Johnny was punctual, explained what he was doing as he did it and provided routine maintenance procedures. He was very personable and explanations were clear. I'm very pleased with American Home Water.

He said he would have a serviceman out by noon.At 11am doorbell rings , serviceman goes to work, finds problem, fixes problem with new part. Done by 11:30. Repaired under warranty. Great service. Knowledgeable and friendly serviceman.

Gerardo the tech arrived as I expected. He explained what he would be doing to install the new unit. When he finished he went over some of the basics of the new unit, warranty, etc. The old unit was hauled away. It was a very good experience. I will contact American Home Water for future AC & plumbing needs.

Hello, Tyler and Angel took the time to explain the process- the warranty features and about any future services if we required it. They also told us about the A/C services among other services that they perform. These 2 were complete gentlemen, they were quick and timely and they cleaned up afterwards.We will recommend them to everyone we know...and we will be sure to tell them to ask for Tyler and Angel to do the install too : ) Thanks so much for the amazing customer service and the new hot water heater that we no longer have to worry about when we leave town for the weekend! Came out to house within 30 minutes of call, repaired all work, fixed areas that were out of compliance for no extra charge and left area very clean and neat. Jose was very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He saved our surprise party that was later that day.

After a great experience with American Home Water when they installed my water softener, it was a no brainer who to call when it was time to replace our hot water heater. Tom gave me all the information I needed including the price over the phone. Angel and Tyler arrived the next day right on time and had the job completed in about 1.5 hours. They were very professional and left the work space spotless. No add on costs or upsales. Best of all, I have a highly rated hot water heater at a great price. They even have a 5% Angie's list discount!

This company has a model that all companies could use for customer service. Our water heater had become unreliable earlier in the day. Went to Showroom and talked with the representative. We had a new water heater installed the same afternoon. The process could have been done on-line although that is not the way we choose to do purchases because we like to talk to the representatives doing the work. Very nice, sincere individuals in the home office. Angel arrived at the scheduled time that afternoon and did a very professional job of installation. Very thorough in his work and explained the entire process. The work area was cleaned and swept before he left. We have used the company for other water devices (reverse osmosis) and have been exceptionally pleased with the installation and performance of the system also. I would highly recommend American Home Water to anyone who needs their products and will certainly use the company for any of our needs in the future.

I was getting the runaround from another plumbing company. We've been without hot water for 6 days. The other company told us the part has to be ordered and we'd have to wait until after Christmas. I called AHW and they had it fixed in 16 hours!! All my family wanted for Christmas was hot water and AHW answered our prayers!! Thank you American Home Water!!!

After I called, Higinio was out in 20 minutes and had the confort valve installed in about fifteen minutes. The total time was under an hour from my call.

From my call to them, to completion of replacing water heater was less than 6 hours. I'd call that outstanding! Camille was very congenial on the phone. Called me back promptly with projected arrival time. Called me again to change, which was fine. Angel showed up on time. Very fast worker. Was very courteous and polite. I would definitely use them again. Great price too! Price I payed was price quoted on phone. No unpleasant surprises! Discount if you have an "Angies List" account.

Staff is very courteous and on time. Johnny was the technician who showed up on time and started the work. Part way through the install he ran into some issues and complications since the main water pipe coming into the house from underground was at an incline/angle originally. After several attempts and a phone call or two, he recommended that a more experienced technician come into to get the job completely done. The main pipe at an angle caused some difficulties, no fault of the technician, in lining up the pressure reducer valve to his satisfaction. I agreed with him that he needed to get some additional support and was willing to wait the extra time. He called another technician - Higinio. Higinio arrived about 20 minutes later. Higinio was very personable and began to assess the situation and had a plan right away on how to do this more complicated job. He disassembled some of the soldered parts and in a few minutes was able to realign the pipes with the valves using a series of different techniques that clearly came from a lot more field experience. I find it always very interesting to watch someone use their experience and know how and make things look very simple. With what looked like no effort on his part, he got everything in place, nice and clean soldering, and then got the water running, pressure set properly, air out of the system, and all good to go in about 30-40 minutes. All while Higinio was working on this he answered all my questions and was very friendly. Higinio is an excellent technician which is why I guess he's training all the new younger technicians. Johnny made the right decision in calling in Higinio when he realized that the job was more complicated than he was ready to tackle. He was very patient and professional about his inability to get it done on the spot, but reassured me that they would get it done shortly. Higinio did just that and so far everything is working well and we don't seem to have the banging pipes any more from the high and surging water pressure. This company is great! They are VERY price competitive, provided their services within an hour of my calling them and did a great job. Angel installed a new water heater for me in about 1 and half to two hours. He was courteous and knowledgable. My water heater started leaking and I called a number of companies and a rep showed up from 1-800-Plumbing to inspect the failing unit. He came to the conclusion a new 50 gallon electric heater was needed. He quoted me $925 to replace the unit with either an OA Smith or Bradford Heater and spent a good deal of time telling me why Kenmore and Rheem heaters are junk. I thought the $925 seemed high and I asked him for a labor only price and he quoted me $592 ($440 for the heater and $152 for a ball valve and flex lines. That seemed high to me too, so I called AHW which I found right away on line. The AHW website gave a very straight forward price quote of $499 installed parts and labor for the same Bradford heater the other company quoted $925 for. I am not happy about having to replace and pay for a new heater. I am VERY HAPPY with the price and service AHW gave us. I highly recommend AHW and commend them for not gouging and deceiving me for their goods and services. They obviously know what they are doing and don't try to retire on the cost of one job. Really good guys that I will call again...I think my AC is going to need to be replaced and they appear to do this type of work too.

