One of the owners came to the house examined the installation area and described the softener and RO systems then gave us options and pricing. I would like to mention that when I was searching for the right company, I asked lots of questions over email and phone and they never pushed me into anything. They answered all my questions and addressed my concerns then provided options. In person, were not pushed into any sales either and felt very comfortable. As a result, we made our purchase that day. They scheduled us for installation the very next day. We found the owner to be extremely honest and knowledgeable. The service men that came the next day to install the loop, softener and RO were very professional and knowledgeable as well. They carefully explained everything we needed to know and reminded us that the company would notify us once a year to change the filters. I feel this company has a great product and service force (I researched all the reviews on different sites). I would definitely recommend them. The pricing was much better than others and I like the fact that they are local. Update; 1/19/2016 These guys are great! Changed my water filters every year or as needed and serviced my softener system only once. Great products and service. I see they are installing hot water tanks as well - I would definitely give them work in the future.

I'd already gone through 2 water softeners from the big box stores and after research and shopping around decided to go with American Home Water.The owners answer all questions and don't try to push or sell you anything you don't need.After deciding to go with them I placed the order and they came the next day.The installers were very professional and did an excellent job.The warranty they offer on their product was a big factor in my choice.Thanks to Angie's list.I'm a new member and this was a good start. .

Our water heater rusted through on a Friday night and developed a serious leak. On Saturday morning, I obtained estimates from three companies that would perform work on a Saturday. AHW's initial estimate for the water heater was HALF of what I was quoted by one of the other companies, and about the same as the third company. I noticed on their website that they also sold and installed recirculation pumps, and they agreed to perform that work along with the water heater replacement--again, on a Saturday. The crew of two arrived a bit earlier than they promised, had all the parts they needed, and then took the time to carefully route the copper piping, double-check the joints for leaks, set up and test all components, and explain how everything worked. They cleaned up the work area before leaving. Fantastic experience from start to finish!

They had given us a quote on 2/4 and when I called later to schedule the service they came out the same day. Both of the men who performed the work were very professional and informative. The only small hiccup we had was when installing the RO the gentleman accidentally burned the wood. Apparently he was using the wrong drill bit and this caused the wood to get pretty hot. In fact I smelled something burning and asked about it. I had to drop the quality to a 'B' for that. I smelled burned wood until the next day. Other than that, everything went very very well and we are beyond pleased with our new systems. I would recommend them again.

The 2 men sent to install the water softener and RO system were fantastic. They did a great job. They had to trench under the sidewalk to install the pipes. When they were done you would never know they had been there. They were professional, did a great job and explained how the units worked. I was extremely pleased with this company. From the estimate to the finished work, they were fantastic to deal with. I would highly recommend them.

It went very well nice knowledgable company rep. We had a previous quote from rain soft and the guy was rude and tried to pressure us into buying that day by saying that the price would change. It was a completely opposite experience here I even had him go over and talk to my neighbor how is getting a system.

Very professional. Discussed our needs to determine any issues and useage. Installed a 'Presidential' softener. Prompt, clean and courteous. Fantastic 10 year warranty. This is the second one they have installed for my family. A great experience. Received a follow up call once they were done.

I contacted American Home Water. At first they helped us identify exactly which water softener we owned and confirmed they could service it. They came over to diagnose the issue on a Saturday and came back on Monday with the part they needed to replace. This company was fast, efficient, professional and an overall good value. Water softener works like new.

i thought we already had a hook up & drain present but when the softener was attached to the preexiting line, it did not work. AHW came back the next day to come up with a solution on how to install the softener to another drain. i was satisfied with this company overall and satisfied with my softener. it has already made a huge difference in the water at my home. the tech was friendly & knowledgeable, however, i did feel like he spent a great deal of time on his cell phone & was concerned that he was distracted while doing the work in my home

I called and talked to the owners and they scheduled an install the very same day. The installer was prompt, and worked quickly and efficiently. Nice looking install and he explained the operation and service to me in detail. I high recommend this company. Please note, I have no connections or ties to this company. We just moved into this area from Oregon. I ran a service company for many years before I retired and this company is a model to follow.

Excellent. Called and owner showed up that afternoon to go over all the details, while giving me a complete quote for the installation. I called them the following week and asked them to do the installation. They arrived on the same day and completed the installation within 90 minutes. Totally explained operations to me and told me if I ever needed any additional information that they provided free of charge a 24/7 phone response to any type of problem related to my system be it questions, or actually service problems. Unit came with verylong term warranty.

Like all the other reviews, Tom(owner) and staff were excellent. Tom figured out how they could bypass our irrigation (not get soft water and succeeded.They were neat, experienced,and professional. Tom answered all calls promptly and really delivered. So far very happy! It is nice to see a company trying to exceed peoples expectations and build trust.

The install went fine, and after we contacted the company to explain the water problem in the laundry room, they fixed the issue.

Great experience and highly recommend. I found the company on Angie's List and was very pleased with everything. I called the company and spoke to Tom and he assisted me in determining what I needed to put in a water softener ( a replacement). The work was scheduled within the time I needed to get it completed. The installers showed up on time and called when they were on their way, which i really appreciate. The installers were great - friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Jose took the time to explain everything once installation was completed. No mess was left behind.

Outstanding company! From the quote to the installation, all was handled professionally with lots of communication along the way to make sure I was pleased. I called for a quote to install a water softener and they came out the same day. They walked me through my options to make sure I was pleased with the system I selected. Once settled on a system, we set an appointment date for the installation. The installer called first thing in the morning to tell me an approximate time for install and kept me updated throughout the day. He arrived right when he said he would and took care with the install to clean up after the work. I would highly recommend! I had researched prices and theirs are more than fair. The conditioners they sell and install are made in the US and installation is fast and professional!

The owner advised during estimate conversation on the telephone that he was unsure if the work could be done the same day but promised the job could be completed by the day after Christmas ( I was calling Christmas Eve morning). I assured him that was fine. He called me two hours later and advised the service personnel would be arriving within 45 minutes. The installation was completed in just a few minutes and in a workmanship like manner. Very satisfied with price, workmanship like manner the work was done in and the overall quality of the work. A surprisingly nice experience.

American Home Water responded quickly. I explained that we were in Phoenix for just a few days to work on our rental, where our son lives. They came out later that same day and installed the new softener. The installer was very professional, and did an excellent job in explaining how the new unit worked.

Tom was prompt with his phone calls and gave me all the information i needed up front. I had already called multiple companies and had multiple estimates. American home water was one of the only ones who didn't try to upsell me or charge me extra for this or that for the installation. They were prompt on the day of installation, completed exactly what they said they would and were done in a timely manner. Their work is neat. After installation, we had an issue with taste. Tom came out right away and worked the problem for us until we were satisfied. But during that time, he also offered to replace our system with a different kind free of charge if we were still unhappy. In the end, toms solution worked great and we have no issues. Great customer service.

WE have been very pleased with the performance of the water softener and RO unit we purchased nearly 3 years ago. Today, Luis came to service the RO unit. Changing filters and recharging the system were easy and Luis attended to them quite professionally. Then he checked out the water softener and because I just had shoulder surgery added another bag of salt to the system. This is a good company and Luis is a good service person.

Went well, old water heater was removed and a new one installed with no issues.
