Install was great. Gerardo from AHW showed up on time and left my garage cleaner than when I got here. He installed the spigot for washing your car without any prompting. He was professional and got the job done quickly and hauled away my old unit. I am very happy with AHW. Also, if you shop around, ask about a warranty on the resin. AHW gives a 25 year warranty on the resin. I am a return customer and have had the resin replaced for free on my other unit. This is a huge plus in AZ. They are not the cheapest but are nowhere near the most expensive and the extra warranty makes the cost well worth it.

For openers, the Web site is a refreshing surprise. All the information you could reasonably want and, surprise, the prices are there also. I am sure I could have completed my purchase from the web site but I had several questions that I would feel more comfortable asking in person. No problem. Got ahold of Tom A on his cell and he said he could be out to the house in a couple of hours. Wow! He came and answered all my questions and was gone in 10 minutes. He even swapped my stainless steel RO faucet for one in Bisque, which earned me wife brownie points. The following day Jose came out with Fidel who he was training. The job was finished professionally and spotlessly within an hour. I make it a point to visit with laborers at our house and I will share a moment with Jose. I asked him how he liked working for American Home Water. He said "if they will have me I will work for them forever". That's all you have to know about this company and the caliber of people that work there. By the way, The Softener and RO work perfectly.

I was out-of-town when my wife called, at 5:30 AM, to report that our 11 year old hot water heater had died. I was anticipating this problem and so I had already done research which led me to American Home Water. within a few hours, of my call, American Home Water replaced the defective unit and the flexible water lines and shut off valve. When I returned home, from my trip, I inspected the work and discovered that everything was done first rate! The work was done quickly with the best price and quality; I'm happy!

I contacted American Home Water after having used them in the past to replace a filter in our RO system. When the rep arrived he inspected the system and quickly identified the faulty part. While drawing up the invoice, he noticed that the cost of repairs (labor, parts, service fee) would be comparable to replacing the system, only the replacement would come with a five-year warranty. He walked me through the invoice for each option and then I decided to go with a replacement system. There was no pressure to make either decision and the representative was very forthright and honest. I highly recommend American Home Water for their responsiveness, professionalism, and integrity in conducting business.

Our water heater failed and of the half dozen plumbers we called and interviewed, they were the first to arrive with a new unit at a very good price. They were very prompt and their price was hundreds of $ less than competitor.

Tom came our as scheduled and described the systems. He answered all my questions. Gerardo called then arrived as scheduled. There were a few problems with the installation but they were all solved in a timely manner. Gerardo cleaned up and made sure everything was working order. Great system.

They were here on time and no high pressure sales talk. Price was 1/3 of price quoted by Kenitico. I am very satisfied with the work they did as well as their timeliness.

Terrific! After some unsatisfactory previous service from other providers, I finally called AHW, the ones who had actually installed the system a few years ago. The customer service lady was friendly, polite, and was able to schedule our service call within two days, a very pleasant surprise since the most common complaint I hear from places is that Maricopa is so far away! Johnny was the tech who arrived right on time, was most pleasant, efficient, and competent. He explained everything that was going on and installed a new system in what I felt was an amazingly short period of time, cleaning up after the job was done. I did not feel rushed, pressured, or patronized! It was a great experience, and I will definitely continue to use AHW for our regular service!

Gerardo called ahead and was on time. His work was clean and efficient even though I hovered around while he took the old system out and installed the new one. I've never needed a water softening system before and asked a lot of questions but Gerardo patient ally answered them all and made sure I understood the system. The whole process from the interview and quote to the install was very straight forward and quick. I'm totally pleased with American Home Water.

From the first encounter we felt we would be in good hands. Tom, one of the owner's was impressively knowledgeable and his staff available to address any all all concerns we had..We have an older home and with his expertise figured out how to problem solve routing of piping etc. ..We did have a few issues that came up but they were all addressed same day and to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company. Its how companies should be run!

It went well. I discovered in the morning that I wasn't getting much hot water. My hot water heater is in a narrow closet in my garage. I went in and smelled burning and saw burn marks around the bottom opening for the bottom burner. I immediately called American Home Water whom I had previously used for a soft water replacement system and they arranged to come out the same day. The tech who came out, Gerarde, was timely, friendly, helpful and did excellent work. The closet is very narrow and in order to do the work he had to remove a whole house vacuum cleaner and the entire soft water system. After doing that he could barely fit the hot water heater into the space. He did the work without complaint, cleaned up after his work, removed the old unit and set the hot water heat per my direction. Not only was the work done well but the price was very reasonable. It was a terrific experience and I would definitely use them again.

American Home Water came out to service my water softener on Thursday, but the system was over 15 years old and needed to be replaced. They came out today, Saturday, and installed a new water softener system. The two guys, Higinio and Angel, were super nice, courteous and very professional. They took care of everything. I was trying to move stuff out of the way for them, but they insisted that if anything needed to be moved they would take care of it, and they did. They had the new system installed and checked it out and had it running in no time. They took away the old parts and left the work area nice and clean. Overall a great, stress-free experience!!!

I reviewed water softener systems on Angie`s list. Was impressed by the reviews! And called them today for a quote. I was given a very good quote on the President model with a 10 year parts and labor warranty! I agreed, and Gerardo showed up this afternoon. He went straight to work, and did an very professional job! I am happy and impressed with their service! I highly recommend this company!

