AMERICAN DREAM PLUMBING HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING

I was replacing a water heater and needed to replace the old supply lines. Since the job was so small (3 copper pipe solder connections), I used the list to find someone nearby. They scheduled for the same day. I mentioned the Angie's List ($30) coupon and the plumber quoted me $225, minus $30 for the coupon. I thought the price was steep, but I bit the bullet, since I'd been without hot water for 2 days. The job consisted of sawing off the two old connections and resoldering a $10 ball valve (plumber supplied) and two copper flex lines (I supplied). The job took 30 min. from start to finish. I installed the water heater a few hours later. The work was well done and there were no leaks. My main complaint is price. Even subtracting the coupon and the price of the ball valve, that's still $185 for a half hour job. A more thorough look through the list shows that there are plumbers who charge more reasonable rates for small jobs. My bad.

First, I called another service and they never showed up. So then I called them and they were at my house approximately within 30 minutes. They did an amazing job and I would like for this company to be on Angie's List. I am so glad that I found them. They are very recommendable.

I will never use him or recommend him to anyone, I am not happy at all with any of the service or work that was done, and I don t like to think about it. When he came I had to help him hold things up while he was working. Then he sent me to a home supply store to buy the kitchen sink myself. I spent way too much money with him and it seems to be for nothing, I get upset every time I think back on it. It was a bad experience and he is a rip off. He took advantage of me knowing I didn't know about plumbing or what needed to be done.

The plumber's name was Chris. He arrived on time and went right to work. He was very professional, completed all work in about an hour and cleaned up afterwards. He also gave us an estimate for some possible future work.

They were fun to talk to, very polite and professional. The worker showed up on the agreed upon time. He thoroughly explained what he was going to do. He did a very efficient job and reported when he was done and explained what he had found. I would highly recommend them.

On time, neat appearance. Explained what he would have to do and gave a price range, because he didn't know what he would find until he had the toilet off. Fixed everything in a timely manner and cleaned up after. Price was fair, it was a lot of work. It was just before Thanksgiving and the company offered a free turkey with service. Instead, I received a 20.00 grocery gift card in the mail, which was actually better.

ALTHOUGH THE PLUMBER WAS PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL, THE ESTIMATES PROVIDED WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD IN TERMS OF EXPENSE. TO PUT INTO PLACE 2 SINKS WE HAD ALREADY BOUGHT, ALONG WITH NEW FAUCETS AND REPLACEMENT VALVES, THE ESTIMATE WAS MORE THAN $1600! MY HUSBAND AND I DID THE WORK OURSELVES AND HAD ANOTHER PLUMBER CHECK IT IN A FEW HOURS. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE NEARLY $800 PER SINK THAT WE WERE QUOTED.
