I had called Bill from Arcadia Door Repair several months earlier when the locking mechanism on one of my sliding patio doors completely stopped working. Of course I wanted to get that fixed ASAP, and Bill was able to come the same day and install a new latch lock for me. While he was at my house, I asked him to give me an estimate on my other patio door, which had gotten VERY hard to open and close. Another company had told me that the door couldn't be repaired, and would have to be replaced at a cost of over $1000. However, Bill told me that he could repair it for $275. He estimated it would take a couple of hours, and we scheduled a day for him to come back to do the door repair. As it turned out, it was a much tougher job than he anticipated, and it took several hours to complete. I offered to pay him more than the estimate, but he refused (except for the $10 extra to install the bar lock). Very honest guy with a sense of pride in his work--I highly recommend him!

Bill showed up on time, or maybe even early. Worked steadily for 2+ hours to remove my arcadia door, clean and straighten the track, and put on new rollers. My home was built in 1974. The door was sliding smoothly when he left, and he was meticulous about checking to be sure. He respected my time and my money.

Bill Arbuckle arrived same day and worked for over 3 hours on my door that was very hard to open and close. With great difficulty he was able to remove the door from the very very tight track, clean it and then replace the rollers with new ones The door now opens and closes very smoothly! Thank you Bill. Nice Friendly man and I would hire him and recommend his service to anyone.

Second time I had Bill out to my place for service. On time, pleasant, professional well priced. Door works so well now you have to be careful opening it, it roles that well. VERY PLEASED ONCE AGAIN!

We had one door where the glass had detached from the frame. We were told that it might be able to be fixed, but most likely we would need a new door at a cost of $1,400.00. I called Bill Arbuckle at Arcadia Door Repair after my husband saw his review on Angie's List. We scheduled an appointment for last Friday. Bill showed up on time and was able to fix the door as well as two others that had other problems. He returned early Monday, right on time, and fixed a few additional doors. We thought we might need a new screen on the patio door, but Bill suggested that he swap out the screen door with another one that isn't used much, saving us money for a replacement. I commented to him that I really appreciated the fact that he came when he said he would. He told me that was something he prided himself. I thought the job he did was amazing and that the price was reasonable. We still have three unadjusted doors that we did not fix because they are rarely used, but we are so please with the job that Bill did that we will probably get them fixed as well at some time in the future.

Bill Arbuckle replaced the rollers on our very old (25 year old +) and very heavy (double pane) sliding glass door. He was here on time, worked hard the whole time, explained what he was doing and gave options. He cleaned up everything so well. Best of all, we have an amazingly easy-to-glide sliding glass door. It has not been this easy to move since we moved into a new house many years ago. In fact, I am not sure it was this nice then! Bill also had to work with a house that had settled, misshapen door frame and managed it all nicely. Thank you, Bill! I would recommend him to all!

Excellent! Mr. Arbuckle and his assistant were not only on time, but a few minutes early; they were pleasant, cheerful, and did an outstanding job. My arcadia door now works perfectly, and it only took them about an hour to complete the repairs and make sure it was in proper working order. Very happy with them!

After reading "all reviews" (by ANGIES LIST MEMBERS) for companies listed in the "SLIDING DOOR REPAIRS" category...I selected "ARCADIA DOOR REPAIR" (owner: BILL ARBUCKLE) to assess & repair my sliding arcadia door. My sliding door was nothing less than a "major struggle" (and I mean STRUGGLE!!!) to push open & close! I thought that I might have to purchase a "new sliding door". I decided to call "ARCADIA DOOR REPAIR" (BILL ARBUCKLE) to see if the door could be "salvaged"! Upon calling "ARCADIA DOOR REPAIR" I experienced the most pleasant encounter with BILL ARBUCKLE (owner)! He came out first thing MONDAY morning, & quickly focused on transforming my "none functional sliding arcadia door"...to an "ultra-smooth operating" piece of equipment, something of which I had never experienced before! This arcadia door now "glides like butter in a hot frying pan!', you literally can slide the arcadia door open & close with just "two fingers"! BILL ARBUCKLE was such a pleasure to meet, & his knowledge & ability to repair sliding arcadia doors is "exceptional, outstanding, *****FIVE STAR*****, "two thumbs up!". Bill showed up on time. He provided several solutions to fix my door. When he was done the door worked better than it did when it was new! I definitely will use him to fix my door again if anything ever happens to it. Great Service and price.

They came back the next week with the new sliding screen door we ordered. It is so much sturdier and fits tightly. We also upgraded the screening material to a pet proof screen. Very happy!

Our sliding glass door had become "heavy" to open and close. Since we had used Bill Arbuckle previously to correct a similar problem with our daughter's sliding glass door and were extremely pleased, we contacted Bill again. Our initial contact was through Angie's List. I can't express, fully, how pleased we have been and are with the service Bill has provided us. He was able to schedule our appointment quickly, at our convenience, and arrived promptly. Bill was pleasant, thorough and meticulous in his work and displayed an understanding of the work that needed to be done and how to best do it. He not only installed new, upgraded, metal rollers; but he thoroughly cleaned all aspects of the door installation and then adjusted the door so that it worked much better than when the house was initially constructed. In that he took the time to completely remove both the sliding and the stationary sections of the door assembly for his repair, cleaning and adjustment, his work was far more thorough and professional than when the contractor we had used previously was faced with the same problem. I would be willing to recommend Bill and his work without any reservation whatsoever!

Bill was out on Tues, Oct 8, 2013 to take measurements. The custom screen door was complete the following day. The price was right. Bill was very professional calling before he arrived. He is extremely friendly and provided a clean work are upon completion. I will certainly will use his services in the future. All and all a great experience. Arcadia Door Repair is certainly looking into for repairs and replacements.

In order to close on the sale of our home, we needed a new door closer on our arcadia door. We were having a difficult time getting anyone to meet our short deadline. When we called Arcadia Door Repair, the next available time was over a week out, but when we explained our situation, he made a special effort to come out the next day which was late on a Saturday afternoon. They clearly went the extra mile to help a customer in need. To make the experience even better, the product is of exceptional quality and the service man was very professional and personable. I would certainly recommend and use them again.

Bill showed up on time - I thought hedid an excellent job; very thorough. Didn't quit until it was done right.

Our arcadia door was being difficult so we called the Arcadia Door Co. and spoke to Bill. Bill said he could be there on Friday but we needed him sooner as we were expecting guests on Friday. Bill said he could be there between 1 and 2 in the afternoon. He actually arrived around noon. They removed the door and said the rollers need to be replaced and Bill gave us a quote of $150.00. There was a possibility of another charge of around $50.00 if the track needed work. We gave Bill the go ahead and about an hour later the rollers were replaced and the track was clean. They tried the door on the track and it worked as good as new so the track didn't need any repairs. Now we wonder why we waited so long to get the door fixed.

Very well. Bill showed up on time, replaced the rollers and adjusted the door. Cleaned up quickly. It moves very smoothly now. Would definitely recommend him.
