Chris did a great job. We had a handle broken off a shower, resulting in the only way to shut the shower was to turn off the house water. I called him on a Sunday night and it was repaired on the following Monday. He replaced the stem of the valve, allowing us to operate the shower with a wrench until a new trim piece could be installed. He offered to order and install the trim piece, but recommended for me to do it myself, as I could find it cheaper and it was an easy install. I appreciate his recommendation that cost him a return trip but saved me money. I will use Chris every time I need plumbing. Thanks

Use an "Angie's List" special to replace a leaking spigot outside which they did to our satisfaction. Since he, Christopher, were here we asked him if he did water heater work and he did so we had him look at our heater which we were thinking of replacing. He found some corrosion on the inlet and we decided to replace it. We made an appointment for him to remove and replace it the next week. He showed up at the appointed time, remove the old heater, replaced it with a new Rheem 50 gallon gas water heater, cleaned up and even took the old heater with him, all in about an hours worth of time. The new heater is awesome as we no longer run out of hot water and its hotter than we anything we got out of the old heater and our gas bill is lower.

I have tried several times to call these people, and they have not responded. Nobody answered the phone. They were very busy with emergencies and other stuff. I called them three times and I even e-mailed them, but I still did not get a response.

Exceeded my expectations. The job took far less time than I expected and the quality of workmanship was exceptional.

Christopher arrived on time and went right to work. He was quick efficient and courteous. He pointed out that the inlet line on one of my toilets was already developing a leak, so I was none too soon doing this maintenance job. (the house is 15 years old) The quarter-turn hose bibbs are easier to operate and no more leaking at the faucet end when watering or washing the car. And I will feel better leaving on a vacation knowing that these water inlet lines are new braided steel lines that won't flood my house while I am gone.

I called Pipe Dr and got an appointment for the next day. The plumber called to say he would be late because of the previous job (no big deal). Chris arrived and I showed him the problem, he said the rod that's used to plug the sink would need to be replaced and that he had the parts in his truck. I also informed him that I tried to shut off the water from under the leaky sink but the knobs were stuck tight and I asked him to check the faucet outside because it leaked. He quickly went to work on replacing the parts to the sink, loosening the knobs under the sink and replacing the outside faucet, it all took less than an hour. Chris advised the need to replace the lines to the sink and toilet and probably other lines in the house because the type of lines we have are outdated. Overall, the service was great. Aside from not arriving at the scheduled appointment time, I will still give an excellent rating because as he explained his reason for running late, I didn't feel he was being dishonest; which is very important to me for the sake of being mislead in the past from other contractors. I would definitely use Pipe Dr again.

Awesome experience. Called this morning (6/6/13) and was told the plumber would arrive between 11 and Noon. Nick arrived at 11:30. He was professional and courteous. He identified the issue, offered 3 options/solutions and fixed the problem. He went across town to get the part I wanted and was done by 1pm. Great experience and would definitely recommend and use anytime I have a plumbing issue.

Christopher was on time, very courteous, very knowledgable. When he found out I was an Angie's List member he gave me the Angie rate of $69/hour instead of his regular $94/hour. He fixed the problem- I would definitely call him again.

I called and left a message and got a return phone call from Chris same day. He was able to make an apt that worked for us. I got a call close to the visit time that the plumber was running 30 minutes late and it was not a problem. Plumber Christopher came out and looked at our current equipment. He climbed up to see the top of the water heater and took pictures so I could see it without having to climb. The water heater had not been working properly and was literally making a banging noise day and night. We had another plumber out two months prior for the same problem and he changed the recirculating hot water pump that did nothing to fix the problem. We had renters in the home at the time so did not realize that the hot water was not working until we arrived in May. Christopher gave us options with prices for water softeners and water heating systems. I explained that I am considering putting in a laundry sink at another date and he looked at the possible hook-ups and gave us a rough estimate on that project. We made an appointment for the next day and Christopher arrived on time and installed the new equipment. He was careful when removing the old equipment and cleaned everything up. We purchased extra filters and Christopher showed how to change them while I took notes. He answered all of my questions and best of all everything worked great and fixed the problem. I have already given his name out to two people in the area.

