+ -1 moreI've used them on two different properties. They came out at the time it was scheduled and actually did an estimate. They had a second person come out for fine measuring once I agreed to the pricing.

Description of Work: Prior to using Amerizona, I had contacted several companies about solar screens and a couple were horrible to deal with. Others wanted me to pay them to come out for an estimate. I'm not doing that. | |Amerizona phone people were quite nice, the rep was prompt, pleasant and professional. No high pressure sales. I hired them to install solar screens on several windows and on two sliders. For the sliders they took the original screens from the doors and simply replaced the mesh with solar screen. Since one side of each door didn't have any screen at all, they built a frame and screened it. They work terrific! However, I had two issues with the finished product - On one slider screen they used 2 screws that I feel are too long and someday I will get around to replacing them with shorter ones. A bigger issue is that on the other screen door, the handle was broken when they took it. It needed replacing - we just hadn't gotten around to it. While they never said they would fix it, I thought they might - but they didn't. Truly, that is Okay. What I am upset about is that those parts are no longer available and I have just invested hundreds of dollars into a door that I can't fix. It may be that this isn't in their purview, but I'd have thought a company that works that closely with doors would or should have known and warned me about it. For a small amount of money more, they would have built a whole new screen door for me. So, I can't help but think they didn't know but jimeny cricket, if they didn't know, who would? | |All that said and done, I liked the people, I liked the work crew, and I liked the company. It is highly likely that I will have them out again to put solar screens on the remaining windows. |

+ -1 moreI was very pleased with the work done. It was very expensive, but worth it to eliminate the orange/yellow/bronze tint throughout my house which distorted the colors of everything, including our television screen. The film was installed by a previous owner.

+ -1 moreFrom the gate, this company's staff was completely professional, punctual and well-trained. I made an appointment for an estimate and was able to get one within 2 days of my initial call. I was lucky enough to get an installation date of less than a week from the initial appointment. The crew (there were two of them) had my family room and kitchen windows done within two hours time and were very neat. They, as well as the salesman, told me how to clean the new film after 30 days' time (30 days is necessary for the adhesive to dry thoroughly). I don't know why I didn't call Amerizona sooner. I am impressed with both their product and their services.

Description of Work: Phone request for the estimate was a good experience. The company called was taken over by Amerizona. Appointment was established for someone to measure and provide samples of the various window film available. The sales person was professional and was able to answer all questions. Installation was setup for the next week. The insaller called to let us know when to expect him so communication was good. He installed window film on a small sliding glass door unit to the balcony in an apartment. Very quick and very good. Love the results. Thanks

+ -1 moreI called Amerizona and the owner of the company came out to measure, give us options, and schedule the installation. He showed use several options and didn't try to force us to buy something we didn't want or that would not work for us. Two employees came promptly on the predetermined date and time. The only issue I have is that removing the old film left quite a mess. They did clean up part of it, but not all of it. The Hunter-Douglas shade that was on one of the windows fell off during installation (I think the installer accidentally knocked it off the brackets). It chipped off a piece of cement from the window ledge and knocked a side cap off the top of the shade. He did put the shade back in the brackets, but the cap that had fallen off was not put back. I am not sure whether or not he noticed the chip or the side cap. I discovered it after they left. The installers were pleasant and work efficiently. I just wish I had noticed the slight damage before they left.
Description of Work: The company installed Vista window film on a south-facing window and a west-facing window in our home. The west-facing window had old film that needed to be removed. Both windows were cleaned before the film was applied.

+ -1 moreAmerizona did a great job removing the old, dark tint and replacing it with new high-quality tint. It was expensive - but that is because of the cost of the tint. They gave us a wide-range of choices and I was happy with our final selection. They were on-time, courteous, and did a nice job cleaning-up.

Description of Work: Wonderful service! I initially called and spoke with Jan to schedule someone to come out to measure all of my windows for sun/solar screens and she was very helpful. Phil and Chuck measured and installed the screens and each showed up on time and contacted me to follow up. From my first call to Jan to the installation of my screens was only about three weeks. I love my screens and I highly recommend Amerizona to others searching for sun/solar screens!

+ -1 moreMark came to give an estimate..he arrived on time, was through and very pleasant to work with. He provided two estimates based on doing the entire surface or just the arched areas. Josh came to do the installation 5 days later on the day I requested and was on time. I had the entire windows tinted. He, too, was very professional. We are very happy with the company and the service.

+ -1 moreThe team of installers were on time, walked through my house with me to determine that the correct size and number of film pieces were ordered and started working. They were friendly, courteous and efficient. They worked fast and were careful around my furniture and books. They cleaned up after themselves and took all their trash with them. It was an ideal experience.
Description of Work: I contacted the company and set an appointment for an estimate to tint my windows. The sales rep phoned to let me know he was on his way and he arrived on time. He did a thorough job explaining the various product options and presented an estimate. Several days later he phoned to see if I had any other questions and I scheduled to meet with him for an additional estimate for one more room. Again, I received the same high quality of service and communication and an adjusted estimate. After reviewing the three estimates I had obtained from three separate "A" level vendors on "Angie's List" I chose this company based on their service and their product and scheduled installation for the following week.
