American Home Water installed our water softener and R/O about two years ago. Yesterday I noticed a wet spot in the garage caused by a drip from one of the copper pipes connected to the water softener. I called AHW first thing in the morning at 6:30 am and spoke to Tom and told him we had a leak. He took my info and said they would have a technician out by early afternoon. When Gerardo called to let me know he was on his way, I was picking up my kids from school and told him I might be 5 minutes behind him. He said no problem. Gerardo was professional, friendly and knowledgable. I showed him the problem and he had it fixed in no time. There was no charge for the repair. I am extremely happy with the service from AHW and happy to know that they stand behind their products and labor. I would not hesitate to call them again or recommend them to friends!

On time, a pro, answered questions without hesitation, and was very informative. He first checked the pressure to the house. He then checked the general operation of the system, changed the filters, checked the system for leaks (none), cleaned up and asked if I had any questions. With the new filters the system will need to be flushed out and he told me how to do that which was just turn it on and wait until it slows to a trickle, turn it off, wait an hour, then turn it on for 5 minutes. Piece of cake.

My water heater went out the day before so I ordered a new one on Angie's List immediately. Next morning American Hot Water called and let me know that a technician would be out later that day and the tech would call to set the time. After setting the time the technicians (Fidel & Mario) arrived early to complete the work. They were fast, efficient and professional at all times they were on site. There was no mess and they cleaned up the site perfectly. Fidel did a walk through upon completion explaining what to expect from the unit, how to get contact them if needed and the warranty information. I am 100% satisfied with the job they did and will definitely use them again if needed.

Flexible scheduling, and the technician Gerardo was very prompt. He completed the job in a timely manner and was very professional.

They came out within the hour & repaired it at no cost since it was covered by their 10 year parts & labor warranty. Higinio was very professional & courteous.

Prompt response to a concern I had about a weird noise. Came out the next day and repaired a small problem, normal wear and tear. Cleaned up nicely.

After successfully hiring people for 20 years, I know within minutes whether I want to work with someone, my husband who checks things out throughly feels I am better at analyzing people than any reviews or word of mouth. In this case, American home water and air hit every mark for me and within literally minutes of talking with Tom the owner, I knew that his company was the only one I wanted to deal with. From the start, I fired many direct questions where he not only answered but had the statistics to back them up. Pleasant, warm honest and ethical one can just "feel it and see it" owner on property answering questions, no fancy showroom which is great that means we as customers don't pay for that, no advertising needed, word of mouth is how they roll....Tom did NOT try to up sell, he even explained they had refurbished models...who does this now days? They attack you with the most expensive units first and try to explain why that's the only way to go...not Tom, again honest, explained things in depth and we ended up getting the most expensive unit because it's what we wanted due to water capacity for our family of five. i asked if we could get it delivered Monday (it was Saturday) no problem...I said I had an appointment in the am could it be delivered in the afternoon, that also was not an issue. In fact, NOTHING was an issue...everything went smooth and was a fabulous experience! gerardo called me in the am, set up the time, called before he came as requested did a fabulous job! Efficient, fast and didn't leave a mess, he respected our property and was neat and so very pleasant! The best experience...with the best people!

Placed an order for a new water softener on Saturday on the phone and on Tuesday it was installed by Gerardo. Excellent service, price. product and technician. Definitely recommended.

Outstanding. Waited a month to see how I liked my new system. Love it. I had very hard water. White spots everywhere. Residue at bottom of dog water bowls, stubborn toilet bowl rings. Gone. Fidel and Javier installed my system in professional manner. Cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend American Home Water!

I called American Home Water & Air last night after 9 pm because my water heater died. Got ahold of a live person who scheduled me for a new heater install the very next day. I told them I needed it to be later in the afternoon to accommodate my work schedule, and they did that without a problem. Angel showed up right on time, and 1 hour later my new water heater is up and running. Could not be more satisfied. Thank you!

It could not have gone any smoother. Gerrardo was right on time and completed the work in a friendly and professional manner. There was no mess and equipment was all tested and working correctly. A brief tutorial was given for both products so we knew exactly what to expect and how to operate them. We could not be any happier.

