Since I don't live in the provider's service area (central Phoenix), they gave me a super high bid of $600 minimum. Since this price is out of the question to trim one medium sized eucalyptus tree, I didn't use this company. If you live 15 miles from this provider like I do, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Well that's just the problem. They do not seem to be interested in doing my work. Apparently they have one person, Tim, who does all the scheduling and he has been out with the flu for a week. But I contacted the front desk three weeks ago and placed a work order for tree spraying and have checked with the front desk 2 or 3 times in the last three weeks and was told Tim has the work order. Tim has not contacted me even once to talk to me about scheduling or even to let me know what the status of my work order is. I asked the front desk if they preferred not to do residential and assured that they do residential not to worry. I think that this lack of responsiveness is very unprofessional and will be searching Angie's list to try to find help somewhere else to address the pest problem in my ash trees while I wait to see if and quot;Timand quot; ever calls! Update: After the third week with no communication from the company, I called on Friday and the person on phone said that even though Tim was out ill he might be able to get the and quot;fertilizer guyand quot; to come by the next day, Saturday, I said, ah no, let Tim rest and get well and I will hear from you guys next week. At this point, of course, I had no written proposal and didn't know what exactly they expected the fertilizer guy to do on Saturday. After that weekend passed I called on Tuesday and asked to speak to the scheduler himself. He was at the office but did not wish to speak to me and I was again told by a person (female) that there was no indication when he might be able to schedule me. Going on four weeks was too much so I said forget it. I think all of this could have been avoided if the company had had someone keep me updated and had acted like they valued me as a customer and wanted my business. I subsequently hired another company and was given prompt and courteous service. What a relief!

Gave estimate and then came back with a crew of about 3 to do the job. Did a good job. Cheaper than another bid.

Two workers came in something like a small dump truck. They set-up a large wood chipper so that chips would land on my already wood-chip layered driveway. The lead worker allowed me to show and tell him the work I expected to have done that morning, confirming my statements with his notes. As they commenced working, I found they were done before I knew it, maybe 35-45 minutes. Work was completed as I'd requested, debris in yard and street was promptly cleared, and they headed out. I felt the two workers were organized and efficient in their approach, quiet on and respectful of the property and neighboring properties. I will have my backyard trees cut down sometime this September, plus, other tree projects were discussed with the intent of our working together long-term. I am very, very happy to have met these folks (Tim and Karen Johnson and their employees).
