Description of Work: AC unit failed on a 112 degree day. Another company recommended by a friend couldn't get here till the following afternoon, and after a really warm night with no AC in the bedrooms, didn't sound good. Then I remembered that AHW, who've done a great job for me 3 times with water heater + softener + RO system, not do AC repair. Called them and 4 hours later we had Stan, who was just great: patient, pleasant, explained the problem (capacitor blown) and fixed it. Very happy with the service, and especially with Stan!

Description of Work: American Home Water installed our RO and software system in our new home in the summer of 2016. We called them back this summer for the annual RO filter change. Technician Nate was first rate. Clean cut, professional, very friendly. Got the system sanitized and filters changed in no time. Everything was extremely clean when job was complete. He even went to the garage and checked our software system to make sure all was functioning correctly. Finally asked if there were any questions. Nope. All is good. Recommend this firm for your water softening and RO needs.

 + -1 moreI called around 1 pm on a Saturday to get an estimate. They told me exactly what the cost would be. I asked if they installed on Saturdays and how to schedule. The person said they could install at 3 pm that day. They were on time, very professional and very knowledgeable. They replaced the water softener and R/O system in a little over 1 hour. I am extremely happy and everything works great! The cost was half of what was estimated by another company. I definitely will recommend this company.

 + -1 moreI called on a Saturday and my water heater was replaced within 2 hours from my call. They were prompt, professional and fast. Turns out I didn't need a water heater right that minute (turned out to be a busted hot water pipe) but mine was 10 years old and starting to corrode in the electrical box so better safe than sorry. I won't have to worry about my hot water heater now for a while.

 + 0 moreTom with American Home Water did an excellent job and explained the workings of both units to me and my wife. I would use them again for any drinking water or soft water needs. My old/existing Hot Water Heater was leaking at the base and they were very prompt in getting to my home and replacing the old water heater so that we were in working order almost immediately and an emergency situation was averted.
Description of Work: I had a GE hot water heater and new Fleck water softener installed in my home. AHW was professional and did a clean , neat job which is an asset to my home. I have suggested them to many others.

We were given a price of $499.00 plus tax installed for a 50 gallon Bradford White with a 6 year warranty. They gave us the price over the phone and were at our house in less than 2 hours. Great Job and price. Kudos to American Home Water.
Description of Work: Had a leaky water heater and had it replaced with a new one. The entire job took about an hour.

 + -1 moreIt went very well. We did not have a service loop or even know where to put a softener. AHW told me they had only needed 14 inches of space. I found an excellent spot inside a garage cabinet on the other side of the exterior water supply entrance to the house.They were very professional, prompt, and even fixed an unrelated plumbing issue at the supply line entrance for no extra charge. The overall installation has a high quality look. AHW was also very available and would always answer the phone directly. No or answering machines or answering service.
Description of Work: Installed a new water softener including the necessary plumbing for a first-time installation.

Called at 8:30 AM, told them I needed to move, and then replace, an old water softener so I could have the garage floor epoxied later that week. They came out by 10 AM the same morning, we determined that the old plumbing to the softener should also be replaced, they cut the pipes to the softener and installed a loop (for temporary use until the garage floor was done) within a few minutes. We had not discussed the price for doing this before they came out, but they only charged $65.
