We told Cactus Stone we wanted a black stone for our kitchen counter tops. They clearly understood that the tops were for our kitchen. The stone they sold us gets white blotches all over from anything acidic like even the slightest amount of lemon juice or tomatoes. It looks terrible and nothing we've tried will correct it. The stone simply is not suited for kitchen counter tops. The counter tops are built into our new cabinets and replacing the tops will cost us a lot of money, to say nothing of the aggravation and mess of having our kitchen torn up. Cactus's response to this situation is that they have no responsibility. They say the the customer makes the choice of the stone and if it doesn't work out, it isn't their problem. We believe that when we told them we wanted tops for our kitchen, they should have told us that the stone we picked out was not right for a kitchen.

It’s just because my contractor got the marble out in a better price that I didn’t use them but they were good and very helpful. They knew their product very well and were very knowledgeable. They had very unusual collection of marble. I found one marble which was exploring out very unusual. I would rate them high overall. I would consider in using them in the future if needed.
