Description of Work: Came out to give an estimate. Were professional, knowledgeable, and on time. Were not picked to do the job, but very little separated them from one picked and would certainly consider them for another similar job.

All in all, this was the best work crew we have ever had working for us. We were told in advance who was coming and when they would be there. The three got along beautifully and shared the work equally. They patiently answered all of our questions. One of the windows in the twelve foot high area had been installed in a very "creative" manner and was really difficult to remove. It was approached with a "these things are all in a day's work" attitude even though it meant standing on a ten foot ladder for an extended period of time. All glass and waste were cleanly removed. The finished job was beautiful. I am planning to have an entry door put in soon and am looking forward to working with Robert Andrews once more. We highly recommend him to even the most exacting customer. Andrew and Marion Conti.
Description of Work: Robert Andrews and his two assistants , Lori and Jeff, installed 9 windows and 1 sliding door for us on May 5, 2015. They were prompt, worked very efficiently, and worked well together. One could see, by their interaction with one another (and us as well) that they knew their work and enjoyed doing it. Mr. Andrews helped us choose the windows and the sliding door we needed. He made sure the He was very honest and upfront about what was needed and what was not necessary. He made sure that the colors matched our existing windows. We asked to have a large picture window in the bathroom replaced. After checking it out, he said there was no need to replace it. It was a perfectly useful window which did not need replaced. The replacement would have cost nearly $800. Some of the windows had water damage and our installers repaired that damage.

Our experience with Arizona's Best Windows was great. We were able to send our window measurements to them on their website and receive a no hassle initial cost estimate. We had several other companies out and sat through 1-2 hour sales pitches. After submitting my window measurements, I received a detailed preliminary quote for the windows. The pricing fell in line with our budget and we then called to get a final quote and measurement. Robert came out to take the final measurements soon after and there was a slight increase from the original estimate due to the type of windows and location (all windows were on 2nd story). This was understandable and didn't impact our decision to proceed with the work. After the final measurements we put down about 25% whereas others were asking for 50%, another nice surprise. From there we scheduled the window install a few weeks out. Robert showed up as scheduled for the install with a helper and changed out the windows in the time frame described. It took a little less than 2 days to replace all 9 windows. Upon completion, we made the final payment. Overall, we are very happy with Arizona's Best Windows. It's only been a few days since the install so we'll see how things hold up over time but they definitely look great for now.

Absolutely A++. I could not be happier with the work and the new windows. Robert listened to my request thoroughly, explained the options of window manufacturers, the windows and frames, and made a recommendation of the window that would best fit our needs. We replaced older low efficiency windows with new high-efficiency windows with the goal of making several rooms notably more comfortable in our Arizona summer. Arizona Best Windows was able to match existing window styles very well, at a very reasonable price, but with a window that was so dramatically more efficient that we debated whether or not to put the curtains back up! The installation went very smoothly and qickly, and the installers were delightful and very professional. My only possible complaint would be that I didn't call sooner - I expect significant utility bill savings from this upgrade.

Our 50-year-old Knoell-built block home, plus wood frame addition, included a motley assortment of single pane aluminum sliders, wood casement windows, and ill-fitting and energy inefficient vinyl windows - some original to the home and some purchased either from one of the big box stores or from a local building materials recycle store. My husband and I attempt, and for the most part have succeeded at, a variety of do-it-yourself projects; however, we opted to defer to the professionals for the installation of our windows. We spoke with neighbors and friends who had replaced their original windows – including professional installations, do-it-yourself installations, and installations by hired handymen. As well, I researched the remodeling and design forums I frequently visit, and review sites such as Angie’s List and others, to become educated on the many options available to us. It was primarily from the online research that we learned about Simonton Windows. We had never heard of this window company and were familiar only with the brands advertised in design/dand eacute;cor magazines or whatever brands are available off-the-shelf at the big box stores. We were looking for a quality vinyl replacement window that was appropriate for the value of our home (modest home in an area of well kept primarily owner occupied homes), energy efficient, and budget friendly. Simonton Windows was frequently cited as a solid company that offers quality vinyl replacement windows. Reviews for Arizona’s Best Windows were all favorable, both on Angie’s List and another review site, so we decided to call Robert Andrews. To be fair, other quality window installation companies and window manufacturers were represented on these review sites, but Robert and Arizona’s Best Windows was to be our first call. At our initial meeting, Robert explained the construction and benefits of the Simonton DaylightMax 7300 Window (sample brought). He was thorough, articulate, and down-to-earth. He demonstrated a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of his own brand as well as brands represented by his competitors. Of equal importance to us, Robert demonstrated sensitivity and respect for our budget. We explained that our windows replacement project would need to be done incrementally. We discussed function, efficiency, aesthetics, installation time frame - Simonton has a fast lead time – service after the sale, and warranty support. During our meeting, I also stated that we had intended to speak with other window companies, and I showed Robert some of the ads and brochures I had collected. He looked them over and kindly suggested the types of questions and issues we should discuss with these other companies. At absolutely no time during our meeting did Robert pressure us, either subtly or overtly, to choose his company. He said nothing negative about competing window companies and, in fact, offered to inquire with another company in town (a competitor) about specifications and price for a garden window. (Simonton’s price for the garden window was greater than our budget could support at this time.) His quote for installation of all the intended replacement windows was within the predetermined budget we had set - a figure arrived at after more research on the internet. We were very comfortable with Robert Andrews/Arizona's Best Windows and Simonton Windows, and we opted to not contact other companies for quotes. We scheduled the first phase – replacing two windows in my husband’s office/work area and replacing one window in our dining room. Simonton Window’s warranty support was tested during the installation of a large window in my husband’s office. The installation was nearly complete when Robert pointed out some black scuff marks on the exterior vinyl and some small scratches in the glass, which likely occurred during shipping. Robert said this was unacceptable and stated that he intended to order a replacement immediately. To my untrained and unprofessional eye, these were minor issues, but I trusted Robert in this matter. He ordered the warranty replacement window and returned a few weeks later (as his schedule allowed) to replace the defective window and install the window in our dining room. By the way, we love our new Simonton Windows. The Simonton DaylightMax 7300 series of windows features a streamlined design that uses less vinyl and more glass, allowing greater visibility. It should be noted as well that Robert is a licensed general contractor, and as such, may offer solutions to what might otherwise be challenging window installations. We enthusiastically recommend Robert Andrews and Arizona’s Best Windows, and we look forward to working with Robert again soon.

