plumbing, water heater repair
 + 0 moreBAD FROM START TO FINISH. We had to hire another plumbing company (Tiger Plumbing) to come out to fix the job. He had to fix the broken valve that the Americor guy broke and said he fixed it and then tried to charge us for it, plus he had to fix the leaking water heater. Of course we had to pay for this. So now we have had to pay twice for a water heater install.
Description of Work: A Rheem hot water heater replacement (under warranty). 1st we were quoted a lower price than the actual bill (by $55). Second the technician broke a hose valve that had nothing to do w/ the water heater. He attempted to fix it, said he did, tried to charge us for the parts and labor ($170) (he spent more time on that than installing the actual water heater)and then after he left not only was that valve leaking but so was the newly installed heater! When we contacted Americor the rep was belligerent. They wouldn't come back out unless we paid for the broken valve repair (I had wrote the check for the heater install only) and pay them cash BEFORE he would touch the leaking water heater! They also ran to the bank that the check was written on and cashed it. Pretty sneaky stuff.

pool cleaners
 + -1 moreCame out on 6/29 to scope out the leak. Temporary patch on leak. Came back on 7/2 to replace cracked leaking tee.
Description of Work: PC pipe on the pool filter sprang a leak at a tee. Replaced necessary PC pipe to fix stop leak.

 + -1 moreWE HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY QUOTED A VERY COMPETITIVE PRICE AND ANSWERED MANY QUESTIONS AND EVEN SUGGESTED DIFFERENT OPTIONS. THEY DID NOT JUST TRY TO GET US TO BUY THEIR NEW PRODUCT, WITHOUT OFFERING OTHER ALTERNATIVES. THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL AND DEPENDABLE. A FEW DAYS LATER WHEN WE THOUGHT THE UNIT WAS MAKING AN UNUSUAL NOISE, THEY CAME BACK OUT TO CHECK EVERYTHING AGAIN AND DID NOT CHARGE US ANY ADDITIONAL AMOUNT. WE HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY!
Description of Work: THE COMPANY REPLACED ONE OF OUR EXISTING HEAT PUMPS. THEY INSTALLED A NEW TRANE TWO TON OVER AND UNDER HEAT PUMP. THEY STARTED A NEW UNIT AND CHECKED EVERYTHING TO BE SURE ALL WAS WORKING PROPERLY.
