Things went well. I had gone to a car wash a couple of days ago. While there they had a windshield guy tell me that I needed to get the windshield replaced because the glue wasn't holding etc. There were a number of things going on that gave me doubts so I said no. When I got home I called my insurance agent. She recommended American Glass to me and said things have always gone well with them. I called American Glass. They listened to what was going on and with my concerns. They said they could schedule an appointment and have their guy look at it. They also called the insurance and let me know that if it needed to be replaced then it would be covered. The employee, didn't catch his name, showed up on time this morning. I explained the situation. He looked at the window and said it didn't need to be replaced. He also looked at a chip in the window and said that didn't need to be done either because it has already been done. Then he took a few minutes explain why the window didn't need to be replaced - the glue and other things that the car wash window guy had shown me to let me know it didn't need to be replaced. I appreciated this so I could know in the future when others were not being exactly truthful. When he was done he asked me to call the insurance and let them know the replacement had been cancelled. I appreciated his honesty and time spent. I will definitely use American Glass when/if needed. I also plan on recommending him to friends and family.