Called American Home water on Wednesday and talked to Tom A. I explained I had recently bought the house and the water softener system was 22 years old. Tom explained the various service options and cost along with cost for new system. As old system was near end of its service life I opted to replace system with new. Tom stated AHW would be able to install system next day and would call in morning to set up time. The technician (Grad) arrived at agreed time. He did an excellent job spent about one and a half hours to installing new system. He hauled the old system away and left everything clean. After completing installation Gerardo explained how system operated and how to maintain system. Really a great job

Price was fair. The serviceman Angel was on time, courteous, and explained everything he was doing. He answered a while bunch of plumbing questions that didn't even apply to the water heater. He did an excellent job. I would recommend.

Went great...service tech. Johnny was professional and informative. He showed me that my water pressure was too high. He recommended that the pressure be reduced so that the R/O system would not crack/break. Went over draining and refilling the R/O system He also went over water softeners sales and installation.

Received reminder call from AHW that our systems were due to annual filter change. The technician that completed the works was named Justin. He actually arrived earlier than scheduled; changed all filters and started the flushing process of the RO system due to the filter changes. He also thoroughly explained how to complete the flushing process and was very professional. We've had the water softening and RO systems in our home for a year now with absolutely no issues.

This is an AWESOME company. Within 18 hours of calling them I had a new water heater! I arrived home Friday evening to find water leaking from the bottom of my water heater. I checked Angie's list for a referral and found American Home Water with great reviews. The gentleman I spoke to first answered all my questions on whether I shut everything off correctly. Then he walked through finding the necessary information he needed and said they'd have someone out in the morning. I had already explained it was not an emergency and could wait until the next day. He informed me a technician would call first thing in the morning. As promised, Angel, the technician, called and said he'd be arriving within an hour and was here as promised. Angel was very professional, explained everything in detail, answered all my questions. Could not have had any better service! Great Job, highly recommend this company!!!

Contacted American Home Water on Thursday 12/4. Appointment set for the next day, 12/5. Tom arrived, presented the information quickly and concisely. Pricing was very competitive. Warranty exceeded our expectations. We thought we also needed a new RO system but Tom checked it and said it was working just fine. We signed up for installation and Higinio arrived later that same day and installed the new system. WOW....everything done and completed in one day. Higinio was very professional, answered all our questions and left the job site spotless. He was fantastic! This is a first rate company in terms of commitment to the customer, professionalism, delivery of services. Call American Home Water next time you need work done!

Installer Angel was on time and professional. Angel did a excellent jod on the install and replacement of the water heater. He checked all connections and cleaned up the area. Angel gave detail information on the warranty and install warranty. I am very satisfied with the install and would recommend this company. Thank you

Due to some circumstances, I was planning my Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday, Nov. 30. Around 8:00 p.m. the night before, I realized a small flood had formed under my sink and couldn't pinpoint from where it was coming. I called Tom at American Home Water and he walked my husband through on how to turn off the reverse osmosis and said if the leak stopped, it was the r/o and if it continued, we would need to call a plumber. It was the r/o and he said he would get someone out Monday morning - which was fine with us. We simply purchased bottled water for our dinner guests. His tech, Higinio, came out and spent about an hour in trying to repair our very old system, as we said things were a bit tight this month to be purchasing a new one. He was wonderful! Higinio spent so much time in trying to fix our r/o. He waited about 15 minutes just to make sure it wasn't leaking and then installed new filters, as it was time to do so - our bill was only $94.00. Even though we all thought it was fixed, it did leak overnight and we called the next morning to say we have no choice but to purchase a new r/o. Higinio came out promptly with another tech, Angel, to install the new r/o. Since the new filters that were installed the day before could not be used on the new system, Higinio was so very nice to give us 4 brand new filters to be used next year when it comes time to change them out. This company did not have to do that. They could of just said that the technician spent an hour at our house the day before and that was a service call. But instead, they gave us new filters so we were not out the money. We had purchased a soft water system from American Home Water about a year and a half ago based on the reviews from Angies List and gave a glowing review at that time. I'm doing so again, as I feel this company has excellent customer service, extremely knowledgeable technicians and the professionalism of the owner as well as the staff is incomparable. I can't praise enough both Higinio and Angel for doing such a great job. I will continue to recommend this company to my friends and neighbors. They have always done an outstanding job.

They call me each year to make an appointment - thank goodness, because I would probably forget. All of American Home Water's technicians who have come to our home has been knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. Yesterday, it was Gerardo who came to service the system, and he was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. He called to let me know when he would arrive (he was spot on with his time estimate) and he very quickly checked the system, changed the filters, and explained how to drain the tank and ready the system for use once again.

We awoke yesterday - Thanksgiving Day! - to an ill water heater that had no hope of survival. Since we have had previous work done by this incredible company, we called ON THANKSGIVING, explained the situation, and booked an appointment for a new one for TODAY....just one day later. The owner told us that our technician would probably be here around 4:00, so imagine my surprise when I got a call from ANGEL that he would arrive between noon and 1:00. He arrived during that window and went right to work. 90 minutes later, we have a beautiful new water heater and even more confidence in this company. There's no fine print to pricing....what they say is what goes. Angel explained everything to me in detail, and gave me a timeline for when the hot water would begin flowing. He showed a few things on the water heater that I might need to know and made sure that everything was as he found it. There was not even the smallest piece of trash left behind. Since we have recently moved into the neighborhood, we are SO HAPPY that we have found this company. We would not hesitate to use them again.....and would even request Angel as our technician if we had the choice.
