Excellent ! Everything was as expected. They are experts at what they do and have it down to a science. Based on my research, their prices are fair. The two owners (Tom and Tom) are very "hands on" and make sure the job gets done properly, on time and to your satisfaction. I will call them when I need a new water heater. If they do the work for you, you have nothing to worry about.

We called and on the same day the owner and crew are within hours. The owner came and then the crew came to do the job. Within 6 hours the job was up and running. They crew did a superior job.

I am extremely impressed. Being a small business owner I am very critical of the service and products provided by businesses I use. I am a service fanatic in my business. This company was great from the response for a quote to the final installation. The product is great, the crew were extremely professional and friendly, and they didn't nickel and dime on small variances to the installation. I highly recommend this company.

Jose, Felix and Angel arrived as scheduled and immediately set to work. Their work was careful, considerate and most professional. Following the installation, Jose gave us an orientation on the two systems and insured that we understood the nature of what had been installed, the service life, and the maintenance requirements for the systems. When we first ordered our installation by phone, we were given the prices depending on the size of the house and number of people residing in the home. We were never, at any time, pushed into something we really didn't need and we really appreciated that. It was a pure pleasure dealing with American Home Water. We feel you can definitely count on this company to perform excellent work and they sell superior products. We would highly recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing water systems for your home.

We just moved here from the Midwest, after purchasing a home via shortsale. Due to the age of the home, we have had various appliance die, one by one. My kitchen faucet was thumping and the water pressure was quite poor. I called a random plumber (not listed on Angie's list - shame on me) and he diagnosed the problem, over the phone, as a "shot reverse osmosis system". He tried to talk me into purchasing some new process for treating water - quoting me over $1200.00 for the job. When he told me the reverse osmosis system was shot, I opted to go on Angie's list and find a water treatment company. I chose American Home Water, due to their consistent "A" ratings and positive feedback. Tom, who I believe is the owner, came out the next day, tested my water and said the current system I have is perfectly fine. He even checked my refrigerator water and ice. He then went under the kitchen sink and checked the water valves. It turns out water hammering is often the result of poor water pressure and my valves were nearly shut off!!! He opened them up and no more thumping! Tom didn't charge me a dime! You can be that if something does go wrong with my system or I need the filter change I WILL be calling American Home Water!

Three people came and were completed same day. Was small leak near house inlet connection, but they came out same day as I reported it and fixed it immediately. Very happy with service.

Two showed up for the work to be done. One tackled the water softner system install in the garage and the other worked on the reverse osmosis install under the kitchen sink. They explained how the system worked and what to expect when a back flush took place. They also instructed on the type of salt replacement to be used and how the system worked. The work was done fast, professional, and they cleaned up after themselves prior to leaving. I would use this company again if needed.

Very affordable, professional, and knowledgeable service provider. They were punctual and performed the work efficiently. I suspected that the bladder in the reverse osmosis tank had burst; which prompted the call to American Home Water, but I was very apprehensive about what the resulting costs would be. I couldn't have been more pleased with the price and the service. The cost of changing the filters was more affordable than buying the filters at a local hardware store and doing the work myself, plus you get the assurance that the work is done correctly by a professional.

It went well. I liked that when I called I was able to speak with someone (Tom Knapp) that knew about planning a water heater installation instead of just someone reading a price off a sheet. Tom went the extra mile by asking about where the water heater was located in the house, proper drainage, and helped me size a water heater appropriate for my home (the one I had was too big). Tom even had me email photos of my current water heater which helped us better plan the job. On installation day, the crew was on time and professional. The installation went smoothly because of the planning we'd done, and the unit has been working great.

American Home Water was a pleasure to work with. I contacted Tom Knapp about a water softener about 3 weeks to closing on a new home. He referred me to information on the company website to read about softener options. He made specific recommendations based on the water needs in my home. He was able to schedule installation the day after closing. The technician and supervisor arrived on time and had the system installed in less than 2 hours. The supervisor explained the operation of the system including maintenance and troubleshooting. The entire process of purchasing and installing the system was flawless. The company has a terrific website for information about water conditioning. I highly recommend the company for consideration prior to buying a water conditioning system in the Phoenix metro area.