Well, I sat through the Kinetico magic show for about an hour before getting a quote. Their quote was $5700 for a water softener and an RO system. I don't mind paying for quality, but I do think there is a point of diminished returns with systems like this, after all, a water softener is essentially a big canister of resin that's occasionally recharged with salt water. After the sticker shock, I thought spending $4 on a 1 month subscription to Angie's list is a small price to pay for a good referral to other reputable providers. One of the top rated companies for water softeners was American Home Water so I went to their web site and submitted a question about their products. Wouldn't you know it, but Tom Atkinson, one of the owners, called me back 8 AM the very next day. I told him I had a meeting with Kinetico the previous day, I got quite the sales pitch, and I was interested in what they had to offer. In fact, I told him I wanted a quote on the best water treatment system that they had to soften water, remove chlorine, and also an RO system for the kitchen. He asked a few questions namely the size of the home and the number of occupants. His recommendation was the President water softener, the big blue filter for chlorine and their best RO system. Total quote? $2027. When could they do it? Tomorrow. So I scheduled. The next day, Fidel showed up at 8:30 and immediately started work on the RO system. Kind, courteous, knowledgeable, a good guy with a good work ethic. He walked me through the process of getting the RO system ready to use as well as a few things I should know about the system and the filters. Jose later showed up to do the install of the water softener system itself. Finished system looked great, no mess left behind, and from what I could tell, pipework looked great. They gave me a quick orientation on the system, answered my questions, and were on their way. Grand total b/w 2 to 2.5 hours. I'm very satisfied with this company front to back and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a water softener and a RO system. They seemed genuinely interested in providing me the best systems for my needs without giving me the magic show or charging an excessive amount of money for their product. A nice perk was the 5% off coupon from Angie's list that brought the grand total down to $1932. So my Angie's List subscription for 1 month for $4 saved me $95! That's a pretty solid ROI for an excellent recommendation for a Soft Water company. All the way around, I'm very satisfied with American Home Water and Angie's List. I'm very pleased.

Installers were on time and professional. Clearly explained the process and follow up steps to be completed in terms of salt pellets and filter maintenance. Very happy with service, would recommend.

I decided to use American Home Water a while back but finally had time to get in touch with them. I talked with the Toms on Thursday and had Gerardo come out to the house Saturday. He called and let me know when he would approximately be there. He showed up on time and I showed him where everything was located. He managed to get everything in place and installed within 2 hours. He gave me a quick tutorial and was gone. Very professional and very detailed oriented. Their prices are by far the best I found in the valley. Lowes and HD would have been 2400-2800 and the home builder would have charged me 2300. Always like to save money and get a good product.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone. They resonded promptly to my initial inquiry and the installation went flawlessly. Gerardo came to the house right on schedule, installed both units quickly and professionally. He cleaned up after himself and was very pleasant.

I was impressed by the positive reviews the company has on the list. I was also impressed that this seems to be one of the few companies that publishes their prices on their website. I called for an estimate and Tom Atkinson said he could be at my home in about 20 minutes. 20 minutes later, there he was. He didn't give me a sales pitch, he just gave me an estimate and asked if I had any questions. 10 minutes later, he was out the door. Two days later, I called for an install appointment and I was told they could be at my home that afternoon between 3:30 and 4:00 pm. Sure enough, the two installers (I think their names were Higinio and Angel) showed up at 4:00 pm. Less than an hour later, they were finished. The guys were very careful not to make a mess and they cleaned up after themselves when they were done. They checked for leaks at all stages of the install and explained the operation of both the softener and RO system carefully. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire process. This company is great. They have the best prices around, they are very prompt, they warrantee their work, and they do a very clean install. I never felt I was being pressured or lied to. They really seem to care about doing a great job. I can't recommend them enough. In fact, I've already been telling my friends and co-workers about this great company.

This is long over due but I want to thank everyone at American Home Water for their quick and professional response to replacing my water heater. It was Saturday morning and I went out in the garage only to find water coming from my water heater. It was old and time for a new one. I went to Home Depot and they wanted $600 for a water heater and another $500 to install. Thieves. I remember seeing a large neon sign just off the I-17 and the Loop 101 so I went there not thinking they would be open on a Saturday, but they were. Tom, the owner, said he would send some one right out. From the time I left the AHW office to the time the technician showed up was about 45 minutes. And in another 45 minutes I had a new water heater and it has been great. Great pricing, great same day service and Angel the technician was very thorough and explained the whole process.

Gerardo installed our new water softener. He was very friendly and efficient and we are extremely happy with the unit and the installation. Before he left he also offered to remove our old unit which we really appreciated and saved us the hassle of having to deal with it. The softener looks and works great and American Home Water has been a pleasure to work with. We like that their website lists their prices which allowed us to get an idea of what range we were looking at before calling to order. Old water heater went bad on Saturday. Went to Lowes and Home Depot on Sunday to see what they had. The Lowes choices looked good, but their installers were not there and the salesperson expressed some reservations about my installation. I had to return on Monday to talk directly with the installers. Since I had to wait, I figured why not do some research on Angies. I'm glad I did. American Water was right there on top of the reviews. So I called them on Monday,and they quoted me right then and there. I had researched their two offerings and preferred the B&W model. They came that same day, and the technician (Angel) perform the whole operation in little under an hour. He explained everything he was doing, how and why he setup the temps, and many other good information. The heater is on, more capacity than the old one, and a happy family.

This company is fantastic. I had American Home Water install a water softener and reverse osmosis system approximately one year ago. The original installation went very smooth and I have been very happy with the systems. They have been working flawlessly. Today, I called their office to schedule the annual RO system checkup and filter change. To my delight, they were able to schedule me for the same day. Their technician, Johnny, called approximately a half hour before arriving (well within the time frame that was originally scheduled). He showed up as promised, and provided very professional and courteous service. He was also able to quote a cost for installing a new pressure reducing valve as well as scheduling the service for later in the week. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with American Home Water. They provide exceptional service and very fair pricing. I will continue to use them in the future.
