Allstate Appliances is SO BAD that our builder has severed the relationship with this crap company. RUN AWAY. Do NOT buy here, do NOT contract with this company if you are a builder. They will take your money and proceed to provide **** poor service and even worse installation, costing potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars. My husband and I were one of the first buyers in a new build condo community. It's my very first owned property and we decided that after years of saving for our very own home we were going to do it up right. Our builder had contracted with Allstate and when we wanted to upgrade from the stock appliances offered, we were sent over to Allstate to see what we'd like instead. We were enthralled with the Dacor Modernist line and selected a built-in refrigerator, 30" wall oven and gas cook-top, and dishwasher. The collective retail on these is roughly $23,000 - $25,000. For this sum of money I should be seeing white glove service from start to finish. Well... this experience has been anything but. And it's appalling. The first mistake was the salesman who suggested there'd be "No problem!!" fitting into a 30" space a wall oven below a gas cook-top. Even though Allstate was contracted for hundreds of thousands of dollars with the condo project, he didn't bother to verify specs before he made his pronouncement. When it came time for the install, the builders found didn't fit. And that was after quartz counter-tops and cabinetry had been fabricated for that space. It all had to be scrapped. Our builders being the ethical lifesavers that they are, offered to expand the space to 36" and pay the difference for a 36" range we originally wanted. Yay! The 36" digital range arrives with plenty of issues. The digital panel won't tilt out and if it does, it goes partway and won't go back in and I can hear the motor whining inside. All night long I also hear it making its little dings as it cycles back and forth between sleep and active mode, unable to stay in either one. One of the knobs also rubs against its housing - which is damaged, knob or housing, I'm not sure. On to the refrigerator now. The installers really did not give 2 sh*ts about quality workmanship. The fridge is supposed to be BUILT IN. That means FLUSH with the surrounding cabinetry. It sticks out a good 1 3/4 inches. And why? The Dacor rep (who had to come out to actually see this travesty for himself [and who is NOT affiliated with Allstate]) noticed that because there was no piece of wood called a "return" which normally sits along the side of the cabinetry and is used to affix a built-in fridge to, because that was not there, the installers decided to screw the fridge into the outer edge of my cabinets. Hence the protrusion too far into the kitchen space. These guys also didn't have the right length screws (or didn't bother to rummage through all the parts that come with the fridge) and because their screws were too long, they just decided to screw them in at random angles up or down in hopes they wouldn't pierce through the cabinets. That was a failure. We have screw tips protruding into our cabinetry from both the dishwasher AND refrigerator installation. They forgot the toe kick on both the fridge and dishwasher. They didn't install the coverings over their horrible screw job down both sides of the refrigerator. They didn't install another covering that goes along the top inside of the fridge. They didn't install yet another cover that covers the mechanics of the freezer door, leaving exposed screws and sharp things. The Dacor rep said these people must have THROWN AWAY all these coverings due to their dumb-***kedness because they are wrapped carefully and packed in foam in the refrigerator container. They just grabbed what they could see and slammed it in. Then tossed the boxes without bothering to verify their work. Allstate is horrible. Their installers are jokes. Their salespeople are uninformed and careless. Maybe this "family business" could do with being bought out by a company with some integrity. Huge fail.

We met with the salesman at the store and he was very helpful. He showed us multiple manufacturers and we settled on the ones we wanted ( Thermador). Ray said he would get us an estimate in a couple of days. He did as promised and his price was $2000 less than the competitor. We ordered the equipment and set an install date 4 weeks out. We did not hear from anyone and the install week was upon us. I received a call from Ray, asking if I could move the date as they had a scheduling issue. I said no, as we had already planned to miss work to do the install. He said they would make it work. The day before the install, they called to say the appliances were not in the state so they would have to move the date. We made it clear we were not happy and we wanted a firm date. Several days went by, so we called them to follow up. They said the appliances were in, and they scheduled the date. The day before the install, the installer came over to look at what would be needed to complete the work. They informed us that there would be an additional several hundred dollar charge added due to cabinet and counter work needed. Nowhere on the invoice or work order does it state there could be additional charges. They took a little bit off the additional charge price and we accepted the rest of the charge. The next day, they showed up to install, but told us the range top wasn't there. I asked why we were told all the appliances were there when they weren't. All they could do was apologize. The installer worked all day to get the appliances in, but needed to come back to finish the following day. We had to wait around until he showed up to finish the current work, and the install of the appliances that arrived was completed. It was an additional 2 weeks before the cooktop arrived and then we planned an install day for that. So, we ended up having to miss two days of work to cover their error. Our biggest complaint was that we had to keep calling them to follow up. There wasn't any proactive communication once they received our order/payment. We had to keep calling to find out what was going on. From a price perspective they are good. The install was done right and all look great. It's just you have to stay on top of them to ensure they do what they say when they say it will occur.