It went well. They showed up on the same day that I called to schedule an installation. The installation was polite and friendly. The installation went very smoothly. The only odd thing is that the company charges 3% of the cost of the item additionally if you use a charge card versus cash or check.

They were able to service the day after contacting them. They were on time, professional, friendly, and did a great job for a really great price.

Very good staff. Alan the Sales Tech was extremely knowledgeable and helped our decision on a system. While other companies who we got quotes from tried to oversell us, American Home Water did not.

Echo everyone's comments and precisely why I hired them. Estimate over the phone, excellent warranty/price, and flawless installation of their 'President' system the very next day. Instead of using or re-using the flex tubing, they cooked in solid copper extensions from the legacy install. Tremendous improvement over ancient water softener that self-destructed spewing resin throughout household plumbing and appliances. I bypassed old system and purged plumbing and appliances myself just so I could get water flowing (and save money doing something I could do). I'll hire them again!!

The entire project was a breeze from getting estimate to project completion, which was only 2 days. The arrived on time started work right away and did an exceptional clean up. They had to dig a trench across the front of the house which included going under the sidewalk and they did such a great job, i could not even tell where they dug. Everyone was very professional and I highly recommend them. The system they installed has made a huge difference in our water as we are new to Arizona and the hard water was a bit of a shock to us.

I had an old water softener that really hadn't worked right from the time I bought this house and I was shown, by American Home Water when they did the install, that the person who installed the old Kenmore softener set it up to drain through the furnace's condensation pipe. The two men that installed the unit redirected the hose into the attic to drain the way it should drain, at no additional cost, when they set up the new softener. One of the owners called later and said the installers wanted him to stop by and look at the installation because they were concerned that I wouldn't get the results I wanted. He showed up that same day to make sure the I understood that only the hot water would be softened. I didn't realize that was the way the old softener was plumbed. I had them come back and move the water softener to the main line coming into the house and also had a pressure regulator installed because the psi in my house was 75. I decided I would rather spend a little now and get it right than have the tank crack; pay to have it repaired and still need the pressure regulator. They really worked to fit me into their schedule to get this set up properly. My dad stopped by to look at it and said the welding and installation of the pipes was top notch. They did a great job and I would definitely recommend them. I did have to spend more than the bid but I do not hold them responsible for the fact that I didn't understand the additional work required to set this up as I intended. They are honest and fair and do great work!! Thank you!

AHW is a well-oiled machine! Both services they provided me were accomplished same day of initial contact, once by the owner himself. The installations were professionally, courteously and swiftly completed, and I've had absolutely no problems with either product since. AHW's products are competitively priced and I've recommended their services to my neighbors, who've also been pleased with the results.

They arrived on time, and began work immediately. The entire system was conpleted in just a couple hours. They explained how it operates and what we need to do for regular maintenance. The house is VERY rural and on a private well. The water contained sediment and we were constantly fighting the yellow/brownish water in the toilets, sinks, and shower/tub. I am THRILLED, as the water is now crystal clear! The reverse osmosis for drinking and cooking water is phenominal! Great Company to do business with!

Had actually met with Tom 2 years ago for an estimate but I decided to keep the water softener that was already installed in our home instead of changing it out. When it finally stopped working, I called Tom again after reviewing all the reviews on Angies List. He actually remembered my home 2 years after we initially met! Just as before, he was punctual, responsive to all my questions, and knowledgeable. He did not try to upsell me on things he did not think I needed. By the next day, he had a team out at my house to remove my old unit which was outside and plumb to inside my garage for the new unit. His crew was very good answering all my questions. Job was done professionally and work area was clean at completion. Tom even stopped by at end of job to check in. At that time I learned of his great price on water heaters and plan to use him for those as well. It has been a couple weeks since getting the water softener and I am very pleased with the product. Overall a great company. Would recommend to anyone.
