They did a great job picking out a stain and choosing a topcoat that gave just the look we wanted. On the negative side, they were very resistant to sealing off their work area with plastic, needed a lot of nagging to keep the project on track so they didn't get seriously behind schedule, and did not clean up after themselves very well. Additionally, at the end of the project, Alfredo presented me with an invoice that was about twice his original estimate as he charged separately for items like $800 for the adhesive to glue the wood down. When I objected, he amended the invoice somewhat, but the job still ended up being much more expensive than I had been led to believe it would be.

"Dear Client, I have just read for the first time your comments since we completed your job. I am glad to hear that the floor turned out the color that you desired and the finished look you wanted. It's always great to see that we have accomplished in your floor what you requested from us. On the other hand I am sorry to hear about the plastic issue and the extra charges. Adhesive is never included in the installation cost, unless specified by you for us to included it in your price per sq. ft. , in this case, you purchased the hardwood flooring from another provider, he should have included this or notified us that the adhesive was not bought and for us to provide it, yet we were not notified by either party. So when we showed up at the job, the adhesive was not there as we had been expected to be provided by the seller of the hardwood flooring, and since no notification had been given to us, so we went ahead and provided it for you. Alfredo did try to give you a better deal, even though this was not our mistake, we wanted to make this a painless as possible. In regards to the plastic, I am sorry, usually we never have a problem on getting this done. Also our rates have always been very reasonable and competitive , especially if referred by a flooring store. It is unfortunate that we did not have better communication, and we apologize.
