Arizona Solar Solutions

One of the worst experiences with a company I have ever had. While installing my solar panels the workers spilled bright green paint on my Trex deck, I don't know why they were painting the pipes on the roof with bright green paint in the first place, my roof is a dark green and gray. They did try to wipe it up but of course that didn't work, it only smeared it more. The first solution was to just turn the boards over and hide it, the second solution was to send someone up to acid wash it, the third solution was to treat and paint it with 'Deck Over' from home depot. Even after I talked to the Trex manufacturer who said DO NOT PAINT it. I asked repeatedly for it to be replaced as it was ruined, but was assured this was the right thing to do. I live alone and have three dogs, the reason I got the Trex in the first place was to add value to my home, allow my dogs to be on the deck and not be worried about them harming it and to have no follow up maintenance for a long time. Needless to say, after one winter in Flagstaff and three dogs, the deck is ruined, totally ruined. It has not added value to my home, but has become a liability and will have to be replaced before it can be sold. The paint is peeling and is scratched every where, I don't even want to think about what I would have to do to fix it, including not allowing my dogs to be outside for a period of 8-10 hours. I asked repeatedly for the right thing to be done and was assured this was the fix I needed. Besides that, the savings they promised me has not materialized and will not materialize in my lease time. They did offer me a 12 month discount on my lease, saving me about $30 a month, but $360 over a 20 year period is not going to really matter and will not pay for the deck they ruined. I would not recommend this company to anyone, be careful about their quality of work, and their willingness to fix things they mess up.

We wanted to go solar and they did a fantastic job of getting the program that will work for our house and our lifestyle.

It did not go quite as well as I hoped. The timeliness was very poor. They did not show up at the scheduled time and would work very late into the night. I think they may have been buried in work and trying to do too much. Their communication was also very sketchy.

We signed up for solar with this company and was told installation would be in January. Then it would be Feburary then March. We called and emailed the company rep that signed us up but he never would return our calls or email. Now on March 7, 2013, the leasing company, they signed us up with, sent us a letter saying they can't do it for the price that our contract says. They want us to sign a release. Not once did Arizona Solar Solutions call or write us to tell us that there was a problem. They did this to several of our neighbors. (There were 4 of us that signed up at the same time). They handled this very badly. We still have not heard anything from Arizona Solar Solutions. Very unprofessional company, would never do business with this company. On July 15th a rep. from Arizona Solar Solutions came by and gave us a gift certificate and said they were sorry for the way we were handled and that the rep. that had signed us up was no longer with the company. I was very please with the way they handled this.

Initial contact with this company was through Phx Home show (Sept 2012). Rep came to community and then to home (Oct 11). Rep provided an estimate, registered me at solar cell provider website and promised follow up. No follow up occurred. I contacted Solar Solutions through internet approx. two weeks later. Individual called and promised research. New rep called back about a week later, was surprised that no contact had been made, and promised to continue following the case. Nothing to date.

INSTALLATION OF A SKY LIGHT IN THE MASTER BATHROOM GAVE US NATURAL LIGHT. THEIR TECHS INSTALLED THE TUBULAR SKYLIGHT IN APPROXIMATELY 2 HOURS AND WE WERE HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK AND THE IMPACT IT HAD ON THE ROOM LIGHTING.