Robert came out to prepare an estimate soon after we called him. He took time to explain the various glass and frame options and how they would fit in the openings of the current aluminum windows in our 70's era stucco'd home. We chose Simonton windows and patio doors. We received Robert's bid in email when he said we would. It was the most detailed and the lowest of the three I obtained. We'd spent enough time with him during the estimate that we felt comfortable going with his bid, especially because we knew Robert was the principal, and would be here doing the installation -- we weren't just dealing with a salesman. We also liked that he was also a general contractor and could deal with anything unexpected found during the install. Robert scheduled another visit to finalize measurements and showed up right on time. Robert was responsive, cheerful, exceedingly easy to work with and always responded promptly to my multiple emails and texts regarding tweaks to the order (I stay up late and don't expect immediate replies to late-night emails, but Robert surprised me more than once). The windows and doors arrived when expected and Robert came out on schedule for the install with his assistant Lori. Robert and Lori were very considerate, did a first class job, and cleaned up after themselves as they moved along. It was a two day job and there were no tools left behind, no garbage left, etc.. Robert is very punctual, organized and comfortable dealing with many kinds of people. It was very nice to know that I could always reach him and he would always be able to help. Robert does quality work and really wants you to be satisfied. He stated it's very important to him to keep his customers happy, and it shows. The windows and patio doors look great and operate smoothly. We've already scheduled Robert on our next project, installing a new front entry door with opening sidelight (a Thermatru combo ordered from Robert's supplier at an excellent price). Robert is a real craftsman and we would recommend him anytime.

I interviewed six or seven contractors and looked at several window brands before I came across Arizona's Best Windows. I had narrowed it down to either Amerimax or Simonton windows and was leaning toward Simonton. Arizona's Best Windows carries both brands. Robert, the owner of the company, is also the sales rep and the installer. When Robert came to my home to give me a quote, he not only measured the windows. He looked at each window inside and out and we talked about how the new window would be installed in the existing opening. I have two large front windows, and Robert was the only contractor who offered me a replacement solution that matched my existing configuration. I was impressed by Robert's attention to detail and commitment to doing things right. There was no pressure to buy. Just lots of good information. The information Robert provided helped me to decide on Simonton Windows. The installation went very smoothly. The windows fit into their openings without a problem. Robert and his partner used dropcloths to protect my floors and were careful removing the old window frames to protect the walls. The work area was cleaned up as each window was installed. I was also impressed with how quietly they worked. They were working in the bedroom and I walked out to the kitchen and there was the new window. When I went in to tell them how nice it looked, Robert told me the bathroom window was also installed. The house did throw them a loop. When the first window was removed, some old pebble-type insulation came out from above the window. It was caught in the dropcloths. But after that, they used plasic along the top of the window opening to catch the stuff. There was no sign of it when they were done, everything was vacuumed up. My biggest worry in buying new widows wasn't the quality of the windows. I was able to choose the manufacturer and windows. My biggest concern was the quality of the installation. Finding Arizona's Best Windows and Robert took away that concern. I liked that the salesman was also the installer. Robert is very easy to talk to. He took the time to explain the product, how the job would be done, and to answer questions. He respected me and my home. I highly recommend Arizona's Best Windows. The windows were delivered and installed as scheduled. Robert is extremely knowledgeable about the products he carries, but more important he knows how houses are built, how windows are installed, where there can be problems, and how to solve those problems. All of this for a price that was very competitive.
