Description of Work: The owner came to my home and gave me a quote on some work I would like to have done. I did not get the work done as it was much more than I anticipated. He gave me some other options and ideas and was very friendly and professional.

Description of Work: Arrowhead did a great job replacing my cool deck. They showed up on time everyday, cleaned up after themselves and made sure my pool was not filled with the detritus from the job. John was great to work with and was not high pressure at all. We had a much cheaper quote from someone else, but the reviews on Angie's list convinced me that price shouldn't be the deciding factor. In addition to the deck, they also did the front entryway. Looks great, we've had tons of compliments on it.

John and the three workers were professional, polite and skilled at their work. John came back to check out the work and answered any final questions. I would highly recommend them. A+

Description of Work: We got an estimate for our Kool deck repair. While the Arrowhead rep who visited was professional and courteous, we decided to postpone the project until next year.

Description of Work: resurfaced patio concrete and front walk--added color |It went well-took a little longer than I thought it would-----but I am very satisfied=have some future work in mindaandf I will use this contractor again

Description of Work: Services performed: Estimate-- John came out and gave me an estimate for fixing my back patio and front walk as I had hired a horrible contractor ("Mike Z") previously to put down an overlay and stain. So, Do: Hire John of Arrowhead Deck Resurfacing. Don't: Do not hire "Mike Z of CBC" the first guy that shows up on a google search. Removing old overlay-- John had to remove all of the bad overlay that "Mike Z" put down, which took him 11 hours! Do: Hire John to fix your old patio. He will do it the right way. New patio overlay-- John put down the new overlay and showed me different troweling textures. I told him what liked and didn't like about the different textures. We put my cat's paw prints in the overlay. Additionally, John had shown me a few samples of his work regarding texture during the interview. Do: Hire John to give you a nice textured overlay. Don't: Hire "Mike Z," he does not know what he doing regarding texture, covering the entire surface, or cutting the edges. Staining the overlay-- John had shown a few samples of color and blended colors. I also told him and showed him what I was looking for regarding color. Earth tone was a key for me as "Mike Z" given me a bright orange patio that was suppose to be an earth tone terra cotta. I am very pleased with the color John made. He mixed and blended three different colors to achieve the earth tone, rusty brown - terra cotta color that I had wanted and ordered from "Mike Z." Do: Hire John if want someone that can blend colors, has talent, and listens to you - the customer. Don't: Hire "Mike Z" he can not blend colors, he says it very difficult. "Mike Z" will insist that you chose one color and when he can't make that one color turn out like the sample color or his pictures... "Mike Z" will tell you that you can not rely on his pictures. "Mike Z" will tell you that bright orange IS terra cotta. "Mike Z" will insist that you picked this color. "Mike Z" will tell you that he can not fix or tone down the bright orange. All the while "Mike Z" is telling you things he is doing it with anger, obstinate, and hostility. Clear coat-- John put down two coats of a clear sealer. He told me to make sure my furniture had the plastic feet - no sharp metal to scratch the sealer. I wouldn't have thought that. He said that rubber backed mats are not good to use on the patio either. Good to know. Do: Hire John to do or fix your patio. He does great work, treats you with respect, and follow ups with you. He wants happy customers. Don't: Hire "Mike Z." "Mike Z" only cares about himself and hustling more money out of you! I did not permit "Mike Z" to seal his bright orange mess of a patio. Follow up-- John gave me a call a couple days later to see how we were liking the patio and if we had any concerns or questions.

Description of Work: We called John Trice's company to come out and give us an estimate to resurface our pool cool decking. He came out on the day he said he would and gave us a fair estimate we felt was reasonable. He came back out on the day he said he would to start the project. They power washed the cool deck, then put a clear coat down and finished with the color paint to finish the job.

Description of Work: The deck needed to be removed in sections but John worked with me on my budget so we didnt need a full removal. His crew was always on time. Owner was on-site through the whole process. I was impressed with his knowledge and input. Its exactly what we wanted and exceeded our expectations. Not the cheapest quote we recieved but I am glad we went with Arrowhead Deck.