I purchased an Angie's Deal and immediately scheduled it. Chris was out within a couple of days and completed the repairs. While here, we also had him give a quote on installing a clean-out drain (older house, no clean-out drain), and the quote was extremely reasonable. I would definitely use Chris again for any of our plumbing needs.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The faucet installation was $99 each. I paid an extra $160 for the additional work. There was a really nice girl working in their office and she hasn't been answering her phone so I don't know if she is on vacation. I have been playing phone tag with them.

By far the best experience I've had to date with an Angie's List vendor. I contacted Pipe Doctor Plumbing and immediately spoke to Chris, the owner. The handle to my bathroom faucet had become dislodged and I requested service. Chris kindly asked me to take a picture of the faucet and text him. Within 30 seconds, he called back and stated "I think I can walk you through this process so you don't get billed a service call" - Whoa. Typical Angies Deal is a bait & switch opportunity to up sale you, but I was really blown away by an owner who cared more about customer retention than making money. Needless to say, he walked me through the steps and my faucet was fixed in 10 minutes. He requested no money, just simply asked that I extend him a review here which he absolutely deserves. Pipe Doctor Plumbing just earned a long-term customer. Without hesitation, I will be calling Chris for any plumbing related needs I may have in the future. Thanks, Chris!

Plumber was polite, professional and punctual but it took weeks to get a quote. The installation was a bit sloppy (big hole left round pipe) and still no response about cleaning it up. Biggest frustration was I did not get a receipt upon completion of work which was needed for rebate applications. After multiple calls I received an email receipt that was useless and could not be used as proof of purchase. After persisting (calling daily) I finally received the needed receipts 45 days after installation.

It’s one of the best experiences that I’ve ever had. I got a bid from another plumber which was over a $1000 for the same service that was performed. I liked everything about him. He was honest and he knew what he was talking about. He was punctual and he knew where to get parts that nobody else could get. He saved me a ton of money. I will definitely use him again in the future.

We were having some major problems with plumbing in our hall bath and minor problems in our master bath. We called them back and the same service person came and did the work needed. I had decided that when we had that work done I wanted to put in new handles (trim pieces) in the showers and the tub. The ones I ordered did not fit properly and the tech gave me specifics to use in ordering replacements. When the new trim arrived we called the company and they sent the tech again to install all the new trim pieces. They look great! Work great! Very happy.

I found this referral from Angie's List. We had a leak in a plumbing line to one of our apartments. My husband called Pipe Doctor, they sent out a repairman to give us an estimate (same day as when my husband had called them). Serviceman told my husband that he would fax him an estimate that same evening. It never happened. I called Pipe Doctor next morning at 8:00 am, was guaranteed the estimate would arrive very shortly. I was told the same thing at 11:00am, and again at 2:00pm. At this point I told the rep from Pipe Doctor that I had specifically chosen Pipe Doctor from Angie's List. The guy did not seem concerned about this. An hour later, he emailed my husband a quote that was 50% higher than another quote we received from another plumber. When my husband asked if there was any way they could adjust the bid, the rep told my husband he would call the next morning to adjust this high bid. Pipe Doctor never called us back.

Gentleman was on time and was very professional. Would definitely use Pipe Doctor again.

The pipe coming out from my wall was bent (prior to this service), and I purchased this deal really to just get a professional plumber out there in hopes of them being able to fix that. I was not home at the time of service, but I asked my wife to ask them to do that. They said that they couldn't do it because it was not written up in their service call, and that it would take breaking into the wall, and left it at that. They provided no estimate to actually do the job right. I could have replaced the bib myself for about one fourth the cost of this "deal". I just wanted a professional to come out, and deal with the bent pipe that needed to be cut and soldered. Other than this, there was really no problem with the quality of their work. They screwed the new bib on just fine, and it doesn't leak anymore.