It went like clockwork and Angel and Higinio were very professional, filled me in on everything they were doing, and made sure I was happy with the job when completed. I had the company come out the day before to be sure they had one that fit in my tight space. They were also nice enough to tack up some dry wall that had fallen off behind it, which I couldn't get to while the other water heater was still in. They also took off and reattached my recirculator. All works great! And they left no mess whatsoever!

Really good. Luis was my technician and I couldn't ask for a nicer or more knowledgeable person. In what was a fairly straightforward service, I learned a lot about water quality, how mine stacked up, status of my RO membrane, when I should be looking for a replacement - in fact, I will buy from AHW when I do replace the RO system because that way I get the guarantee if it is needed vs. having no recourse since I purchased my existing system over the web the last time. Anyhow - the whole visit was perfect: timely, neat, informative and very cost effective. I have used American Home Water several times - well, I always go to them since the first time they came out to put in my new "President" water softener. They get a 110% recommendation for me, kind of like an A+.

I had a RO that was aged and leaking. I looked up on Angie's list for companies that worked on RO and found AmericanHomeWaterandAir (their reviews were right up there.) The fellow who did the install arrived right on time and installed everything quickly and smoothly. He gave my husband information on the system which was helpful. Would I hire them again? Absolutely!

American Home and Water did a fantastic job installing a new 50 gallon electric water heater and disposing of my 14 year old water heater. Higinio and Mario were very professional on the job and showed me how to fully operate the new water heater. Higinio noticed a problem our plumbing system had called "crossover" where cold water sometimes mixes with the hot water. While their business does not fix this particular problem is was very much appreciated that the problem was detected and he even referred me to the owner of American Home and Water who was able to help me troubleshoot the problem. Above and beyond ... YES indeed. I would strongly recommend giving American Home and Water a call if your in the market for a water heater, water softener, etc. Honest, punctual, professional is the way to describe this company. I have and will continue to recommend American Home and Water to friends.

I called AHW early on a Saturday and was given a quote and told someone could be out in the afternoon .Fidel Sanchez came out and took care of replacing the water heater. It was a real pleasure to watch such a pro at work. He took time to pay attention to details and did it very efficiently .I am often disappointed with the lack of pride that some workers take in their work. Fidel really paid attention to the little things and that let me relax and actually enjoy the whole experience. No upsells the price was just as quoted.

My water softening system failed and American Home Water came out the day I called to survey the situation. Tom A. explained what had happened with the system and told me all my options, including both repair and replacement and the pricing involved. They came out the next day, at a time based on my availability , and installed the new system. The installation was fast and clean. The technicians were very polite and professional and answered all my questions. They even did a small plumbing repair that was needed because of the failure of my system. This was probably the best contractor experience we have had in the six years that we have been in Scottsdale. Pricing was also very reasonable and in line with the research I have done.

Everything went very well. They were able to schedule the install sooner than we expected. Gerardo arrived promptly and completed the work without any issues. He was able to answer all our questions. Would not hesitate to use this company again.

Cleaned coil and checked two units that are about 10 years old. Everything went great! The technician explained everything that was going on with my systems and showed me before and after the coil cleaning.

I called American Home Water at 8pm on a Friday expecting not to have someone out to our house until Monday or Tuesday. Fortunately, Tom called me promptly the following morning, was able to provide a quote over the phone and we had a new water softener before the end of the day. Our tech Higinio was prompt and professional. The price that was quoted was what we paid and there wasn't even an extra charge for it being a Saturday service. I would definitely recommend and will use again if needed.

Pretty straightforward review. Both Tom's recommended the same unit and quoted the same price two days before the install date. They replaced an old water softener, that had quit working with the "President," an upgrade over the old/existing unit. I had a limited time available in the morning for the appointment and let them know what time I needed to leave the house. Gerardo called just past 7am and let us know he was on his way. He arrived promptly and got to work. He removed the existing unit from a tight spot and installed the new unit in the same area. He modified the piping setup. He set the unit up, tested it, explained how it works, and disclosed the warranty. I didn't have to do anything but pay the same amount we were quoted by both Toms. Gerardo completed the work well before I needed to leave and cleaned up the area. It has 2.5 times the capacity of the old unit, and as a bonus it looks great. My wife is amused because I've been showing people "before" and "after" pics. Not much more to say except this was New Year's eve day.
