It is such a pleasure to deal with knowledgeable professionals. I called Tom on Sept 8 and he was able to ask me pertinent questions to determine that we most likely needed a new water heater. He also clearly explained all costs so, no surprises. We live in extreme South Chandler and Tom was apologetic that they would not be able to offer same-day service due to the fact that many roads were under water thanks to the "Storm of the Century." The next day, I received a call at 8:04 am from Angel asking if it was okay to come out right away, could not ask for more prompt service! Angel arrived and it took him a little over an hour to remove the old and install the new heater. He took time to explain the operation of the heater and was kind enough to reset the timer on our existing re-circ pump so that we were not using electricity when we didn't need it. Angel was very competent, easy to talk with, and professional. After he left, there was no trace of his being there except for a new water heater. Thanks Tom and Angel, it was great doing business with you!

It went awesome. Johnny completed the install of the new RO system and set up the meter on our soft water system to keep it humming along.

I met with Tom Knapp in the showroom and he was very helpful in determining which unit was appropriate for my needs. I decided I wanted to think about the purchase and left. Later that same day, I decided to go ahead with the system so I called Tom. He was able to schedule the installation for the next morning. Gerardo was the technician. He called to let me know he was on his way and he arrived on time. He was very professional and explained what he was going to do and performed the work quickly. I've never needed a water softening system before and asked a lot of questions but Gerardo was very patient and answered them all, making sure I understood the system. He installed an additional shut off valve as well as a spigot for washing my car. When he finished, he cleaned up the work site and left me detailed written instruction on the follow up on the RO system for leaks as well as getting the filters replaced. The whole process from the interview and quote to the install was very painless. One of the things I really liked was the complete 10 year warranty. I also received a 5% discount as an Angie's List user. Total costs came in under quoted amount. It was a very, VERY pleasant experience from start to finish. I highly recommend American Home Water and Gerardo.

After researching Angie's list for water softener companies, I made a few calls to local businesses. American Home Water responded in a phenomenally short period. After talking to Tom on the phone, the other Tom showed up within 2 hours to inspect our existing system and gave us a proposal. We were pleased with the presentation which included the way the system is manufactured and installed and pleasantly pleased with the price which included the Angie's list discount. Gerardo, the installer showed up the next day. He was just a little delayed as he said he was called back to the office. Gerardo was professional, very knowledgeable and very efficient and he left his work area spotless. We can only hope that this company doesn't gauge us on annual maintenance and that their follow on service will be as commendable as their sales and installation departments.

appointment was to replace the filter of my 3-yr-old RO. but ended up having to replace the membrane as well. Gerardo suggested replacing the whole system with 5-yr warranty. He worked very fast and completed the installation in no time. He was the best. Sandy

Quick, quick and quick! Called them in the morning and by early afternoon the new water heater was up and running. American Home Water Inc. gives professional and outstanding service! Our service technician was Angel. He was prompt, helpful with giving out information, honest, did quality work, cleaned up the mess from the old water heater. HIGHLY RECOMMEND-------- we would use their services again.

I had a leaking outdoor faucet that was installed last fall (2013) . A minor leak but still a leak. I called AHW service dept. The gal that answered the phone said she would see what she could do and call me back. A short time later she called and said a service tech would be there within the hour. NOT NEXT WEEK, NOT IN A DAY OR SO, NOT BETWEEN THE HRS OF 8-12 OR 12-4 : BUT WITHIN THE HOUR . And sure enough, a short time later a service tech by the name of Hignio showed up and within minutes replaced the faucet with a new one which had to be soldered onto the pipe.. He done a fantastic job...... I periodically become involved with a contractor of some sort depending on the type of work that I need done. And I find some to be extraordinary and some to be just so-so. However, I have found AHW to be on the extraordinary list. We just moved in and the water softener broke beyond repair. After a lot of research, I decided to stick with the traditional water softening method to treat our very hard water. I found American Home Water had a lot of great online reviews. They are true! I called Tom Atkinson on Saturday morning and within a 1/2 hour, he was at my home for a consultation. It's August in Phoenix and a lot of people are out of town. It's a perfect time to have repair work done! Tom recommended a water softening system that I was already leaning toward based on my research. He never tried to push it on me. Also, he looked under my kitchen sink, saw a little cylinder purifier just for my kitchen tap and the boiling water tap. He said he could put in a reverse osmosis system with a tap replacing the boiling water tap and link it to my fridge for great tasting water. I never used this hot water tap, so I thought that would be great. I agreed to have the work done. He said he could put it in that day, but I had to leave in the afternoon and I did not want to wait until Monday to have the softened water. Very hard water is tough on hair, skin, dishes and clothes! Tom immediately got on the phone, because he knew one of his crews were finishing up a morning job. He booked them to get my supplies and get the job started at my house. He left telling me not to worry, they would be finished by the time I had to leave. They were! Angel and Higinio worked on my sink and fridge, and Gerardo worked in the garage. They were fast, efficient, friendly, and thorough. They left everything cleaned up. Higinio patiently explained how everything worked so that I understood. It's been a few day now and I am completely satisfied with my system. It was money well spent. When I need a new water heater, I know who to call.

