DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. HIS QUOTES CHANGE AFTER THE FACT, HIS SKILLS ARE QUESTIONABLE AND HIS WORK ETHIC LEAVES MUCH TO BE DESIRED! I only wish that we could give this guy a negative star review. We had him do a couple of electrical jobs in our rental home when my husband was on the premises. For both of those jobs, he insisted that my husband go shopping with him to pick up the supplies. (Odd) With the first, he quoted a price and then added more when the job was done. When it came to the second we made it clear that he was not going to increase the price after the fact because he knew what he was working with and installing 2 recessed fixtures and a box for a fan should be a no brainer for an experienced handyman. And although he got the job done and accepted what he quoted, he bought and installed the wrong type of box for the fan--which he promised to rectify when he came back to paint our home--which is where is really went off the rails. He started working a day job, so his time was limited to evenings and weekends (when he showed up). His original quote included 2 coats of paint on the walls and, trim in all rooms in our house except the bedrooms and full bathrooms. He increased the quote a reasonable amount when we asked to have the ceilings painted in the same rooms. I am not sure what he had painted, but he seemed to think that 2 coats of paint was rolling it on and then immediately rolling again--which probably takes off more paint than put on. He complained that he had to go back after the paint had dried and do it again, when he should have rolled, let it dry and rolled again. On the day that he claimed to be done, he texted to say that we owed a balance that would bring the total for the job would be 50% more than his original quote. He sent pictures to show us what he had done, but it was clear that the ceiling was not painted. We called twice to discuss the job, but he refused to speak with us. When I asked via text if he had done the ceilings, he said that he had done the part that was in the diagram that my husband had provided to clarify which would be ceiling and which would be wall color above our staircase He was angry and rude. He said that we should pay him more because we knew that the quote was too low. In the end, I paid him the original quote for the walls and trim and an extra bit for the small area of ceiling that he painted. Because we live out of town-- --We have no idea of the quality of the job that he did. We know that we will have to hire someone else to complete the ceilings. --He did not rectify the wrong electrical box for the fan as promised. --We have no idea if he has done any damage to our house while he was there. BEWARE!
