AZs Best Pipe Doctor Plumbing LLC

I wasn't pleased with the workmanship of Pipe Doctor Plumbing. I had to call them back. He didn't do the job the way that he told me he was going to do it. It came out differently and I had to call him back to kind of fix what he had done incorrectly. We're not very well pleased with him. He was highly recommended, but we were not pleased with the work he had completed. I'm not unhappy with the heater or the water heater. It's the whole house system. He had to put a gas pipe in and we talked about how he was going to put it in and where he was going to run it and how it would be hooked up. When his son came to do the work, he said they weren't going to do it that way and they were going to put it somewhere else, over the top of the roof and run it down through to the laundry room, which was halfway across the house and it doesn't have a crawl space, so we had to figure out a way to do it. They decided to run it on the outside of the roof, when I wanted it run underneath the patio roof, where it could be boxed in, but they didn't do it my way, the way the owner and I had talked about it. So, someday, I'll probably hire someone to come and do it the way I wanted it done. That's the way he priced it to me, but when they came to do it, they just arbitrarily did it that way. We were gone at a doctor's appointment when they started, but when we came back, the heater wasn't were it was supposed to be and the treatment system was not were it was supposed to be, so I made them move it that day. They weren't very happy about it. So, the rest of the work was kind of done slam-bang. The owner was a very nice man. He came and gave us a price and talked about how we'd do the whole works. We had it all laid out. When they came, they didn't do it the way it was laid out and I'm not very happy about it. Also, a couple of the parts weren't even fastened up. They were just hanging there and they'd rattle. So, I made them come back out and remount the filter and they reattached the pipes and put some more straps on them. The main plumbing pipe that came in was loose and the gas line was just hanging there. It just wasn't very good workmanship.

I called to get a quote for having a gas line run to my kitchen. Chris called me back promptly and came out same-day. He was very creative in trying to find the best solution. In the end, the job is just too costly for what I had in mind, but I plan on hiring Pipe Doctor for some plumbing work related to my kitchen and bath renovation.

I tried to replace shower stems and kitchen faucet on my own - no dice! The shower handles wouldn't come off and the nuts holding the kitchen faucet to the sink would not budge. My call to Pipe Doctor Plumbing was handled professionally and Nick was assigned to my job. He arrived on time and set right to work. He had the tools to pull the shower handles off and was quickly finished with the shower. The kitchen sink was a little more challenging! He tried to unscrew the nuts from under the sink but they wouldn't budge for him either. Ended up having to cut the old faucet housing so he could bend it up and then was able to break the nuts off the faucet from the top, through the holes in the sink. He then installed the new faucet I had already purchased. Nick was skilled and professional - he worked quickly and efficiently. Pipe Doctor Plumbing is my company of choice for any plumbing issues I will have in the future.

The plumber called before as requested and arrived on time. He was pleasant explained the job to be done and did it. The pipe bibs look great and the hose fits. Before I had problems with some squashed thread.

I called 4 plumbing contractors on Angie's List and Pipe Doctor was the first to return my call. Nick came out the following morning, and although he was initially doubtful that he could repair it (because the flex tube connectors were built into the unit), he fixed the problem by disassembling some fittings he had on his truck and rebuilding the connectors on the reverse osmosis unit. The only delay in completing the job came because he was missing one part and had another scheduled appointment to get to. But he came back mid-afternoon and completed therepairs. Due to the age of the RO unit, Pipe Doctor could not warranty the repairs, but if the leak continues they would credit the repair bill towards the installation of a replacement. Fortunately, there have been no leaks. I would use Pipe Doctor again.

I left a message requesting work to be done, and I got a call the next day to schedule the service. Set up an appt for 9:00 am the next week. Called a little before 9:00 on the day of service to give me ETA. Showed up when he said he would. Answered all of my questions and let me look over his shoulder while he was working. Completed the work in about 15 minutes. Everyone with whom I interacted from Pipe Doctors was extremely polite and professional. Very satisfied with my experience. Will definitely use Pipe Doctor again.

Nick was excellent. He was informative and knowledgeable, explaining the possibility of problems before he began work on the bathroom sink drain. I will call this company again whenever I have plumbing issues.

They were very good. They were prompt, courteous, easy to work with and get along with. He gave good advice. That's probably the best experience I had.

We do not live in Phoenix (have a home here), so getting an assessment options done, and timing of work completed while in Phoenix was important. Chris (owner) was great, clear in explanations on the assessment; Christopher, his son, did the work and he was excellent as well. Overall the experience was excellent; AZ Pipe Doctor is great with letting you know what the likely cost range will be, options for controlling costs and getting the work completed to satisfaction. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing and plumbing-related work. One minor inconvenience was getting the paperwork done on time. They have had a change in their accounting staff and are still challenged in getting paperwork back in a timely manner. This does not change my view of the company.

Arrived on time, very pleasant got right to work finished quickly and made for an ideal experience. I will use their services again.

They replaced my kitchen faucet. The water shutoff valve turned out to be rusted through and when the plumber tried to turn off the water the valve broke off. He replaced that too and only charged me a small amount for the new part and did the labor for free. I was very happy with their service.

I used Pipe Doctor 2 times in the past month, Nick came out both times and did a very good job. I had a leak in 2 bathrooms and a leak in my wall. The lady in the office (I forgot her name) was also very nice and helpful.

We had a significant shower faucet leak develop just a few hours prior to our needing to leave to catch a flight for our vacation. The only plumber I could find that would commit was Chris Rusnell ("Pipe Doctor Plumbing"). Chris dropped an existing job so he could take care of our predicament. He came through with flying colors. He did a great job and charged a reasonable fee for an "emergency" call-out on a Saturday afternoon. Thanks Chris!

Appointment booking was quick and easy. Chris turned up on schedule and completed the initial job giving me advice and recommendations along the way. Excellent work and now having a water treatment system installed shortly. Also may consider a tankless water heater later in the year. Overall very professional and friendly would definitely recommend.

It was an excellent experience. Chris was on time, did his job, and and even looked around our house and gave us some advice for some thing that might need changed in the future.

He was the third plumber who went to our house for the same problem. He fixed it for only 2 seconds only to find out that it was not turned on. He was upset that it took three plumbers to solve it. He doesn't want to take the money for the service. So he asked me if I still have other work for him to do. He was so helpful. He showed me when to put salt in and added a bag of salt. He even carried a sack of salt which was in the garage cause it was too heavy for me to lift. He was so kind. So he did all that and got it in good shape. It was really nice.

The faucet in the bathroom came disconnected from the line. I needed the faucet, because it's used by a family member recovering from pneumonia. When I called originally, they said they were booked until the 4th. When I explained it was an emergency due to the circumstances, they had a person change appointment times, and worked me into the schedule. Nick fixed the problem, and explained how it happened. He wrote down exactly where I could buy the part and how to install it. The problem was caused by shoddy work by the remodelers I used. He even took the time to show me exactly what they did incorrectly.I now only use Angie's List A contractors!!!!! These folks are "top of the line" from the initial phone call to solving the problem!!!!!!!!!!!
