AZ EZ Yard

I first contacted Steve Hawkins, owner of AZ EZ yard after reading his ad. The service ( blowing of the yard) was mainly what I need most. It sounded like a great alternative to the conventional lawn maintenance service. We agreed upon a time to visit my property and discuss my needs. Well, he was a no show due to "miscommunication" which should have warned me off. But no, I rescheduled and we did meet at my home and agreed upon a 6 week service cycle and went over all of the plants which I would like cut and how in the future. The first service day scheduled I had previously told Steve that I wouldn't be home, but I would leave the gate open for his people to please come in and take care of the yard. I had even authorized a bill pay so that they would be paid for that visit upon completion. When I returned home, I knew that the yard was not done. Steve said they had come to the door, rang the door bell but no one was home so they left. I knew I wouldn't be home that is why I told them they had permission to come in and I purposely left the gate open. They did come the following week and the service was completed. Between that service and today, I should have had 5 more visits based on the agreed upon cycle. They only showed up 3 more times. On one of the visits, Steve called to ask me "what happened to my pool". He wasn't even at the correct address. He was doing my neighbors yard. On the last scheduled visit, a man showed up and said he was here to do my yard but was waiting for Steve to come also. He said he was new and didn't know what to do. I told him he could start in the front and cut the brittle bush and lantana. He didn't know what I was talking about. Apparently they hire people to take care of plants that they haven't a clue what they are called much less how to take care of them. I went outside and walked him through what to do and how to trim. He trimmed the 2 (took 45 minutes) rang my doorbell and said that he was leaving. Steve hadn't shown up and he wouldn't answer his calls or call him back. He left the debris and left my property.
