HORRIBLE. My cross country move in July was a disaster with Baringer Moving Services. I paid $4500 the day the contract was signed and the other $2000 was to be paid at the end of the move. Stewart Baringer was supposed to arrive on Thursday morning, but due to missed and canceled flights, Stewart arrived on Friday. Stewart and another inexperienced young man arrived at 4:00 pm instead of that morning but Stewart called that morning wanting me to wire $1,000 to him so he could get a truck and come to the house out of Nashville, which I did costing me an extra $86 to do so. I asked him how long it would take, and he informed me it would be 3 to 4 hours, but at 10:30 pm the truck was finally loaded. I was also asked to pay the additional $1000, rest of the contract, so that Stewart and the other young man could get back to Arizona. He arrived a day late, on Sunday not Saturday, and sent 5 "experienced movers". 3 out of the 5 "movers" were on their very first job for Baringer Moving Services, and another had worked twice for him. When the door was opened to the truck, furniture was all over the place in complete chaos. There were many pieces broken including antiques damaged and one antique with a hole in it, while our white leather couches were not wrapped and had red stains on them from other pieces that had sweated on them. We have patiently tried to work with him on repairing and resolving this problem, as he stated the day of delivery that he "WOULD MAKE THIS RIGHT", but to no avail with nothing being taken care of, it is now December and our move took place in July. He said he would replace, repair, and turn it into insurance but five months have gone by with multiple phone calls and text messages to Stewart and Laura Hodges Regnier, Stewart's co-owner, and nothing has been resolved or even attempted to "MAKE THINGS RIGHT" by Baringer Moving Services. The last contact with Stewart, we were informed that there was a check of $704.00 that was supposed to have been sent to us from his alleged insurance. We are still waiting on this check of $704 and he informed us that he had moved back to Michigan as he was driving in icy roads and couldn't talk to call back in 20 minutes so he could, he didn't answer when the call was returned in 20 minutes time. There have been other phone calls made since and he has not returned any. Please return to this review as I will update this IF Stewart does "MAKE IT RIGHT".
