Arborvision Tree Service

We've used Arborvision since buying our home six years ago. We've tried two other providers, one that actually trimmed the tree and one that simply provided an estimate. The other company that trimmed the tree was professional, but charged approximately $350 more than Arborvision. The company we called for an estimate was clearly not as professional or educated on the care of such trees and we declined the service. The estimate we received from this company was also close to amount charged by Arborvision but the contractor was concerned about how to get a lift into the tree. Jesse and his crew at Arborvision don't have that concern because they use ropes to climb the tree and to lower the larger branches to the ground to prevent damage. It was clear the company with the lift was not going to worry about where the branches fell and also wasn't going to be able to reach the entire tree. We continue to use Arborvision because of the quality of the work and competitive pricing. 

I was referred to Arborvision by another provider that we've used in the past, but that is distant to our home and booked out for another month.  Jesse Huffman, the owner of Arborvision came out to examine our trees and provide an estimate for the requested work within two or three days of our first contact.  When Jesse arrived, I learned that he is the only climber and pruner in his small company.  It turns out that Jesse is a competitive climber and has written portions of the test for Certified Tree Workers, in addition to being a Certified Arborist.  We have been having our trees trimmed over the 18 years we've lived in our home and Jesse is the first and only Certified Arborist to be on-site while work is being performed.
After I agreed to Jesse's estimate, he scheduled us for later in the same week.  Jesse and his crew member arrived as promised.  Jesse rigged ropes in the trees and proceeded to climb the trees as if he was born in them.  All 5 tress were trimmed as requested, all debris was removed, the yard was cleaned and the trees looked great.  I could tell that Jesse took great care in deciding how and where to make each saw cut.  The result is that our trees look as good as they ever have and the trees from our neighbor's yard that were encroaching over our fence have been trimmed in a safe and healthy manner, ensuring their continued vitality and vigor.
Jesse will be getting all of our tree trimming business from here on out!

8/29/2014 Update:  The canopy on one of our Brazilian Pepper trees was hanging quite low after a recent monsoon.  Jesse came back out to the property, reassessed the the tree, performed some additional pruning and left the yard as clean as when he arrived ... all for no additional charge.  Jesse REALLY stands behind his work and wants his customers to be happy with the results!

I was new to my home and a bit overwhelmed on the amount of trees to be cared for. Right off Jesse was a wealth of information. He not only did a great job on pruning my fruit trees and mesquite tree he also educated me on the do's and don'ts of caring for my trees.

Jesse Huffman and Arborvision Tree Service are as good as it gets!!! Jesse is a Certified Arborist and a serious tree lover, a true professional. He responded quickly to my first contact, and we set an appointment immediately. He trimmed trees at my home, and removed a 50+ foot pine tree from a rental property.  He and his crew were timely, knowledgeable, efficient, and concerned about my property. They did a great job of cleanup after the trimming and removal.
Best of all, his prices are very fair.  I recommend Jesse without any hesitation. You won't find better tree service anywhere!

Arborvision (Jesse and his team) are highly professional, punctual and nice.  They were able to take down massive trees in a high risk environment without damaging my house or my neighbors.  They worked quickly and brought down all the trees in a timely manner and were very safe.  They offered to give me the wood shreds from the stump grinding process for us to use in the garden.  Further Jesse has a youtube channel just to show how much he loves his work, with some amazing time-lapse videos that show the process of pulling down these monster trees.

We started by Jesse advising me not to do some of the work which I had in mind.  He actually considered what was best for the trees to be more important than just making a buck!  Then the work that he did do was excellent.  I was impressed by both his theoretical knowledge and his practical skills (and he has professional certifications to match.)  I'd highly recommend Jesse's services to anyone who wants their tree work done right.

Jesse, was prompt and ontime for the evaluation and quote. His quote was not the lowest but I felt was reasonable and he was very knowledgeable. I liked what he wanted to do with the trees.
On the day of work he was on-time. He did the work himself. He came well equipped to do the work and to clean up after.
I am very satisfied with the work. My trees are now much much better and will be healthier going forward. Jesse did an excellent job on the trees and cleaning up after the cutting. I will use him again and recommend him to neighbors.

He is an arborist and he got the trees ready for spring bloom. His price was very reasonable. He's very professional and knowledgeable. He corrected a bunch of mistakes that another company made and the trees look a lot better for it. I am going to have him come back, to do some more trimming after I'm sure we won't have any more frost.

It all went well.  However, due to the distance they will no longer service North East Phoenix, as I was told.
