Description of Work: We had them come out to give us a quote on new cabinets in a home we remodeled. We kept the current cabinets but would have used there services if we were going to get new cabinets. Jesus was very professional and always on time for appointments.

+ 0 moreBill came out and did a in home measure and provided us with samples of door styles and granite. The next morning I received his e-mail with a design and estimate for cabinets and granite....We decided to remove our soffits and add can lights which required an outside general contractor which Bill one that they use when these situations come up. I must say I was amazed at how smoothly everything went and Bill was there every step of the way, Unlike the big box stores that seem to forget about you once the collect the money..
Description of Work: Bill did a wonderful design for my new kitchen which I absolutely love. Bill took the time to explain in detail on how the entire process would take place. We were informed on what we would need to provide and what service would and would not be performed by Better Homes. The entire event took about 7 days from start to finish. If you are going to use this company I recommend Bill for his attention to detail and professional courtesy.... In my opinion the went above and beyond.

+ -1 moreThe house was purchased without a refrigerator, which later discovered is because the opening is a quarter inch off. I called to see about getting one cabinet modified, and was treated quite rudely and was basically asked why I was bothering them! You would think cabinet makers in this economy especially, would be willing to adjust a cabinet. The point of this review is to warn people if you are not getting a full blown fancy kitchen, you shouldn't bother contacting them. Be also warned if they are rude to one, they may be rude to others. Rudeness shouldn't be tolerated. Thank you for reading the review.

+ 1 moreThis project went very well considering the many contractors they had to work around and the quality of work we were looking for.
Description of Work: We bought a house that needed a lot of updating. We were going to wait with the cabinets and let the present ones make do. However, once we replaced all the flooring and windows and doors, we knew we needed to replace the cabinetry. Everything was already in such a mess, why move in and continue the mess. We figured it would take time too much time to order cabinets and get them installed in a timely manor. Well, we went to Better Homes Cabinets and found everyone to be very accomodating and yes, the cabinets could be installed in two weeks from start of project to completion. We thought this was a good opportunity. My husband and I have built two custom homes before, so we know what quality cabinets look and feel like. This company has a quick turnaround time because it has four selections to choose from which are custom made. On a scale of 1-10 we would give this quality an 8. All things considered in this project, the decision in the end was a 10 because of what we were looking for with limited funds and the time factor. They also had granite countertop choices available, which they did a good job templating, installing, and sealing. Our three bathrooms and laundry needed updating as well, so one of the benefits to our large order was all free sinks (7), stainless, and porcelain (our choice). The installers varied in abilities, but most were very good. We had to have them come back several times because of a cabinet that just wasn't right, but they never complained about our pickiness. Also, we needed the granite sealer to be cleaned up better, again, they did this without any complaints. They were definitely conscientious about good customer service.

+ 0 moreI am satisfied with the outcome. Initially, the installation crew missed sealing a few gaps and seams. They did return to fix the problem areas however, I had to call 3 times. The 3rd time I spoke with a different sales person. A week after installation, I discovered that not enough sealant was applied to the granite. I had paid for a sealant that had a warranty of 15 years and the granite was absorbing water after 5 minutes. When I called the original sales person, he acted annoyed. I don't know if he was annoyed with me or with the installers. Once again, I had to call a different sales person to get the installers to contact me to schedule an appointment. A second coat of sealant seems to have solved the problem. It is unfortunate that I had to call so many times to get my issues resolved.

Very competitive with other estimates we had received and they give you a free sink if you spend over a certain amount (they do not re- install the faucet or any hardware after the granite has been placed) The showroom is small but nice - kind of off the road and if you blink you miss it. Templates were made on Wednesday and the granite countertops were installed on Friday. The countertops are gorgeous. Took two men from about 9am-4pm to install. Bill was great to work with and I will be recommending them to others.

Description of Work: Nothing was done because of mix ups and confusion in my part of understanding the estimates. Everytime I called to try and speak and deal with Jesus, he first sent me different estimates of the jobs, however when I had other questions for different jobs to reduce the price and try to save, 1). they never mentioned about the discounts on your website, 2). he made is clear that if I wasn't going to be happy, then I should find someone else to work with. 3). It was un necessary for that company to allow any of their workers to speak or conduct themselves in such order no matter what they think because not every customer is going to be decisive right away and customers should have the right to get as many different quotes as possible for different jobs without being criticized for it.

+ -1 moreVery pleasant experience. We went to the Showroom on Black Canyon Highway without appointment. It's a small showroom but with a very good display of the different types of design they have. We were left looking as long as we wanted. When we were ready with questions, someone was available quite quickly. They had 3 people helping with clients at the time. We had the dimensions of our kitchen and the person went right away on his computer and was able to give us 3 different estimates depending on the type of door design we chose. This company has very competitive prices for what I think is good quality products. They also sell granite countertops. Their choice of products is, may be, a bit limited (it may have changed since we went there) but I believe it's what allows them to offer such good prices. The delays they offer for installation are quite short. I can't comment on the quality of installation because since we had color constraints, we decided to go for a different manufacturer. However, they are still on my list of potential providers because of their prices and their delivery speed they offer.

We want to make some changes and Mike was very easy to work with. After we paid the deposit they had the cabinets installed four days later the the granite installed two days after. Their installer were very friendly and did an outstanding job. The whole process was much easier and faster than we thought possible. Thanks for the great experience Mike.

+ 2 moreThey came out and measured our kitchen, then designed it on the computer so we can see it in 3D. We picked their Butterscotch cabinet for the price and the built quality. For the granite we chose Kashmire Gold. After we signed the contract they scheduled our kitchen for the following Monday. They were very punctual with every step of the process. Their installers did an awesome job with the cabinets and the granite. We had brand new cabinets and granite counter tops in our kitchen by Thursday afternoon. They did everything they said they would do and we couldn't be any happier with our beautiful new kitchen.