Higinio was very knowledgeable about the R/O equipment and my refrigerator. He made the repair quickly and neatly, going above and beyond what I was expecting. He added two extra shut off valves and showed me where they were and what they controlled. He also informed me that I didn't need the filter in the refrigerator since the water was already filtered through the R/O system. He removed the filter from the refrigerator and tested it to make sure that there were no leaks. The new water line was neatly tacked up and out of the way. Higinio did a first class job.

The salesman, Tom Atkinson, came to our house, explained how the system worked and the cost of the water softener and reverse osmosis system. He provided us with information on the products and the bid. We looked at other companies but decided to buy from American Home Water. The installer, Gerardo, arrived on time and installed both systems in a timely and professional manner. We were pleased with the price, the quality service and we also received a 5% discount since we found American Home Water through Angie's List.

I drive by the sign for American Home Water everyday On I-17 so the idea of calling did come from there but not before looking on Angie's to make sure they had good ratings. I called on a Friday around 10:30 to inquire about hot water heater replacement. The phone was answered and price of replacement given without having to ask. Angel was the technician and he called by 12:00 to give time estimation for arrival. He arrived half way through the the exact window of time and water was heating before 3 pm. Very thankful for the ease and promptness of getting this done. Not sure how it would save to d.i.y. but for them to remove old heater and get it done in this summer heat so fast, it was worth any difference in price to me. I also had a spill pan put in with this heater as I wish that I one yesterday...... They plumb a piece of pvc to the ground from the pan so hope to save the wet dry wall down the road. Also worth it. Hope it is another decade before I cross that bridge again. Thanks again American Home Water, will recommend you anytime that I can.

Johnny repaired the RO system by changing the membrane filter that had failed due to high water pressure. He was very professional and did a good job. The repair cost for the RO system $75 and the filter cost $60 I felt was pretty high.But they have good prompt service and do a quality job.

Higgio called ahead and set up a time and did a good job. Very clean and quick install. Very happy with service.

Johnny was our technician who called ahead of time to insure we were going to be home and arrived right on time that was given. He was very professional and explained what he was going to do and performed the work quickly. He cleaned up the work site and left me detailed written instruction on the follow up on the RO system for leaks and showed me exactly what I needed to do to turn my Ice Maker back on when the checks were completed. I requested him to check out our "softener" system and all was in great working order. I was very pleased with the service that I received.

It went great. Came out same day! Called at noon came out by 2pm.

The service call went very well. technician, Johnny, came to originally just change the filters. However, quoting the cost of replacing the filters and the membrane and looking at the age of the system, it was determined that replacing the system was a better solution. Johnny moved the equipment to a much more efficent space usage under the cabinet. He also gave us quotes on a water softner system.

Tom (sales rep) came to our home and explained the benefits of the stated services. He was not pushy and was upfront with all the costs. We had done our homework on water softener systems before hand, and everything he told us was the truth. A few days later the technician Gerardo installed our system. He was extremely helpful and answered all questions.

I have used them for many years and find them to be competitive but most of all, their employees are outstanding. Professional, reliable and most knowledgeable. Gerardo has performed service calls in the past and has been with AHW for may years.

very prompt and was easy to make appt. Gerardo was my tech and he was very service oriented and very helpful. I would have given a higher score but I had really lousey service from them 2 years ago and now they seem to have recycled their team and have some great techs working for them. They have also replaced my soft water unit.
