They completely undersold us and over-delivered. They were referred to us by friends who have used them twice in the past 3 years -- and their experience was excellent as well. Hopefully we will not be moving anytime soon, but when the time comes, Camelback will be the only moving company we call.

They were excellent. We have moved 17 times and this was the easiest. I wasn't there for this move my wife was, and she found them to be very helpful and understanding.

Everything went exceptionally well. The movers called to ask if they could show up early. Actual employees and not day laborers did the moving unlike a prior experience. They carefully padded and and wrapped my tv and stereo equipment. Free use of wardrobe boxes. Overall, I'd recommend them for a move.

I called the company with several questions and asked for a specific date to complete the move. I was pleased when the date I requested (near the end of the month) was available. However, when the actual movers showed up, they claimed that they couldn't park the truck in the front (a loading zone) and had to park about a block away (add a 5 minute walk to about 25 trips from the loft to the truck). Wondering why it was taking so long and a little annoyed at the time (I had a meeting to get to in the afternoon), I peered out the window of my building to see the two movers talking on their cell phones (instead of working). When they got to the new house, I told them to put everything in the front room and the I would move it later, to which one of the movers replied, "that's not fair, it costs you less." He wasn't trying to be funny. In addition to all this, they broke an expensive lamp in the hallway. I understand that accidents happen and I wasn't upset, as the foreman told me she would tell her management and that they would reimburse me for the lamp. I had to email the manager to get the lamp replaced. I also complained about the deliberately slow workers. I got no reply.
